Why was Kittu being so silly?

I know Ishaan was being playful but same goes for Kittu. She's a sensible girl, it didn't make sense for her to go jumping up and down when she knows she's pregnant. Even the way she climbed up the stairs with her duppatta hanging down was so careless.

I don't know. I just thought this "jumping jack" sequence on Kittu's part pretty was lame and silly. It seems as if she has no gratitude for nature's precious gift.

THANK GOD someone else made this topic...i agree 110%, Ishaan may be silly but Kittu should have known better - she knew she was pregnant, she knew she had to take it easy, she knew the family had said to her numerous times to calm down, she knew she nearly fell going up the stairs so to be extra careful going back down, shes married with responsibilties so why oh why was she acting so so childish by running about after Ishaan he hadent even teased her that much im sorry if anyone disagrees with me but i felt it was so unfair to blame everyone barr her for what happened, it wasent Ishaans fault.

Right! She nearly did fall and the whole family was begging and worried. She's usually not this childish, but this act was even worse than what a kindergartner would do. Definitely didn't expect this from an expecting mother. I mean there are so many couples out there who yearn for this day but are not so blessed and here we have it, an expecting mother running and "playing" with no thought on how serious it could be. Such a mockery.

yup she was careless...and i wld say more than Ishaan she is to be blamed...but its okay guys...she wasn't mocking the "gift" she was jsut being playful and in the heat of the moment she got carried away...happens yaar...sometimes we r so so engrossed that we just forgett he bigger picture...she was happy and way too excited and charged up...so she just got carried away...and its her nature...Anand wld have to be on his toes with her...coz Kittu can't sit still, she can't sit quitely in one corner...she NEEDS to be jumping around and being happy and bubbly and in the middle of everything and everyone...cp it wld be hard for her to restrain herself not because she doesn't care but because its not her nature...so Anand any which ways wld have to watchover her...and m all for it...☺️.

Zor should have shouted at Kittu as much as he shouted at Ishaan

Anand should stand in water and say sorry to her when she encouraged his sister to elope

Ishaan should be shouted at when she did not act responsibly at all

Anand should be shouted at by Zor and Amrit while she is treated like a queen in divorce phase , Anand did not even ask for divorce , it was Zor who brought the papers

the latest is pressurizing Kamini to accept Shraddha by keeping her out of pregnancy

this itself is so wrong . Kamini should accept on her OWN not due to any pressurization . One was enough . Keeping her out of the roka and ganging up and forcing her to say yes . Acceptance has to be on your own , not due to any pressure that children will not keep any relation , u will not be included in any festivity etc . Kunal can take any decisions , he should have planned seperate home for wife right from the beginning before marraige . He has messed up in decision making . Kamini never liked Shraddha and Dhruv , she made no secrets . Kunal should have planned well .

And now Kittu is EBing her to accept Shraddha and the 2 stupid grandmothers r at her ears like popats . Is this the way to make anyone accept something ? Kittu should now stay out of matter between her brother and mother and as far as grandmothers go , so sorry , u r pressurizing too . Ur opinions and hers need not be the same . If she has done wrong , let the realisation come on her own . Let the acceptance be free of pressure .

Kittu has always been irresponsible in her own marital life , she jeopardised her marraige with Anand by doing anti sasural antics and now she was super careless about baby . She takes husband for granted , insults her mother and uses pressurizing tactics constantly and is chamchi of saas sasur , this is story of Meri Bhabi .

Saanjh , i know this is not the thread but the show is ending and here is my take

Meri Bhabi failed and TRPs went down coz there were no two sides shown . There was only one side ...Shiv Parvati [ Zor Amrit] and Kittu were ALWAYS right . Anyone who crossed them was wrong .

Zor was the most arrogant character in MB . He had tremendous ego . Colonel Shergill this and that ...people who don't watch this show deeply enough don't notice that he was worst than Kamini and equally autocratic . His children had no right to opine on their own . They each time had to choose HIM and HIS ways . Shraddha had to choose him over Kunal . Kittu had to prove her loyalty by choosing him over Kamini . Anand could not take even a personal decision like being miffed with his wife on his own when Zor decided it was enough and they needed Kittu back as bahu coz Jaya managed the house horribly . It was always and always Zor's way .

But the worst was when Zor demanded Kamini should apologise to his daughter and no one had the guts to tell him he was being tremendously egoistic . Kamini was super wrong and fine , don't ever send ur daughter to her but the apology was not going to ensure any future non hassle free happiness for Shraddha . Infact it would have sown the seed of hatred forever . You had already made a mistake by doing roka by keeping boy's mother out for all ur boastful talks about sanskaars .

