Raghav halted the car near the hospital...carried her in his arms..." Doctor...it's an emergency..." Raghav shouted...A doctor came and took her for check up...after some time doctor came out...Raghav approached him..."Doctor...is she fine?" Raghav asked with a voice filled with concern...
"Mr. Singhania...I..I need to talk to her family member.." Doctor said in tension..."Her family is in India...You can tell it to me...just don't worry about money...nothing should happen to her..." Raghav said with equal tension for Kalpi...
"Mr. Singhania...her leg...there was an injury with glass and..and a piece of glass is still there and on top of that she gave a lot of pressure on it because of which the glass piece has caused deep cuts and infection has increased a lot...I think we will have to amputate her leg if she does not gain consciousness in coming seven hours..." Doctor said explaining Kalpi's condition to Raghav...
"What!" Raghav said in shock..." How is this possible..." Raghav said in disbelief...
Sammy and Pakhi also came there once Raghav have informed them about Kalpi..."Where is Kalpi?" Pakhi asked from Raghav..."she..she" Raghav couldn't complete his sentence...This aroused tension in Pakhi's mind..."Sir please tell clearly...where is kalpi?? She ia fine na...oh god..." Pakhi said...
"Doctor said if she will not gain consciousness in next seven hours then they'll have to amputate her leg as the infection due to the injury is very much..."Raghv explained kalpi's condition to Pakhi...
"What!" Said Sammy who was a silent spectator by then... " but how did she come to this state...I saw her in the morning...she had lil pain but all was good..."
On hearing this Raghav bowed his head...Sammy came to know the exact reason for it now... He was not surprised with this act of Raghav now but he was quite surprised with the fact that Raghav was feeling guilty about his actions...
"Well...that's interesting..." Sammy whispered to himself...
Raghav went inside the ward while Sammy was standing out consoling a worried Pakhi.. Raghav was feeling even more guiltier on seeing Kalpana lying unconscious on the bed..
"Miss Jadhav...get up...you need to complete the Mehta's file..." Raghav said looking at Kalpana... " I said GET UP...I am your boss and you need to follow my orders..."
"Please get up...I can't have the guilt of your amputated leg..."
"I promise... you'll be back on your feet...I promise you that..."
Saying so Raghav left...he came out holding his phone that he had dialled to the country's best surgeon..." You need to come as soon as possible...I don't know anything else..." Raghav said...
He then towards Pakhi who was peeping inside through the the glass window of the room..."She will be fine...I have talked to the best surgeon of the country and he will be here in no time..." Raghav said to assure Pakhi but somewhere he was trying to assure himself...
The doctor and his team arrived in no time and Kalpi's operation was successfully carried out...
The doctor came out of operation threatre and Pakhi rushed to him to ask about Kalpi and her health...
"We were able to save her legs but she needs a strict bed rest for at least a week and then few precautions and she will be perfectly hopping on her legs..." Doctor said with a warm smile that soothed Pakhi and the most disturbed soul on this planet...Raghav.
"Oh shoot!" Pakhi exclaimed upon realising the grave mistake she had done...
"What happened Pakhi?" Sammy asked in concern...
"I forgot to tell about this whole hospital thing to Prem...he must be waiting for Kalpi on the dinner..." Pakhi said clearing out the haze that was created with her one exclamation.
But it somewhere didn't clear the turbidity...it aroused questions..."who's Prem?" Sammy asked when he sensed the tension created on the mentioned name in Raghav's mind...
"Prem is my first cousin and Kalpi and mine best friend especially Kalpi's..." Pakhi said still trying to clear out the haze.." I must call him...I'll be back in a minute..." Pakhi said excusing herself after gathering all the strength to bear Prem's wrath of not telling him about such a big thing...
"Hello Prem...Pakhi here" Pakhi said on the phone while her heart thudding in her chest...
"Pakhi...where is Kalpi...I'm waiting for her for an hour..." Prem said in a complaining tone not knowing what the destiny had already done.
