I don't know ... I personally don't want the show to end. Ever since StarPlus' Mahabharat ended, ENP has become my primary "sit-in-front-of-the-tv-and-yell-at-the-CVs-for-portraying-stupid-and-ridiculous-stuff" time. I enjoy yelling at Sharda, Suresh, Dadi, and Shanaya. I cheer for KaSak and Latika. And I can't help but notice Chirag is absent like usual.
I've stopped looking at this show as Sharda's Nayi Pehchan.. to me it's more like Sharda's Confusing Pehchan and it works since Sharda's pehchan is pretty confusing.
This is my perfect ending:
Shanaya goes for the ultimate move - she wants to lace Sharda's drink with poison. No one is aware of this, not even KaSak. But Shanaya accidentally ends up lacing Suresh's drink. When Suresh starts to choke and die, Shanaya will tackle him and cry and yell that it was her fault. She wanted to kill Sharda but instead she killed Suresh!
Sharda protects her for one last time, but when the cops arrive Shanaya loses it and confesses to everything. Shanaya is thrown in jail on accounts of murder, Sharda is also thrown in jail for protecting a criminal, and Karan and Latika become the new bosses of the industry. Karan being the CEO and Latika being the COO. Sakshi joins in as the company's CFO (Prateek is happy with his work). They all visit Sharda three times a week and they don't feel sad because now they all realize what Sharda's true pehchaan is -- a teacher who loves giving lectures on goodness and happiness and tolerance, etc.
At the very end we can see all the missing people:
Chirag and Aarav start a small business venture together, Diya grows up to be a beautiful women, Dadi dies. The camera pans upward and we can see Pallavi smiling down from the heavens ... with a sulking Suresh standing in the background.
