To add,I would say that in most cases it is the circumstances...as far Krishna, Ruk, Miraare concerned.. to my best knowledge, mira was just a devotee(who felt platonically attached to the lord) of Lord Krishna as she was born many many years ahead of Krishna...Here in the story, Sudha's father allows Chander to be a part of his household but has never thought him as a prospective husband for her daughter...I think Chander very well knows it and controls his feelings out of respect for his Guru.Though I love the character of Sudha..still I am unable to believe that a girl of Sudha's age doesn't know what love is...especially when she spends most of the time in close proximity of a young man...she may not have realized but not knowing the meaning...seems a bit a strange to me..
