... Kalpana took her bag and walked toward the entrance to leave but stopped seeing Raghav standing at the door. Raghav came here a while ago and heard everything that Kalpana said. Seeing Raghav here unexpectedly, Vikram, Gauri and Samira were shocked. Kalpana then lowered her eyes and tried to pass him to get out but he held her hand to stop her. Kalpana looked at him and they both shared an intense eye lock. "I won't let you go Kalpana." Raghav said still holding her hand. Hearing him Kalpana said, "Who are you stopping?" she continued, "I am no one but a curse for this family. And I don't want to live as a curse in someone else's life. As you said, the respect I have for myself, I shouldn't lose it staying here. So, please let me go." Saying so she released her hand from his grip and was about to leave but stopped when Raghav said, "I accept... what we all did with you," He continued with assurance, "But from now on no one will dare throw a harsh word at Raghav Singhania's wife. Because tomahara samman mera samman hai and I won't let anyone put you down." Then both Kalpana and Raghav looked at each other and their trance broke when Vikram shouted, "Have you gone mad Raghav?" he continued, "Do you have any idea of what you are saying?" Hearing this both Kalpana and Raghav looked at Vikram. "I know very well what I am saying?" Raghav said, "I also can ask you the same question dad, that do you have any idea what are you doing with this girl? When you are done with this girl you are throwing her out knowing that she has no one left in this earth? Have you ever realized or ever thought of where she would go? She was right when she stated no one in this house has any humanity." Hearing this Gauri said angrily, "Kalpana can't stay in this house as we will never accept her as our daughter in law." "I assured and promised her Baba that I will take good care of Kalpana and never leave her alone." Raghav said. "What about us Raghav?" Vikram asked. "What," Raghav said, "I never promised you anything?" He continued, "You all forced me to marry her but you can't force me all the time as I am old enough and know very well what decision is good or bad." Hearing him all three got shocked. Then Vikram said, "If this is your final decision then you should know our decision as well." He continued, "From now on I am releasing you from all the relations you have with us as well as all our property." Hearing him Raghav lowered his eyes and nodded and said, "Okay dad." Saying so Raghav left from there.

Raghav came back in few minutes with a small bag with few of his clothes in it. He placed all his Debit and credit cards, car key on the table and said, "I don't need these anymore as these are not mine," he continued, "I am taking 1 lak rupies as a salary since I worked in your company for six months as an employee." Saying so Raghav held Kalpana's hand and said looking into her eyes smiling, "Chaley." "Raghav, you can't leave us like this for this ladki," Gauri shouted from behind. Hearing this Raghav said angrily, "Mom, her name is Kalpana and you are talking about my wife." "Let him go Gauri," Vikram said, "He will come back to us," "Let see for how many days he will be able to stay with this ladki leaving this luxurious life style." Hearing this Samira said, "How could you guys let him leave this place?" she continued, "He doesn't have any fault. This is all because of Kalpana. She made him do this. I will not spare you, you bitc..." Saying so Samira raised her hand to slap Kalpana but got interrupted when Raghav caught her hand angrily to stop her and slapped Samira hard on her cheek and said, "How dare you try to slap my wife." Seeing this everyone was shocked specially Kalpana. "How dare you Raghav," Samira said rubbing her cheek, "You slapped me because of this girl?" "Yes," Ragahv said, "I should have done this before when I got to know that you tried to hurt Kalpana intentionally." Samira came near him and held his collar and said, "Raghav you love me and I love you then why are leaving me behind?" Hearing this Raghav said releasing his collar from her grip, "Yes, I loved you and it was my biggest mistake in my life loving a selfish woman like you," He continued looking at his parents, "I am very happy today that I am leaving this house... specially people in this house. You made me educated but didn't make me a good human being. That's why I became just like you. Saying so Raghav left the Mansion with Kalpana forever leaving Vikram, Samira and Gauri dumbstruck behind.

