😭 SLAP n she is back to reality... The harsh n cruelty of the society of 1940s n maybe in some cases even today we face these reality... Those who never really complained about Gayu getting FREEDOM are now even against her going out of the house... .. N her mother taught her again cause just because her fiancee died after their engagement when she was a child, she even lost the right to dream, pyar to bohot door ki baat hai!! 😭 😭 😭 ... N the rishta... BRUTAL REALITY OF A GIRL LIKE GAYATRI IN 1940SS 😭 😭

But Gayu's father still loves her like nothing else... But her mother knows that the world can be even more harsh tp her daughter...

times have changed
but girls plight is still the same
all control restrictions on girls
no control or restriction on boys
mentality has to change drastically
then only society will change

Mother is right at her place. She doesn't want her daughter to suffer bcoz of her dreams.
We can't say mother is completely wrong in not letting Gayu dream bcoz any mother will feel what she is dreaming is next to impossible.

That scene had lot of emotions & pain.

No doubt her father loves her. Just bcoz he slapped her doesnt mean the love has vanished. he still cares for her the most.

What is shown in precap is harsh reality of India especially in those days which generation like us here on social media won't agree to
