Part 9: I Was Too Quick To Judge You
T: " So, how do u feel now?, Tanvi enquired me.
We were at the dock near the lake at the woods nearby an hour away from our house. It was almost 4pm and two of us were just chilling there. Pakhi couldn't come as she had to go to her office because of some urgent work.
K: " Better than before. This place is calming, she said throwing pebbles in the lake.
T: " If u want me, tell me right now. I will go straight to ur boss and punch his perfect handsome face into some unrecognisable piece of meat.
K: " Haha... shut up angry woman... the next thing that will happen is you behind the bars in prison.
T: " It's worth it... at least i could touch his handsome face... even though for punching...
K: " Eeewww.. shut up..., she said making disgusting face.
Suddenly her handphone rang... It flashed Mr Jerk Boss'...
K: " speaking of the devil... why the hell is he calling me?, she wondered aloud.
T: "who? Ur boss? I mean ur ex-boss?
Kalpi nodded and cut the call.
T: " are you not gonna attend the call?
K: " there's nothing left to talk to...
Her phone kept on ringing and she just cut the call... then she received a message..
From Mr Jerk Boss...
"Miss Kalpana. Take the damn call.
Kalpana narrowed her eyes..
K: " bossy much... jerk...
T: " just attend the call.. lets hear what he has to say after all these..
The phone rang again and Kalpi attended the call.
K: " Hello, she said curtly.
R: " Not tough isn't it? To just press the green button and saying hello.., he said sarcastically.
K: " well... why did u call boss? Nope... Ex-boss..
R: " where r u?
K: " why should i tell you?
Raghav sighed.
R: " i need to talk to u...
K: " well.. if u don't know that, we are talking...
R: " i wanna talk to u in person...
K: " why?
R: " can't u just answer my question without any argument?, he asked irritated.
K: " well.. for ur information, im not ur employee anymore..
R: " kalpana!! Can u tell me where r u right now? (After a pause).. Please..., he said holding his patience.
Kalpana widened her eyes when she heard please from the great Raghav Aryan Patel.
K: " I'm at the dock at xyz...
R: " I'll be there in half an hour...
K: "wait.. i..., before she could continue he cut the call.
Half an hour later...
The black audi car pulled up near the dock. It was raghav's. Prakash came out to open the door for raghav. Before kalpi could react, someone else shouted gaining the attention of the other 3.
T: " W*F!!!, tanvi shouted making raghav and kalpi to frown but prakash grinned widely.
K: " tanvi? What happened?
T: " what the hell he is doing here?
K: " my boss?
T: " no.. that donkey with him!!!, she said pointing her index finger towards prakash.
Pra: " Princess... did u call me donkey? I knew u love me like i love you... thats y ur giving me this cute nicknames..., he said smiling widely.
Kalpi still looked confused while tanvi fumed. Whereas raghav looked at his friend as if he has grown horns.
K: " wait a minute... how do u guys know each other?
Pra: " raghav... i told u about the beautiful princess i saw in the supermarket that day... it's her..
Flashback..
Prakash went to supermarket to buy some groceries... the same supermarket tanvi works as the cashier... it was love at first sight for him..
T: " that would be 1600 rupees..
She glanced up to see prakash staring at her with lovestruck eyes... she cleared her throat but he was nowhere near reality... she snapped her finger inches near his face making him come out of his dreamland...
Pra: " oh yeah.. here.., he said giving the money.
T: " u want anything else sir?
Pra: " yes.. ur number..., he said grinning.
Tanvi boiled in anger.
T: " dude... whatever ur name is...just get the hell out of here..
Pra: "Prakash Ahuja...
T: "what?, she asked confused.
Pra: " my name.. and u r tanvi mittal? It would sound better if tanvi prakash ahuja...he asked looking at her nametag.
T: " off u go before i kick ur balls..., she said narrowing her eyes..
Pra: " i think i love you.., he said with love reflecting in his eyes..
T: " go before i call the cops..., she said bewildered.
After he left,
T: " nutcase..., she mumbled looking at praksh who left after winking his eye.
Flashback ends...
T: " yeah.. he is the nutcase i told you about the other day...
Pra: " u talked about me princess?, he asked eagerly.
T: " stop calling me princess!!! Kalpi , lets go... i dont wanna be at the same place as to where this nutcase is..
R: " excuse me.. wait.. i wanna talk to kalpana...
Kalpana looked helplessly between tanvi and raghav.
T: " fine... half an hour... thats all provided this nutcase never comes near me or talks to me..
Raghav looked at prakash... praksh puted before nodding his head saying yes..
Raghav and kalpi walked near the edge of the dock far from tanvi and prakash... tanvi glared at prakash with her arms crossed against her chest while prakash send all his lovey dovey gestures through his eyes and smiles..
Whereas at the other side..
Kalpi looked at raghav who was trying to tell something from past five minute but failed.
K: " what is it Mr Raghav Aryan Patel?, she asked raising her eyebrows.
R: " i got to know that u didnt tell sammy about the project...
K: " Newsflash... i told u that millionth time before u made me the black sheep the other day.., she said sarcastically.
R: " can u let me talk?, he said.
K: " fine..
R: " well.. yeah.. sammy told me u didnt tell him..
K: " u know u r repeating the same thing right?
Raghav stuck his tongue inside his left cheek.
R: " i know.. well, i came to say that u can have ur job back.. u know.. because now i know u didnt tell sammy..
K: " FYI.. u didnt fire me.. i quitted.. "
R: " yeah i know.. but.. u know.. u know why.., he struggled with his words.
K(in mind): " hardheaded man.. is it so hard for him to accept his mistake and apologise?, she thought in her mind..
K: " im listening...
Raghav rolled his eyes before sighing..
R: " i was too quick to judge you.. ok? So u can get ur job back.., he said rising his voice.
It was so hard for him to apologise because he had never done that before. Kalpi clearly enjoyed his struggles and hard time to keep her mouth tight from smiling.
K: " u know what? Just say that word.. it's simple..
Raghav looked here and there struggling. Kalpi sighed...
K: " u know what? Forget it... its getting late.. bye..., she turned around and started walking towards tanvi.
R: " SORRY!!!, he said loud enough for her to hear.
Kalpi stopped in her tracks and grinned before turning back to raghav.
K: " see... it's not that hard.., she said smiling.
Raghav rolled his eyes irritated.
R: " fine.. im sorry... it was my fault.. you can have ur job back if u want it.., he said wiping his face with his palms.
K: " i will think about it.., she said smiling.
Raghav nodded and left the place... kalpi stood there and grinned like a child in candy shop...
K: " The great Raghav Aryan Patel apologised.. to me... wow...