Both Raghav and Kalpana were waiting in the Bus stop. Raghav made a phone call to one of his friend and said, "Ravi, I need a favor. I am coming to Mumbai. So can I stay your uncle's apartment for a few days until I can manage one for me?" Hearing this Ravi said on the other side of the phone, "Sure, You can stay there as my uncle is not coming from USA soon. Just give me a call once you reach Mumbai." "Thank you so much." Saying so Raghav cut the call and seeing the bus approaching, he held Kalpana's hand and they both got into the bus. On the way to Mumbai in the bus Kalpana and Raghav were sitting very quiet and thinking and remembering everything that just happened a while ago. Raghav was thinking how cruel his parents can be with a 17 years old child while Kalpana was thinking how Raghav supported her, fighting with his family. She also felt bad that for her, he has to stay away from his family. She said in her mind, I know you won't be able to stay without your parents and leaving that luxurious life style. If I would tell you to go back to your parents you wouldn't agree. That's why I kept quiet and waited for the time you will realize by yourself and go back. Their trance broke when Bus stopped in the middle of the way jolting. Raghav got off from the Bus and got some snack and came back. He then offered some to Kalpana saying that this bus won't stop anymore so have it until they reach to Mumbai. But Kalpana denied eating. He felt bad and left the snacks as it was.

Finally they reached Mumbai. Raghav called his friend Ravi for the apartment and got to know that Ravi's uncle is coming to Mumbai tomorrow in a short notice so he won't be able to give the apartment to Raghav and said sorry for the inconvenience. After cutting the call Ravi dialed someone's number and said, "I did, the way you said." Hearing this Vikram said on the other side, "Thank you beta for helping me." "No, thank you uncle," Ravi said, "If you wouldn't tell me that I was about to give the apartment to Raghav. I really wanted him to leave that bad girl and come back to you uncle. Thank God, that I called you after getting Raghav's phone about the apartment. I had a doubt that, why would he need my uncle's apartment as you have a mansion there? Then you cleared it up to me that Raghav is in trap of a bad girl and was ready to leave his whole family. Uncle I also want him to realize it and come back to you." Hearing this Vikram said, "Thank you beta and make sure Raghav doesn't get any help from any of your friend." "Don't worry uncle; I will take care of it." Saying so Ravi cut the call and dialed his other friend's numbers.

Hearing Ravi about the apartment he felt bad and said in his mind, where I will be able to arrange an apartment in a short time. He then dialed some agencies number and got to know that he will have to wait for at least two more months to get any suitable apartment. It was too hot outside and Kalpana was feeling very weak. Seeing her in that state Raghav took a taxi and searched all the possible hotels to book for few days but it didn't work as well as some of them were either booked due to the cricket match or some of them were too much expensive. All in all they wanted average as he didn't have that much money with him. Raghav then took Kalpana to the nearest park and made her sit on a bench. Then he went to the nearest store and came back with some bread, fruits and a few water bottles. "Wash your face as you will feel better." Saying so Raghav poured water and Kalpana washed her face. "Please eat this as you didn't eat anything since morning." Raghav said offering an apple. Kalpana took it and started eating as she couldn't stay with empty stomach anymore. "Take some rest," Raghav said, "You will feel better." Saying so he was about to take off her sandals but stopped when Kalpana held his hand and shook her head in no and said, "I am fine." "No, you don't look fine." Raghav said taking off her sandals. "Let me make some calls to agencies then we will go to the restaurant to eat something." An old couple were watching them for a long time who were also sitting to the opposite side. Seeing Raghav and Kalpana the old lady said, "Seeing the love and care it reminded me how you were taking care of me when I was only 15." "Han, I remembered that, you used to give me so much hard time." The old man said. "Let's go and meet them." Saying so the old couple walked toward them and said extended his hand to Raghav, "Hello beta! I am Mr. Rao and this is my wife Mansi and yourself?" "I am Raghav and this is my wife Kalpana; Nice to meet you sir." Raghav said taking his hand in his and shook it. "We were watching you for a long time and thought of meeting you." The old guy said, "We live around here and you beta?" "Actually we came to Mumbai today and looking for an apartment to stay that's why trying to contact with all the agencies." Raghav said. Hearing him the old guy said, "Kuch mila?" "Not yet sir." Raghav replied, "But I hope I will get one as I already informed lots of agencies," "I am sure they will be able to manage one for me." "Beta, this is Mumbai," The old man said, "And it is not that easy to find anything here so easily." He continued, "We have a one bedroom house next to the house we live in and if you don't mind you can stay there until you get something suitable as it is already dark and your wife seems very weak." Hearing him both Raghav and Kalpana got relief as they were too tired to look for any further. "Thank you so much sir," Raghav said appreciated, "I can't tell you how much relief you gave me from the guilt I was feeling for my wife," he continued, "I brought her here and we were roaming here and there since five hours but couldn't even manage an apartment for her."

