PART 5(last part)
S: " raghav.. Raghav.. Wake up..", he woke up raghav who was sleeping..
Raghav opened his eyes slowly.. His eyes were read as he didnt sleep well yesterday night..
S: " go and get ready.. We all will be having breakfast together..", he said while combing his hair.
Raghav nodded wordlessly and went to the bathroom before closing the door.. Sammy stared at the closed door frowning..
After two hours, both the families gathered around the long breakfast table for breakfast.. Anamika sat beside raghav and said good morning to him with a wide smile for which he replied formally.. Throughout the breakfast, all were chatting excitedly about the marriage that is going to be held that evening.. But raghav seemed to be more quiet than usual.. He just gave a monotonous reply of 'yes' and 'no'.. His breakfast were rarely touched..
S: " what happened?", he whispered near his ear..
Raghav stared at him for a while before nodding his head in no..
Ani: " so, raghav.. To where should i book ur honeymoon tickets to?", he asked making others laugh while anamika blushed..
But his words fell on deaf ears as for raghav.. He was not in this world.. Sammy nudged him by his elbow making him come to the reality..
T: " looks like raghav already dreaming about the honeymoon..", his babhi, tanya teased..
Ana: " di!! Dont tease him.."
M: " of course raghav will choose Norway.."
Her words made him look at her..
They all engaged in the talks while he remembered their past..
Flashback..
K: " so, lets just say we are married.. Where will we go for honeymoon?", she asked sitting between his legs while his arms around her shoulders..They were looking at the full moon at the balcony of her room..
R: " anywhere u choose..", he said placing his chin on the top of her head..
K: " hmmm.. Let me think.. Hmmm.. Haan.. Norway.. We will go to norway.."
R: " norway.", he asked raising his eyebrows..
K: " kyun? U dont like norway?"
R: " but baby norway has longer morning than night.. And honeymoon... Its ok.. Instead of golden night, we celebrate golden mornings..", he said pouting..
K: " raghav tum bhi nah..", she said leaning more on his chest..
Flashback ends...
On the other side...
Kalpi was still inside her room.. She didnt come out of her room.. Prem came to the house.. Diya told him that kalpi is not coming out of the room.. So, prem went and knocked the door..
Pr: " kalpi.. Open the door..", diya and prem pleaded her from the last three hours..
They sat on the chairs near her room exhausted.. Finally the door crept open..
Diya hugged kalpi.. Kalpi released herself from the hug and went towards her bed and lied there.. Her dad is not there yet.. But he will be back after few hours.. Prem and diya looked at each other sadly.. They could see her face swollen and red due to continuous crying.. They are very sure that she didnt sleep whole night as her eyes were puffy and red.. The duo went towards her..diya sat on the bed while prem kneeled down to face her..
Pr: " are u ok kalpi?", he asked caressing her head fondly..
Kalpi didnt answer but just stared at him...Kalpi raised and sat straight..
After three more hours.. Evening came..
Raghav was sitting on the bed tracing his fingers on his wedding sherwani.. Sammy was looking at his changed behaviour since morning.. Finally, breaking the silence,
S: " raghav, if u wanna call off the wedding, do it.. Nobody is gonna stop u..", he finally said..
Raghav looked at him surprised..
Sammy sat beside raghav..
S: " u still can't forget her? U still love her.. So, don't destroy three lives with this marriage.. I know u must be wondering why im talking like this.. Uff... I only want ur happiness.. And if ur happiness is with kalpi, pls call off this marriage.. Its not yet late...", he said placing an assuring hand on raghav's shoulder..
Raghav bowed his head and gave a thought.. But, the scene her breaking the relationship for simple matters raised anger in him.. He shrugged sammy's hand off his shoulder before moving to the mirror with the sherwani.. Sammy looked at him confused..
R: " she told me nah.. She doesnt want me in her life.. And I DONT WANT HER IN MY LIFE..", saying so he started wearing the sherwani and get ready for the marriage..
Kalpi's dad, vitthal came back home.. He enquired prem and diya about her whereabouts.. They managed by saying she is sleeping because she had headache.. Then the duo came back to her room..
D: " kalpi.. Talk something.. Im scared with ur silence.. Pls talk..", she said shaking her by her shoulder..
Kalpi burst into tears.. She hugged diya.. Diya looked at prem and then consoled her..Diya made her lie on her lap and caressed her head fondly..
D: " kalpi.. Ssshhh.. Everything will be fine...", but she didnt stop crying..
K: " di, he is someone else's now.. He would have been married by now..", she said sobbing...
Prem went and sat beside diya..
Pr: " kalpi.. We cant change whatever happened.."
