Part 4
The office hours were over...kalpi came out of the office limping on her leg and holding her injured hand...it was late...she wasn't getting any cab..." kalpiii now you have to walk home with this injured leg and hand...God plz help me...I wish koi aa jaata ( I wish somebody comes..)" kalpi said to herself and was surprised to really see prem coming in his car..." kalpi kuch aur maang liya hota to vo bhi mil jaata( kalpi...if u would have asked something else also u would have been granted) Thank u god" kalpi said looking at the sky...
Prem stopped his car when he saw kalpi...he was worried to see kalpi wrapped in bandages...he came out of his car.." kalpi..what happened...u met with some accident? Are u ok...did u show it to some doctor...? Injury is very deep or what? Is it paining?" Prem said in a worried tone...
"Relax Prem...it's just a small injury...how it happened...well...that's a long story...will tell u some other time...I am fine...no...I couldn't go to some doctor but I am fine...I don't know how deep it is...and yeah it's paining a little..." Kalpi said...
"Kalpi...u r...huh...come in...sit in the car...I will drop you home..." Prem said..." And yes we r going to the doctor tomorrow..."
"What? No...I have an important presentation to make and I can't take leave..." Kalpi resisted..."Accha fine...we will talk about it later...come...sit in the car..." Prem said...
Since kalpi was at a distance she thought of walking to the car...as she took a step a suffered a jolt of pain..."Ahhh" Kalpi winced in pain...On hearing that Prem rushed to her...he caught hold on her hand...she again took a lil step..." ahh" she winced again...Prem lifted her in his arms and made her sit in the car...he started moving soon halted her her house..."Thank you Prem..." kalpi said..."No need to say thanks...and yes today's dinner in due since u got hurt...by the way u will be able to walk to ur house or should I help?" Prem asked with a concern...
"No I will manage..." kalpi said with a smile on her face...she moved out of the car...she was taking small steps as her leg was still paining...Prem saw her...he came out of his car...went near her and picked her up in his arms...kalpi was very surprised on this..."Prem...What's this...plz put me down..." kalpi said...
Pr: No...I won't...firstly I will drop u at ur doorstep and then I will leave...u get it...
Prem dropped her and went...
New Day...New Hopes...
Kalpi was roaming here and there limping on her leg for all the things that she needed as she was getting late for the office..."Pakhi where did u keep the files...I told u na not to touch it ...I am not getting it now..." Kalpi said with a worry...
Pa: it's on the side table...
K: it's not there
Pa: but I kept it there...I will come... (she comes ) now what's this?
K: sorry..
Pa: it's ok...
K: ok bye...
Pa: bye..and take care...I will join u later as I have yo go for a meeting with Sammy sir...
K: bye...
She comes out of the building and was surprised to find Prem...she goes near him..."Prem..u here?" Kalpi asked.." Prem Kapoor...at your service ma'am" prem said with a wide smile...
K: stop it prem...I am getting late...
Pr: I'll drop u...
K: Aww...so sweet of you. ..thank u...(she sits in his car)
They reached the office on time...Prem helped her in coming out of the car...she hugged him..."Thank you Prem...Thank you so much...had it not been u I would have been late...I love u Prem..." saying so kalpi quickly placed a peck on his cheeks and left...
Kalpi hurried to her cubicle...Raghav also came after her...he had seen her downstairs with Prem...he was getting annoyed with the fact that she was someone else..."Raghav stop it...she can be with anyone...why would you care...it's her choice..." thinking so Raghav went to his cabin...is he in love...no...no...no...how could the Ruthless...shrewd...kadoos...akdoo...can be in love...but...never mind...
Kalpi was busy with her work but her leg was still troubling her...and on top of that...that Singhania was calling her every now and then in his cabim for some sort of work and mostly for taking some files or for giving him some files...since morning she was almost doing all the work of peon on the pretext that file is confidential and can not be trusted with peon...
Raghav on the other hand was enjoying troubling her..."how dare she insult me yesterday..." Raghav thought to himself..."Raghav are you sure you are troubling her because she insulated you or because what yoi saw in the morning..." came the voice of Raghav's inner self..."NO" came the immediate answer from Raghav...he heard a knock at the door..."May I come in Sir" the person at the door asked..."Yeah" Raghav uttered...
"Here is your required file sir...I have completed it...check it and tell me if you need any change..."Kalpi said extending some file..." Bring me a cup of black coffee with no sugar. Make sure it is very strong..." Raghav said looking in the file..." Excuse me..." Kalpi said annoyed...
"Bring me a coffee" Raghav said looking in kalpi's eyes..."But that's not my job" Kalpi said defending..."It is...following my order is your job..." Raghav said...Kalpi went from there feeling disgusted on her boss...Kalpi some how reached the office cafe...made the coffee and took it struggling with her paining leg...
"Here it is Sir..."Kalpi said forwarding the coffee mug...Raghav grabbed the coffee and took a sip..."What a hell..." Raghav shouted..." I wanted a black coffee...you dumb girl...you don't know I only have black coffee..."
Kalpi was very angry on hearing it but controlled her emotions..." I am sorry sir...I did not know...I will get you a black coffee..." Kalpi said taking the coffee mug...she walked to the door of the cabin limping on her leg...
"Samjhta kya hai apne aap ko...what does he think of himself...kadoos...akdoo...I so hate him..." Kalpi was blabbering to herself while moving to cafeteria for her boss' coffee...again...she walked to the cabin...went inside...handed the coffee mug...he again took a sip...it was all looking like replay of any scene...and as the replay was going on so was Raghav's response..."Are you mad...anyone drinks such hot coffee...are you thinking of burning my mouth..." Raghav said throwing the coffee in the dustbin.
"It is getting heights of limitations...do not mess with me Singhania..." Kalpi thought to herself supressing her anger..." Fine Sir...I will get you another cup of coffee..." Saying so kalpi went stomping her leg..." ouch" she winced softly...
She again walked to the cafeteria...prepaped the coffee...limping on her injured leg...like again the action replay...and once again he took out some flaw..." I will get it again..." Kalpi said..." forget it..." Raghav said and sent her back after some discussions on some projects...
She sat in her cubicle...relaxed for few minutes when she was again called in Raghav's cabin..." this Singhania is annoying me a lot...he will have to pay...I promise..." Saying so she again headed to Raghav's cabin holding the required file..."May I come in sir?" Kalpisaid knocking on the door..."Yeah" was all that came from inside...
After discussing over some XYZ project for about three hours she was set free...it was almost 4 o' clock...she was hell tired and on top of that her injured leg was troubling her more...it was getting blue near the injured area and she was also feeling some fever...her wound was paining even more that it pained when she got it...her leg was even looking swelled...
She was agained called in..." Is he purposely doing all this...yeah...I m sure..." saying so she again went..."Yes Sir..." Kalpi said with a voice filled with tiredness...He liked it...he was almost successful in torchering her for the day..."You'll have to complete this file before leaving for home today...and me the XYZ file now" Raghav said with a stern voice forwarding a file...
The soothing anger again got hiked...she grabbed the file in anger and tured leave...she neared her cubicle, took the asked file and again went to his cabin...forwarding him the file she turned to leave suddenly she felt like the her whole world is revolving...and 'THUD' she fell down unconscious...Raghav her the sound and rushed to her..."Miss Jadhav...Kalpana...get up..." Raghav shouted panicking at the situation...he was trying to get her up when he noticed her injury that had turned blue and was swell also...he then checked and found that she had fever also...He took her to the hospital...
Here I give an end to this chappy...stay tuned to know what will happen next with me and THE ROAD NOT TAKEN...and...sorry for all grammatical and spelling errors...