The house was on the top of the hill in a little quiet area. Mr. and Mrs. Rao unlocked the door and said, "Here you go," "I hope you won't have any problems to stay here." Raghav and Kalpana looked here and there and noticed that there was a medium bedroom with attached bathroom and a living room with attached kitchen. Then they walked to the balcony and seeing the beautiful view Raghav said, "Beautiful," "I just love it." Hearing this Mr. Rao said, "I am glad that you liked it." He continued, "After a long time we came here. My only son and daughter in law used to live here. They died in a car accident two years ago and after that we never entered into this house as it reminds us that our son and daughter in law are no more." Saying so a tear fell from his eyes. Hearing this Raghav and Kalpana felt bad and said at the same time, "I am sorry." Raghav then continued, "Please don't feel bad as your son and daughter in law are not alive. You both have a big heart that's why you helped us in this critical situation and allowed us to live in your son's place. We will never forget this. From now on consider us as your son and daughter in law and never feel as if they are not alive." Hearing this Mr. Rao got emotional and said, "Thank you beta. God bless you." Then the old couple hugged both Raghav and Kalpana.

After having dinner at Mr. Rao's place Raghav and Kalpana left from there and came back to their place. Mrs. Rao gave them two clean bedsheets and two pillows, a blanket, window curtains and some cooking utensils. Both rooms were full of dust. Raghav decided to clean them first. He told Kalpana to stay in the living room while he was cleaning the bedroom. Kalpana noticed that Raghav was sneezing and coughing while cleaning. "You go and take a shower," Kalpana said, "Let me do the rest." "Kalpana, I told you na, not to enter this room," Raghav said, "I will be fine." Then he started cleaning again. After cleaning both rooms both of them took shower. Raghav covered the bed with the bed sheet and left one pillow and blanket for Kalpana and he took the other pillow for himself and lied down on the sofa. Kalpana was lying on the bed. The sleep was far away from her eyes. She was tossing and turning in her bed. She was feeling uncomfortable as this was the first time she was sleeping with Raghav in the same room under the same roof. She got off from the bed and walked toward the window. She was standing there for a while and when she felt sleepy she went back to her bed. Kalpana's sleep got distracted when she heard Raghav was coughing. She opened her eyes and noticed that Raghav was feeling uncomfortable on the sofa and couldn't sleep due to the nonstop coughing. She got off from the bed and went to the kitchen. After few minutes she came back with a cup of tea and told Raghav, "Take this tea. I made it with ginger and honey. You will feel better." Hearing this Raghav got off from the sofa and sat and took the cup and said with smile, "Thank you." Kalpana then took the pillow and was about to lie down on the floor but stopped when Raghav said, "Kalpana, why are sleeping on the floor?" "I am not feeling comfortable sleeping on the bed." Kalpana said. Hearing this Raghav said in his mind, I know Kalpana, though you are upset with me but still so much concerned about me. All of a sudden it started raining. Kalpana got off and was struggling to close the window. Raghav noticed that and went near the window to help Kalpana. Raghav stood behind Kalpana and was going to help Kalpana close that window but his hand touched Kalpana's by mistake causing both of them to look at each other. Both of them shared an intense eye lock. For a while both forgot why they came here. Their trance broke when rain water splashed into Kalpana's eyes which caused her to close her eyes. She opened her eyes and noticed Raghav still holding her hand. Raghav realized when Kalpana told him by her eyes that his hand is still on her. He then moved his hand saying, "Sorry." And then he smiled in his mind putting his finger into his hair. Raghav then took the pillow from the floor and said placing it on the bed, "Good night."

