Seriously !! I donnot understand this women. An only daughter, eldest child, loved and pampered by her father and mother. But as they say daughters are father's princess. But how the heck can she forget that she is a women at the end with a daughter of her own.

Her father, whom she has seen as a hero and follows all his advice/orders blindly , is accepting that he cheated on his wife for 35 long years. And this women is still supporting her father 😡.

His Wife is uneducated that is his excuse for a fraud called second marriage 🥱. So ,her husband can take another wife and say latika you and I are not compatible, you are too ambitious for me so I did this, and she would be ok with it??, or best her daughter diya should be ok with this!!

In the very first episode of ENP, we see suresh rushing home everyday for lunch specially to eat sharda's hand made mukhan(butter). So laitka is very well aware of the role her uneducated mother plays in her father's life and the whole household. So questioning sharda's ability to be a successful and loving wife is just beyond being unfair. For every single thing she sees her dad calling for sharda. And even then she needs Sakshi to put some sense into her brain and make her realize that her father is wrong.

Today I'm very disappointed in latika's character. she was spoiled and immature for me so far but today she just was not acceptable for me. Not because she was thinking as a suresh modi's eklauti, bigdi hui, ladli; but because she stooped low on terms of being a women. A husband cheated on a women and married someone else and has no remorse for what he did, plus that women happens to be your mother. All daughter's out there, would you justify such an act, even if that man is your father?

what?? she has not changed at all and still thinks low of her mum!!!!!

I thought after revealation of her dad's double life she will change a bit and support her mum

well deep down I was expecting this but still thought she will open her eyes and see her dad had faults as well. where as before it was always her mum's fault and her excuses would be u will not understand as u r not educated, how much dad works hard to earn money and blah blah lectures to her mum

look at how she treated her husband before

I have always disliked Lathika' character for showing extra attitude to her mom. From the first episode she is like that. Always thinks low about her mom. Her mom was the one who told her dad to send Laithka to a high standard school and give her the best education ... And now when she got everything ... She has problems. Wow I have never seen a daughter like that. I have always seen daughters very attached to their mothers... Especially if they don't have any sisters... But Laithika is a weirdo.

wait wait woah!! Latika just tries to understand the situation from her dad's POV. It's completely natural to look at both sides before making a judgment.

She would said the same thing (hopefully) is Sharda was having an affair. It's not like she is demeaning her mom, it's just that she spends more time with her dad, so she understands him more. Further, Suresh directly targeted Latika by mentioning her and Prateek's relationship. It isn't like she supported Suresh's actions, but it seemed more like a questioning her own perception. She did realize it after Sakshi spoke to her, but I think the way they showed Latika was perfect. She is an adult who spends most of her time with her dad, whose focus was business, and who never looked up to her mom until Sharda proved herself. She still hasn't developed far enough to support her mom in everything she does, but she has been gradually building her character to something close to that. Again, the way they showed it was very well done because this is Latika's turning point -- or her Nayi Pechaan per se.

She spends more time with her dada, so shouldnt have this been more of shock to her. She considered herself his ladli, and she considered her father as her hero, and now her so called hero has accepted that he married twice, he has a second family, and has not shown an iota of remorse. so in such a situation latika's reaction is something which I dont understand.

To be frank when suresh questioned her about her and pratik, I would have expected her to answer that yes I do think that probably a life partner with similar interest and someone who is more ambitious would have been better, but for that I wont cheat on my husband. I would have divorced him and remarried someone else if I so desperately wished to be with someone else.

I know this is Sakshi's story, but still they should not have showed latika looking at the things the right way through sakshi. It would have been best had they showed that after supporting suresh, latika herself debated and says that he cheated on mom and that was wrong. Now this would have been debating and looking through both the angles.

the way they presented latika It has made me feel that through all this she will end up supporting suresh, because suresh will need support from his family to get back the respect and position he has lost. With latika and probably chirag on his side, he will not care what others have to think and do.We cant forget that she cheated her own brother to get a project, so she inturn might end up justifying suresh's act.

It would have been awesome if they had done it like you described -- much better way of doing it.

But I think Latika's final decision will be when she knows what Suresh's plan is. From today's episode, it seems clear that Suresh wants to have both ladies as his wives thereby sustaining his image and reputation. Suresh may also pull some dirty tricks to get Latika on his side - like threatening to fire her or something. It will be interesting to see Latika's role in all though. Her character is pro-business and she goes to any extent for that... we'll see.

I actually was waiting for her to put down her mom and applaud her dad when the confrontation was going on. Espcialy when Karan was yelling at Suresh. I expected her to prove to me that beyond her own tunnel vision , she cannot see anything,

She only respects her mom when she needs her, when things are happy but will be the first to show her the door when she disagrees with sharda. I have no hope or expectation from lathika.

I want her husband to take her daughter away and she and her dad can run the business all by themselves.

Yes, Latika is a huge letdown as a daughter but I expected this from her n I won't be surprised in future if they show her supporting her dad, when once again he comes to convince her.
When he told her abt Prateik, she stopped arguing n actually kept quite.

When they showed her backstabbing Karan, just for a client , I had written that they butchered her character completely. From that incident it was clear that she does not value relationships.
She never respected her mother, she used to get embarrassed of her. She never spoke up for her mom when her dad used to insult he, instead she discouraged her from going to school n later designing Patola saree for Meeta.She even finds her husband non-classy.
She was even trying to convince Karan, that somewhere their dad is right.
The only gud thing is Sakshi knocked some sense into her though she considers both Karan n Sakshi as loosers.

After the revelation I expected Latika to be on Sharda's side but no she is not doing that...she is supporting her dad for his misdeeds? But this again will give Sharda a huge blow and once she becomes famous and maybe marry someone else, the father - daughter duo will understand their mistake!!

OMG my father even in terms of joke he ever told that he will get married i was like hydrogen bomb to him and would say that if any one give problem to my mom i would murder him .but seeing this latika i really pity her on her thought wish that pratik get married to another women and diya says same words to her what she said to her mother .may be this might bring some sense to latika. if not than on god can save her .
