Kalpi Turned to her Side Where Her Lamp was In Use Recalling Ashok's Words,She Tugged On Her Pink Comforter And Smiled when Raghav Had Stood For Her. "That Moron" She Grumbles with a Soft Smile.
After a Few Minutes Kalpi Remembered She Was Supposed To Call Her Father Before She Went To Bed. As She Reached Her Hands out to Her Phone. The Screen Lit Up With Vitthal's Name. "Baba..." She Said with a Smile and Sat Up Hugging Her Pillow.
"Hello Baba!?" Kalpi said In Excitement as She Answered Her Cell. Vitthal Smiled Across The Other Line Hearing His Daughter's Voice,How Happy She Had Sound. "Kalpi,Beta How Are You!! Are You Alright??" He asked In Concern,Kalpi Giggled at His Tone and Nodded "Yes Baba,I am Okay."
"Okay Where Are You Now? Are You Safe? Did Raghav Hurt You?" Vitthal said In A Serious Tone,Kalpi Slightly Shook Her Head In Annoyance at Her Father's Words. "Baba I am In Bed,Gauri Aunty Gave Me a Guest Room and Raghav Did Not Hurt Me,Why Would He?" Kalpi Replied Calmly,Vitthal Remained Silent At Hearing her Voice and Sighed "I'm Sorry,I Just Miss You,I am Bored Without You. What About Our Milk and Cookies Before Bed??" Vitthal said with a Frown.
Kalpi Listened Sadly To Her Father's Dejected Tone . "Baba,It's Just One Day,I will Be Back Home Tomorrow,I Promise and You Have Pakya Dada with You,Just Don't Let Him Eat All My Cookies!" Kalpi said With a Smile,She Heard Her Father's Chuckling On the Other Line. "Alright,Take Care My Rajkumari and make Sure To Keep an Eye On Raghav! he Muttered. "Okay Baba,Good Night Sweet Dreams,I Love You" Kalpi said With Sincerity and Ended the Call.
She Laid Back In Bed Turning On Her Side Where Her Lamp Was,She Held Up Her Phone and Stared at The Background Wallpaper. A Picture Of Her and Raghav When They Visited The Theme Park,A Small Smile Graced Her Lips As She Remembered The Night Dozing off Into Slumber.

Raghav Ran His Fingers Through His hair In Frustration as He Looked at His Mother's Stern Face. She Was Utterly Upset About His Behavior at The Dinner Table,Even With Kalpi As Their Guest,Yes Kalpi Had Been Practically Family,But She Was Still A Guest Staying At Their Residence,She Was Absolutely Embarrassed At His Entire Behavior .
"Don't Watch Me Like that Mom! I Did What Was Right!" Raghav Spat In Annoyance. Gauri Sighed Frustratedly at Her Son's Words. "Right? Raghav!! You Could've Hit Your Father With That Table Knife!" Gauri Shouted Sternly Staring at Raghav who was Unaffected With Her Words.
"Raghav Look at Me!" Gauri Muttered In Annoyance,At Her Furious Tone,Raghav Looked Up at His Mother with a Smug Grin. "Take That Grin off Your Face!" She Shouted Angrily. She Walked Over to Raghav And Sighed In Frustration "You Need to Apologize to Your Father!"
"Mom!!" Raghav Shouted,Completely Disagreeing with her Words.
"That's It and It's Final! You Will Talk to Your Father With Respect!" Gauri said With a Serious Tone,Raghav Glanced Away From Her And Rose off The Chair In Annoyance . He Looked Back at His Mother Before He Took Another Step To Move Forward. "I Will Do No Such Thing,He Humiliated My Friend and I Will Not Apologize!" Raghav Muttered Bitterly,Clenching His Fists, Struggling For Control.
Gauri Stared at Him Dumbfounded at His Words. "Raghav!!" Gauri called Out to Him as He Begun to walk out of The Room,Gauri Followed Behind Raghav While Ashok Watched On From His Study Door. "You Have too! He Is Your Father!!"
"NO MOM,I WILL NOT,DID YOU NOT HEAR ME!!??" Raghav snapped back Bitterly,His Face Darkened In Anger. Raghav Stared at His Mother's Shocked Face and Walked Away In Annoyance. Ashok From Afar Gripped His Chest In Agony Glimpsing Raghav and Gauri's Argument,Due to His Foolish Behavior.