The next morning Kalpana woke up and heard some noise coming from the kitchen. She then entered into the kitchen and widened her eyes seeing Raghav struggling with ata to make roti. He was trying to make the roti round but couldn't. She then noticed some of the ata was stuck on his cheek and some on his forehead. Seeing her Raghav said with a smile, "Good morning." She walked toward him and told him pointing her finger, "Ata." Hearing her he said, "Can you please wipe it off?" He waited for few seconds and after seeing her hesitating he used a corner of her dupatta she was wearing and wiped it off. Seeing this Kalpana widened her eyes and felt a little shy. But Raghav didn't notice it. Kalpana then took the bowl from Raghav and started making the Roti without saying anything. After preparing breakfast Kalpana placed it on the dining table and was about to leave when Raghav said, "Where are you going? Come sit with me and have your breakfast." Hearing the Kalpana said, "I am not hungry I will eat later." Then she left. After having breakfast Raghav went outside to buy some groceries and few newspapers.

Raghav was searching for a job in the newspaper and internet. He circled a few jobs that seemed possible to join in his field while Kalpana was preparing lunch. Raghav then took a shower and prepared himself for the interview. Before leaving he entered into the kitchen and told Kalpana that he was going for interview and will be back soon. Kalpana nodded.

Raghav entered into the room when he was called for the interview. The first question was if he had any experience and if he had then where did he work. Hearing this Raghav said yes and he worked at Singhania constructions but didn't tell them that he was the son of the owner of Singhania Constructions. Then interviewer asked all the possible questions related to the field and position and Raghav was able to answer all of them. After the interview the interviewer were very pleased with Raghav and said, "How soon you will be able to join?" "Anytime sir," Raghav said, "If you want I can join from tomorrow." Hearing this interviewer said, "Okay, give us two more days as we need to do some formalities, such as background check then we will let you know." "Sure sir, thank you so much." Saying so Raghav shook hands with him and left from there.

Seeing Raghav entered into house with a happy face and Kalpana understood that there was good news. "Kalpana, they liked me," Raghav said with a smile, "I will be able to join soon." Though Kalpana didn't say anything but was happy for him from inside. He then put his hand on Kalpana's cheek and said with concern, "Kalpana, I want to give you all the happiness you deserve," he added, "I want to do everything which will bring a smile on your face," "From now on your happiness is my happiness." Hearing this Kalpana lowered her eyes and removed his hand from her cheek. Seeing this Raghav felt bad and thought, I know Kalpana, none of my words will affect you after whatever I did with you. To change the subject he said, "Kalpana I am so hungry," he added, "What is for lunch today?" He then opened one of the lids of a bowl which was kept on the table. "Hmm...smells good." Saying so Raghav pulled a chair over and sat and started serving into two plates. Seeing Kalpana leaving he held her hand and said, "Eat with me," He added, "I know you didn't do your breakfast." He continued, "I know you are upset. But please, don't punish yourself. Can't you give me a chance? Kalpana, I am trying my best. He then made Kalpana sit next to him and said, "Ab khao." Kalpana looked at him who was waiting for her to eat then at the plate which was placed in front of her. She then started eating slowly. Seeing her eating he started eating. After testing the food Raghav thought something and said, "Kalpana, you used to make food for me right?" He added with a smile, "Thank you." Kalpana didn't say anything and was still quiet.

In the evening Raghav and Kalpana went to Mr. Rao's house and handed 25,000 rupees over as a rent and said, "Uncle, we like your house and will be living here." Though Mr. Rao didn't want to accept the money but had to since he was insisting.