This ego was another one .

Amrit came across as one who was so relieved to get out of one abusive marraige that she made it the goal of her life to enjoy romance in the second one to the fullest by keeping Zor khush . For that she talked sweetly to her bahus , ignored Jaya's inefficiencies and praised Kittu's efficiency to the skies and got the household work done while she enjoyed romantic chats with Zor . Amrit never corrected his mistakes or Jaya's mistakes but laughed it off and cleverly and cutely sat on the fence .

Shraddha , as one member aptly described long back , was a yo yo . For the life of me i don't know what great love story she had with Kunal as she LEFT him and finally agreed when HER egoistic father permitted . Till then it was a firm NO .

The bottom line was Kunal left his mother for her

did not care about how it would affect his sister

later left house for her

went on his knees in front of her father for her

but she did NOTHING .

Kunal and Purushottam destroyed self esteem and respect . Thats not being 'good' as being falsely shown in serials . Purushottam lost all value as a character when he tried to do roka keeping own wife out when he should have told his son to go ahead , marry Shraddha in court marraige and told Zor that give them blessing as i have told them to stay in seperate house .

Kamini was not wrong in her objection to Shraddha . Her boy was an eligible America returned bachelor who would have got great proposals . Her expectations were not wrong . The serial mocked them . Her daughter thought her divorcee nanand with a kid was the best deal for her brother coz she wanted her place in sasural safe . Purushottam with his 'yaars' never understood his wife . I don't fault Kamini for not liking her son's choice neither do i fault her for not believing in 'pyaar' stories .

I fault her for her condition of seperating mother and child .

I fault her for this and this alone . Best is , tell ur son , stay seperate . I have different thoughts . Neither can i be broad minded nor accepting of your choice . But the way Kamini behaved with Dhruv is unacceptable to me .

In my opinion the whole flavour of SHRANAL marraige was lost when Dhruv remained sad in the marraige and was not taken by them both saying we will take him later .

What romance and first night they showed and how could the mother be blushing and happy with son left behind . For that matter how could she leave him behind and go . How could she not sense the sadness in his heart when mothers see the face of kids and know things .

Shraddha first left maika when she ran away with Bobby

then Kunal when Zor gave ultimatum

then Dhruv when Kamini gave ultimatum .

Shraddha is truly a yo yo . Her motherly instincts were always horrible . No self respecting female would have gone ahead with so many problems in the marraige but she did . She put a second marraige and her marital happiness over her kid . If i was Dhruv i would never forgive Shraddha .

And why would Kamini like this proposal , gimme one good reason . Why would she fawn over Shraddha when she could get better proposals than this , when her family treated their side with arrogance . That obnoxious ill mannered Fufi and Zor , how did they treat the groom's side . That Fufa who was even questioning her for bringing 2 extra baraatis , when girl's side even saved money on booking a hall and did a small event in garden . It was her boy's first wedding even if it was their girl's second .

Any groom's mom would feel tremendously cheated and that the girl's family got her good son phokat . Thats the way Indian mentality works .

Kittu was one hell of an oversmart character in MB .

She encouraged her nanand to elope second time by going behind husband and sasural's back

she refused to accept or apologise for her mistake but insisted her husband should ap[ologise instead as he 'misunderstood' her ...when in reality there was nothing to misunderstand , her deeds were sparkling like water

throughout she insulted her mom and refused to understand her pov even once , just focussed on making her place secure in sasural

accused mom and Kunal falsely in Nisha matter

encouraging brother NOW and EBing her mom by treating her like kachra in sasural and sending her away . What respect will Shraddha give as bahu when daughter only treats mom this way .

Kittu's overmartness is prominent in the 'yaar' dialogue with Nisha and telling mom on the phone with her typical oversmart way that u wanted Shraddha without Dhruv na , well here she is coming .

When in truth she should have simply told brother to stay seperate .

Ashish it seems is now growing a pair coz MB is ending and its so sad that growing a pair is equated with ordering his wife to serve Kittu . Actually Ashish could have a seperate track . But no

Kittu and Amrit patronized Jaya . It is sophisticated politics , Kittu wanted the charge position and Amrit wanted free time . It worked fine for Jaya too but she was the buffoon who always said the truth at the wrong time when no one wanted to hear it .

Anand was the best . The original Anand i mean . Very real .Balanced . Unfortunately they made Kunal a yardstick for him , he HAD to be romantic like him , hen pecked like him . Why couldn't he be different . His anger on Kittu was not misplaced , him not wanting his sister to go in Kamini's house was not misplaced too . Anand was butchered and if the show had not ended , the TRPs would have gone on decreasing as MB lost its fl;avour on the way .