"She-she...Ka-Kalpi..." Pakhi fumbled for words...
"Pakhi...Is everything alright? Where is Kalpi? I wanna talk to her...now" Prem said as he sensed the worry in Pakhi's tone.
"Ka-Kalpi is in hospital...she had an infection in her wounded leg but don't worry operation is done and she's all good...just unconscious due the effects of the medications...I'm really sorry...I forgot to tell you...I'm so sorry..." Pakhi said apologetically...
"I'm coming." Saying so Prem grabbed his care keys and rushed to the hospital...
After some time...
Prem reached to the hospital and rushed to Kalpi's ward...she saw Pakhi with two men with unfamiliar but known faces were standing..."Where is Kalpi...I wanna see her..." Prem said with fear in his eyes...
"Doctors has just now shifted her in the ward from the OT and after some checkups we will be allowed to see her." Pakhi informed Prem about the latest development.
"Anyone of you can meet her...she has gained her consciousness but be careful that she doesn't stress herself much..." Saying so the doctor went away...
Raghav so badly wanted to see her...apologise to her...he moved from his position to go inside but since Prem was nearer to the door...he rushed inside...
Seeing this Raghav stopped...felt liking killing this so called Kalpi's best friend...but then stopped himself which made to form a fist...Sammy saw this and went near him and put his hand on his shoulder...trying to console him that made him lossen his fist...
He went near the glass window and peeped inside where he saw a smiling Kalpi...her hand perfectly placed in Prem's...he so wanted to be at Prem's place...
"Kalpi...you know what...you look better when you speak...I don't at all like that silent Kalpi who is more like a silent movie." Prem said with a wide smile on his face.
"Haww...you're calling me silent movie..." Saying so Kalpi smacked on Prem's chest which caused her to wince in pain...
"Ouch..." Kalpi exclaimed that gained Prem's attention apart from his small pain in his chest due to smacking...
"Kalpi...you ok? Shall I call the doctor? Why did you budge from your place? See it's paining now...I'm really sorry...it's coz of me...I'm sorry Kalpi...I'm really very sorry." Prem said in a worried tone while his eyes were fixed on Kalpi's injured leg.
"Prem I'm fine...and don't blame yourself...someone else is to be blamed for my condition." Kalpi said thinking about everything Raghav had done with her that had led her to this condition.
"Kalpi...whom are you talking about?" Prem asked in confusion.
"No one...just forget it." Kalpi said as she doesn't even want to take Raghav's name.
"Ok...you rest now...I'm just outside...if you need something...you know whom you have to call?" Prem said getting up from the chair and placed a peck on Kalpi's forehead.
"Yeah..." Kalpi said with a warm smile.
There was someone who was burning in anger...Raghav...yes...Raghav was very angry to a reason very unknown to him...he clenched his jaws when he saw Prem Kissing Kalpi's forhead...
He punched very hardly on the nearby wall to soothe his anger...it somewhat decreased his anger...
He saw Prem coming out of the room so he thought to meet Kalpi...he moved towards the door...he was about to enter when Prem stopped him.
"Mr. Singhania...I'm sorry but Kalpi is sleeping and it will be great for her if she is not disturbed." Prem said while coming into the way of Raghav.
The doctor came for a checkup and then came out of the room...
"Is everything alright Doctor?" Prem asked in concern for Kalpi...
"Yes and I guess you all should leave...anyone of you can be with her since the meeting hours are over..." Saying so that doctor went away...
Raghav so wanted to stay and he was about to make that proposal when Prem cut him in between.
"Pakhi...I'm staying with her." Prem said.
"Ok." Pakhi said as she knew Prem would take care properly...
"Raghav I think we should leave... (to Pakhi) Pakhi...come...I'll drop you home..." Sammy said.
Pakhi nodded and went with him sparing a glance at Kalpi who was asleep.
Raghav also left while the guilt was still in him or maybe something else...