K: " he is someone else's husband now.. I lost him forever..", she kept repeating the same thing..
Prem went and closed the door so that vitthal cant hear the sound..
Diya sighed..
D: " kalpi.. He is married and everything ended.. Stop thinking about him all the time..", she said frustratingly..
K: " i love him.. I love him di..", she cried..
Diya was about to say something but prem hold her hand nodding in no.. He signalled her to let kalpi pour her pain..
K: " u know prem.. It is all my fault.. He was right.. Im such an emotional fool.. I let my ego to overpower me..", she said looking at prem teary eyed..
Prem nodded saying he know..
K: " and.. And every time i make mistake, he will be saying sorry although it is not his fault.."
Pr: " i know.."
K: " he sacrificed a lot for me.. But what i gave him in return?", she asked looking at diya..
K: " i just gave him pain.. It was all my fault.. And now i want to say sorry to him.. I wanna beg for his forgiveness.. But its too late.. There's no use of regretting now.. He is someone else's..", she sobbed hard..
Prem hugged her tightly as it was very hard for him to see his sister all broken.. Kalpi broke the hug..
K: " he hates me.. And.. And.. U all will hate me too nah? Nobody loves me.. Prem.. Di.. U will hate me too nah?", she asked..
D: " no kalpi.. We will never hate u.. We love u.."
K: " he said the same.. He said he will never stop loving me.. But he did stopped loving me.. And its not his fault.. I made him hate me.. I bloody responsible for all this.."
Pr: " kalpi.. He left u to marry another girl.. He has forgotten u!! So, why the hell u keep crying for that person? Move on in ur life..", he said frustrated..
K: " i cant.. I.. I cant.."
Prem closed his eyes to calm himself..
D: " kalpi... How long will u cry like this? You didnt even eat since past two days.. If u keep doing like this, u will die.."
K: " let me die.."
Pr: " u say that again, i wont be the same prem.. I myself will kill u by my hands..", he said angrily..
D: " prem..", she called him asking him to stay calm as it will only increase kalpi's pain..
Pr: " tomorrow we are going to US.. U will forget him.. Time is the best medicine for every pain.."
K: " i dont wanna forget him nor i want this pain to go.. I want this pain to be with me.. Always.. To remind me of what i lost.."
After an hour,
They all sat silently with only the sounds of her sobbing.. She was lying on diya's lap and crying..
Suddenly, someone knocked the door.. Diya and prem looked at each other fearing it might be their dad.. Prem said he will go and open.. He opened the door and was left shocked with wide eyes..
Pr: " raghav..", was the only word left his mouth.. Raghav walked pass him into the room..
Diya was also shocked to see him.. Raghav looked at kalpi who was still not aware of his presence and sobbing on her di's lap...
Pr: " raghav what are u doing here?", he asked loud enough to be heard by kalpi..
Hearing his name, kalpi raised from her di's lap and looked at him..
D: " raghav, dad.. Dad was downstairs.. Did he see u?", but he didnt answer and kept staring at kalpi..
Kalpi could see him in groom avatar.. He was wearing a red sherwani with golden decorations made on it.. But, his eyes only showed rage..
K: " ra..", before she could say his name,
R: " DONT SAY MY NAME!!", he gritted in anger and fresh tears rolled down her cheeks which were already red due to crying..
Pr: " raghav, she is already hurt.. Pls don't punish her more.. So, pls leave before vitthal uncle sees u.."
He gave a deadly glare towards prem before making way towards kalpi.. He grabbed her wrist and made her stand up forcefully..
D: " raghav, what are u doing? If dad sees.."
R: " what he will do? Let me see what he do..", saying so he dragged kalpi downstairs..
R: " mr jadhav!! Mr jadhav!!", he shouted..
Diya and prem rushed behind him and they could see raghav's family, his three friends and anamika standing there as well...
Hearing noise from the living hall, vitthal came out.. He frowned seeing a lot of unknown faces there.. He identified raghav as he is raghav singhania, the most successful young businessman.. But he looked confused as raghav was gripping his daughter's hand and she was crying..
V: " mr raghav singhania.. U r here? What happened?", he asked with his eyes still on kalpi who was crying bitterly..
Diya walked towards her dad..
D: " dad.. Its nothing.. U go and rest.."
R: " I WAS YOUR DAUGHTER'S BOYFRIEND MR JADHAV..", he said shocking vitthal..
V: " what?", he muttered in confusion..
Pr: " uncle its nothing..", saying so he grabbed his hand and tried to take him inside but vitthal shrugged his hands and went towards raghav..
V: " kalpana what's happening here?", he asked sternly..