Raghav Filled With Rage Strolled Down the Corridors Of His Mansion,He Walked Pass The Guest Room and Stopped. Kalpi Had Came to Mind Knowing She Was Resting In that Room. He Quietly Open The Door Staring at Kalpi,How She Slept So Peacefully,He Knew Where She Lived,In Their Family Chawl,She Probably Never Slept On A Master Bed With Proper and Soft Bedspreads. He Knew She Never Had That Much Luxury.
Raghav Then Walked Over to her Quietly,His Eyes Lingering On Her Sleeping Form,He Shook His Head Noticing she Left Her Bed Side Lamp On. Raghav Stooped In Front Of her Resting His Palm On Her Cheek,He Felt The Warmth Of Her Skin and Smiled ."Even When you're Sleeping You are Annoying" He Mumbles with a smile. "Kalpi..." He said Softly,Tenderly Shaking Her From Sleep. "Come On,Get Up" He Said Tucking Her Bangs Away. "Kalpi!" He Repeated and Jerked Her. Slowly Kalpi Opened Her Weary Eyes Staring at a Smiling Raghav.
"Raghav? You are here? Isn't Late?" Kalpi Said Tiredly,She Rubbed Her Tired eyes and a Yawn left Her as She Sat Up Hugging Her Knees. "It's Our Last Few Days Before The Semester Starts,let's Spend Some Time Together Before Our Days Are Over." Raghav said with a Gleeful smile,He sat On the Bed Smiling at Her Weary Face Resting His Chin on Her Knee.
"Come On,Don't Be a Spoil Sport!" He Whined ,Kalpi Stared at Him with a Frown and Nodded Slowly "Okay.." She said Softly,Raghav Heard the Tiredness In Her Voice and Cupped Her Cheek Tenderly "Can You Walk?" He asked softly,He smiled as Kalpi Nodded at His Words. "Don't Bother.." He said and Kalpi Raised Her Hands To Him and He Wrapped His Hand Around Her Waist Throwing Her Over His Shoulder.

The Laughter Of Two Best Friends Mingled as they lay Together On the Fur Rug In the Family Room.,They Have Been Laughing and Teasing Each Other Over An Hour,Catching Up On So Many Thing They Missed Together.
"So,How Many Girls Have You kissed In The Year?" Kalpi asked With Curiosity Beaming Through Her Eyes. "Does Suhana Know??" She Teased Him And Laughed With Him Despite Her Tiredness.At Her Words Raghav Glance Down at Her In Pure Annoyance.
"No and I Would Never Kiss Another Girl Being With Suhana" Raghav said With Sincerity a Touch of Love Beaming Through His Eyes. "Oh? That Powerful Your Love Is?" Kalpi Mocked Him With a Wink Poking Her Tongue Out at Him. "Why You Little!!!" Raghav Grabbed Hold Of Kalpi's Wrist Before She Could Scamper Away From Him. He Straddled Her Pinning Her Hands Down Beside Her Head Having a Sneer On His lips. "Can't Run Now Can You?' He said Tightening His Grip On Her Wrist.
Kalpi Looked Up at Raghav Innocently,Grinning at Him. "Why? Can You Not Take Talks?" She Said Bursting Into Laughter. "I can.." He Replied Promptly As He Tilts His Head Closer to Hers. Kalpi Swallowed Hardly When His Gaze Never Left Hers. "You're Scared,What If I Do Something.." He said with a Smug Smile. "You Won't! You're A Baby..." She Said Softly Biting Her Lip.
Raghav Brow Arched At Her Words. "You Trust Me That Much?" Raghav asked, Kalpi Stared at Him And Nodded slightly. He Leaned In Closer To Her But As He Opened His Mouth To Say Something Their Gazes Clash With An Unknown Connection,Raghav Could Not Stop Staring Into The Eyes Of Kalpi,Her Brown Innocent Eyes, The Gentle Flurry of Air From The Cool AC Ruffled Her Hair Slightly Off Her Face.
For a Little Moment,In His Own World Raghav Was Lost In Her Eyes,Holding their Gaze. "You Are Annoying.." He Muttered Breaking His Trance As He Moved Of Her. "Don't Worry,I Would Not Do Anything To You,I'd Never Hurt Suhana Like That" He Said Calmly Lying Back.
Kalpi Stared at Him in Stunned Quietness and Rolled Over to Her Side, Her Beaming Smile Slowly Faded Away.