The next day Raghav got a phone call from the company he interviewed with. They told him that they won't be able to hire him. After background check they got to know that he was one of their rival company's owner's son and they didn't want to take any risk hiring him so that information might be leaked out. Hearing them Raghav felt bad and decided not to include his dad's company's name in the resume.

Raghav went for a lot of interviews but they directly denied him as he didn't include any experience in the resume and without experience no one wanted to hire him.

One month passed like this. Raghav got frustrated as he couldn't manage anything yet. The amount of money he brought was decreasing. Kalpana also could feel the situation. Kalpana's physical condition was not that good due to not eating properly. It caused her to feel weak and dizzy. One evening Raghav made tea and was waiting for Kalpana to drink together. 30 minutes passed by but still Kalpana didn't come out from the bathroom. Raghav got tensed and walked to the bathroom and started calling her by her name but hearing no sound Raghav broke the door and was shocked seeing Kalpana lying on the floor unconscious. He then lifted her in his arms and placed her on the bed and splashed some water on her face but still no movement or sound. He then took her to the hospital. Seeing her state doctor said, "Due to her weakness she got unconscious," he continued, "She didn't good care of herself for a long time," "If it goes like this it will be very difficult for her to survive." Hearing him Raghav lowered his eyes in guilt as he thought, this is all because of me. Doctor continued, "You need to admit her in the hospital for a week. She needs to stay under our observation." "Please do it." Raghav said in one go. "Okay, please go to the counter and deposit money then we will start her treatment." Saying so doctor left from there. Raghav deposited 30,000 rupees in the counter and came back to the room where Kalpana was kept.

The next day Kalpana opened her eyes and found her lying on the hospital bed and saw Raghav was talking to the doctor. When Raghav finished with the doctor Kalpana asked why she was brought here. "Kalpana, you got unconscious due to the weakness that's why I brought you here." Raghav said. Kalpana looked around the room and realized that it will be expensive. She then tried to get off from the bed saying, "I want to go home as I am feeling suffocated here." Hearing her Raghav stopped her to get off by holding her by her arms and said making her lie down, "Kalpana, this time I won't listen to you," He continued, "You have to stay here until you get well completely." He then held Kalpana's hand and said calmly, "Don't worry about the hospital bill," "I already paid it." He then said teasing, "If you don't take care of yourself properly then we will have to stay on the road after paying your hospital bills next time."

After a week Kalpana got discharged from the hospital. Kalpana was now taking care of herself. Raghav went for another interview and this time he was very desperate. After the question and answer part was completed Raghav said, "Though I don't have any experience, I can prove myself as a perfect candidate for this position. Please hire me for two weeks without any salary and if I don't fulfill your requirements during that time then you can fire me." Seeing his confidence they were pleased and agreed to hire him.

He joined next day and in a week he proved himself and company decided to hire him with salary of 60,000 rupees each month. They paid 20,000 rupees in advance. Raghav was so happy then he decided to buy something for Kalpana with his first salary. He bought two beautiful dresses with the matching jewelries for her.

Raghav came home and told her the news of his job and handed over the dresses he bought for her and said, "Please Kalpana accept this as I bought it with hope." She then accepted it. "Thank you," Raghav said with a smile.

Two weeks passed like this. One day he got a call from one of his friends Aman. He called to invite Raghav for his engagement which was held next week. Hearing him Raghav congratulated him and said he would let him know. Raghav told Kalpana, "Kalpana, one of my school friends is getting engaged and he wants me to join," he added, "Would you mind to join me?" Seeing her hesitating he said, "It's okay, we will not go."

One week later, Raghav came home from office and sat on the bed and bent down to untie his shoe but in the middle of the process his eyes fell on something which was standing in front of him. He then raised his head slowly and was mesmerized seeing Kalpana's beauty. He checked her out completely from head to toe. She was wearing a white with golden border Anarkoli suit with matching jewelries and kept her hair open. She was looking extremely pretty. Seeing his gaze on her she felt shy and nervous at the same time and said, "Chaley for the party."