K: " dad..", she just managed to utter the single word before glancing at raghav..
R: " she wont tell u.. Let me tell u the truth..", he said to vitthal..
V: " first of all, leave my daughter's hand..", he gritted his teeth..
Raghav sighed..
R: " fine..", saying so he left her..
Kalpi hugged diya while prem stand near him..
V: " now tell me ur reason being here..", he said coldly..
R: " my reason? Well, i want to see her face.. Her crying face and to tell her how much i hate her..", his words pierced her heart..
She looked at him hurt but he stood there emotionless..
V: " how can u and kalpana related? Ur marriage is today right?", he said looking at anamika..
R: " yeah, i came here straight after my marriage..", he said calmly making her cry more with the thought he is married..
R: " and one more thing.. U wanna know what relation ur daughter and i shared nah? So let me explain to u.. We were in relationship for more than ten years.. Hmmm... If im not mistaken, since we were 15... Am i right kalpana?", he asked her making vitthal glare at kalpi.. She closed her eyes..
R: " but how can i expect u to know? Because for u only business matters.. U think that with money u can give happiness to ur children... But not for once u tried to know what's in ur daughter's heart..", vitthal bowed his head in guilt..
R: " because of u and ur wrong uprising she is standing here like this in this situation... She doesnt know how to value relations.. Just like u.. Ur uprising is totally wrong mr jadhav... She is completely a stubborn and egoistic person.. She only cares about her own self.. She doesnt know how to compromise or to think about others feelings.. She has such flaws just because of u mr jadhav..", he said all with his eyes staring at her broken form without blinking his eyes..
She dropped on the ground and cried holding her her chest...
R: " cry.. Cry hard.. I feel so happy seeing u like this.. Im happy that i returned the same pain u gave me year ago.. Pls cry kalpana..", he said smirking..
S: " raghav, what are u doing?", he came there asking as he felt so bad seeing her crying like that..
R: " let me talk to her sammy..", he said in an unaffected tone..
He took steps towards her and made her stand up before dragging her towards anamika...
R: " look at her..", he said tilting her to see anamika by holding her cheeks roughly..
Anamika felt bad seeing kalpi crying as well..
R: " the girl i married..", she looked at him silently sobbing..
R: " why are u quite? Aren't u happy? U came to congratulate me in my engagement? R u not happy now?", he questioned her for which she shook her head negatively while her eyes tightly shut..
R: " u might wonder why i married her kalpana.. Because she is exactly opposite to u!! She is matured.. She thinks about others feelings before taking any decision.. She never feel insecure.. She never doubt my love.. She never ever hurt me.. And she always want my happiness.. U never knew all these nah?", he taunted her while she struggled to free herself from his grip..
Vitthal felt bad as his wrong uprising is the reason for his daughter's condition..
V: " i said dont touch my daughter ragahv singhania..", he shouted making others to look at him..
Raghav smirked..
R: " i cant touch her? Well, mr jadhav u r so blind.. U know what? I have been to ur house a lot of times..", he said coolly making all to look at him shocked except sammy, pakhi, maya and yeah kalpi..
R: " i always use the pipe to climb up to her room..", he said chuckling..
R: " and for ur kind information, ur daughter and i spent countless nights together in her room even when u r home.."
V: " kalpana, what the hell all this?", he scolded her furiously..
Kalpana hide her face in shame and cried dropping on the floor near ragahv's legs...
V: " how dare u!!", he said looking at raghav murderously..
R: " look.. I have more to talk to her.. U can ask her all those questions later.."
R: " kalpana..", he called her making her to look at him...
R: " hmm.. Where i was? Yeah.. Anamika is far better that u r... She has no flaws like u..", kalpi turned her head away as she couldn't stand the humiliations..
Raghav continued,
R: " i hate u kalpana.. I hate u the most in the world.. I hate u.. I hate myself for still loving a girl like u..", he said coldly and left the place...
Kalpi looked at his retreating form confused..
K(in mind) : " still? Still loving a girl like u?", his words echoed in her ears..
Anamika kneeled down before her and tilt her head to look at her..
Ana: " we are not married yet..", her statement made kalpi gasp..
S: " he still loves u kalpi..", sammy said while his family and pakhi and maya smiled at her..
K: " ho.. How.. He..", she was left flabbergasted..
Pakhi told her what happened..
Flashback..
The wedding hall was full of ppl from corporate world and media who were capturing the wedding moments of the businessman, Raghav Singhania..Raghav was seated in the mandap.. Pakhi and maya brought anamika to the mandap as well.. All were happy but raghav was not happy even when he tried.. Anamika sat beside ragahv.. But he didnt even spare her a single glance.. She placed her hand on his hand making him look at her..