Kalpi Was Never Jealous Of Suhana,She Had No Reason To Be,People Were Jealous Of Her Knowing How Protective and Caring Raghav Had Become With Her. Though Suhana Was The Prettiest Girl Around,Fair In Beauty,She Had Perfect Scores,Perfect Smile, Perfect Body. She Knew Raghav Would Eventually Fall For Someone Like Suhana. She Knew Her Best Friend Will Love Someone One Day. But In The Four Weeks Of Vacationing Together She Figured Raghav and Suhana Had A Tiff and Had Not Spoken To Each Other,Suhana Had Left India and Vacationed In Europe Along With Her Family and Paakhi , But She Probably Had Thought Wrong,The Way Raghav Had Spoken About Being Romantic With only Suhana Had Made Her Believe She Was Entirely Wrong.
Kalpi Slightly Jerked When She Felt Raghav Pinching Under Her Feet. "Hey,You've Turn Silent Movie On Me!" He Said Staring at Kalpi's Back. He Sighed Hearing Another Yawn From Her,Kalpi Had Been Tired Whenever She Spent Time With Raghav,He Had Tire Her Out With Everything They Did Together,Things He Would Never Do With Suhana That Made His Heart Filled With Joy.
"Raghav I am Sleepy Now,Can I sleep?" Kalpi Asked Tiredly Looking Back at Him Heavy-Eyed and Yawning ,Raghav Looked At Her With a Frown and Nodded In a Half Hearted Attempt. "Go On and Sleep You Annoying Freak.." He Muttered.
At His Words Kalpi Turned To Her Side and Slowly Fell Into Slumber With Raghav a Few Inches Beside Her,He Leaned Closer to her Resting His Hand On Her Warm Bare Arm Glancing Her Innocent Face With a Smile. The Healthy Glow In Her Cheeks Gave Her An Aura Of Innocence and Purity Raghav Always Wanted To Protect From Everyone and Everything Who Was Vile. He Traced His Finger Along Her Jaw Line Brushing Her Wispy Bangs Away from Her Cheeks,His Eyes Intense with Focus Lingered On Her Soft Pale Face,He Saw How Pretty and Grown Up She Looked.
"Good Night Kalpi" He Whispered and Tenderly Kissed Her On Her Head. He Then leans Back With a Heavy Sigh Resting His Hands Behind His Back Going Into Thoughts Of His Own.
A Few Minutes After Midnight Gauri Walked Downstairs for a Glass Of Water,As she passed the Living Room She Saw a Light On In the Family Room. She Walked Towards The Room and Her Eyes fell On a Sleeping Raghav and Kalpi On the Fur Rug. They Were Inches Apart Sleeping In the Same Position. Gauri Stood Eyes-Wided In Awe. "Where's My Camera! Darn It!" She Quickly left The Room And Left For Her Camera In Her Husband's Study. Gauri Quickly Made her Way Back to the Family Room With a Smile,She Stood Admiring Raghav and Kalpi while Taking Out Little Snaps Of Their Sleeping Moment.
She Froze In Her Spot Watching On as Raghav Stirred In His Sleep,Hands Sliding Around Kalpi's Waist,His Hand Resting On Her Exposed Skin Of Her Pajama Vest ,He Felt a Pleasant Warmth Of Her Skin as He Fell Back Into Slumber. She Watched On as He Snuggled Up to Kalpi resting His Head On Her Neck. Settling Into A Warm, Comfortable Position.
A Gasp left Gauri at Their Position. "Crap! Where's My Video Camera!!" She Muttered and Left Quickly. As Gauri Came Back,Raghav and Kalpi Were Still In their Position,She Quickly Videoed Them and Took Another Set Of Snaps In Awe Of How Cute They Had Look Together. Gauri Knew The Perfect Girl For Raghav was Kalpi and She Desired for Them to Fall In Love. "Aww,How Cute,How Beautiful" She said Wiping Her Tears as She Took Her Last Snaps.
"Gauri..." Gauri Froze In Her Spot Upon Hearing Her Name,She Looked Back at Her Husband with a Nervous Smile. As He Stepped Forward Into the Room His Eyes Fell On a Sleeping Raghav and Kalpi. "There Are So Cute.." She said with a Small Wrapping her Hands Around Her Husband's Arm,He Looked Down at Her Amusingly. "You Like This? Raghav and Kalpana Beti?" He said with a Smile. Gauri Nodded at His Words.
"Alright,Leave them Now,It's Late,Let's Go To Bed Now" He said and Gestured Gauri to Leave. Just As She Left With a Happy Smile,Ashok Looked Down at Kalpi and Raghav Intently,He Dimmed the Lights and Left the Room with a Heavy Sigh.