She raised her eyebrow asking what happened.. He nodded saying nothing and removed his hand from anamika's.. Anamika frowned seeing the change in his behaviour but brushed off the thoughts thinking he is tensed about the marriage..
Soon, the pandit asked the groom and bride to take seven rounds around the holy fire.. Raghav sat there with bowed head.. Suraj kneeled down near ragahv and asked him to stand up to do the seven rounds around the holy fire.. Ragahv nodded wordlessly and stood up to complete the ritual..
They made rounds around the holy fire with their family and friends blessing them.. They completed the sixth round... When the pandit asked them to complete the seventh round to make them husband and wife, raghav stood still like a statue... He was fighting with inner turmoil.. His brain was telling him to complete the round but his heart was just chanting her name; his kalpi's name.. He looked down here and there...
His family and friends asked him to complete the last round but something stopped him from doing so.. He looked at them helplessly.. Ppl started murmuring amongst themselves.. Anamika went and hold his hand making him to look at her..
Ana: " raghav, r u ok?", she asked concerned..
R: " no..", he said shaking his head in no..
A single tear slipped from his eye..
Ana: " u still love her?", she asked..
He looked at her surprised.. He couldn't answer her.. He just clsoed his eyes tightly..
Ana: " u love her.. U love kalpana ragahv..", she answered her own question..
Not able to hide his feelings, he nodded his head in yes...
Ana: " then go to her buddy..", she said giving a sad smile..
Raghav looked at her surprised..
Ana: " dont worry about me.. I will be ok..", she said giving a kind smile..
R: " thank u.. Thank you so much anamika..", he said hugging her..
All looked at them confused.. Anamika announced that this wedding is called off.. Their family questioned their decision.. Anamika made them understand that ragahv only loves kalpana.. At last, all agreed with their decision.. After that, raghav rushed to see kalpi.. He vented out his anger he had for her..
Flashback ends..
Kalpi smiled in tears.. She couldnt believe her fate..
Ana: " go.. Get ur man girl..", she said smiling..
Kalpi hugged anamika and said thank you..
She stood up to go out when vitthal grabbed her wrist..
V: " kalpi.. What are u doing? U have to answer my questions..", he said strictly..
K: " dad..", she pleaded..
Pr: " uncle, let us explain.. Pls let her go.."
D: " pls dad.. Let her go..", vitthal released her hand..
Kalpi without waiting ran outside.. It was raining heavily.. She looked around to find him.. And she saw him standing in the rain drenched with his back facing her.. He was cooling his emotions drenching under the rain..
She took slow steps towards him... She didnt bother getting drenched under the rain.. As soon as she reach near him, she hugged him tightly from behind...
K: " im sorry.. Im really very sorry ragahv.. I admit i was wrong.. I was wrong.. I hurt u a lot.. Im sorry..", she cried hugging him from behind..
He didnt say anything and stood still..
K: " raghav.. Pls punish me.. Scold me.. But dont hate me.. I cant see hatred for me in ur eyes.. Pls.. Im sorry..", raghav slowly removed her hands from him and turned to face her..
K: " raghav..", she said softly regretting her wrong..
Raghav pulled her roughly making her face hit his chest.. Then, he hugged her closely leaving no space..
K: " im sorry...", she cried near his chest..
R: " ssshhh... Its ok..", saying so he kissed the top of her head...
K: " no.. I was wrong.. Completely wrong im sorry raghav.."
Raghav kept saying its ok but she kept blabbering that she is sorry.. Frustrated by her continuous sorries, he pulled away from the hug and stared at her annoyed..
K: " raghav.. Pls.. Im sor.."
Before she could finish, raghav crushed his lips on hers.. They kissed passionately showing how much they love each other... They pulled apart..
K: " u dont hate me nah?"
R: " no..", he said smiling..
K: " u accepted my sorry?"
R: " yes..", he said chuckling..
After a moment of silence..
R: " i love you baby...", he said..
Kalpi smiled at him widely..
K: " i love u too my love..".
And they kissed again.. They were kissing hungrily.. The others came out searching for them.. They looked away embarrassed seeing these to kissing each other in the rain like there's no tomorrow..
S: " raghav!! Should i get an umbrella for u two?", he shouted from the entrance..
Kalpi and raghav pulled apart.. They were so embarrassed being caught kissing each other.. Kalpi hide her face on raghav's chest while raghav smiled and bite his lower lip before hugging her back...
And they lived happily ever after.. ( man, this sentence sounds like disney story..lol...)
