But Queen Pakhi... for a second... I thought.. she might be queen ... aka mother of Kalpana.. 😆 till I read.. queen could also mean.. wife of Raghav... :(

Part I.

You had lost the right, sweetheart. Don't you dare to call me Raghav again? I am King Raghvendra and you will call me your highness only.' - King Raghvendra whispers in her ears. She feels humiliated. She feels a rush of anger in her heart and suddenly she sees Raghav's bare arm which was wounded by her dragger and she whispers - I am sorry your highness. I have made my decision. I will marry you but you have to protect my siblings and my Amravati.'

I will take every decision about my state' - she finishes.

You are not in position to bargain, Prisoner' - Raghav whispers again in her ears.

Then I am afraid I have to choose the 4th option, your highness' - She whispers fiercely.

I am afraid you have only three options because I will not let you die. I will keep you in this cell forever your hand and legs tied but I will not let you choose a warrior's death, Kalpana' - Raghav hisses dangerously.

You are forgetting your duty in revenge, your highness' - Kalpana knows she has hit him at right place.

And You are forgetting that peace treaty happens by winner's choice - He retorts.

And it needs loser's consent' - She defends.

Raghav calls the guards waiting outside and asks them to inform their army chief that they will enter into Amravati tomorrow and also informs him to announce about King Raghvandra and princess kalpana's marriage.

Raghav leaves the cell without glancing towards her. He did not bother to untie her. She looks at the retorting figure of Raghav ..no.. King Raghvendra.

Flashback-

A 16 year pretty girl was pacing restlessly in anger at border of Amravati and Amarpur, Two states which are neither friends nor enemies. Her beautiful eyes are frowning, her perfect nose was flaring in anger and her lips were cursing him continuously. It was always her who ended up waiting for him and he did not care about her. And subject of her anger came in front of her.

I am sorry Kalpana' - He said pleadingly.

It is princess Kalpana for you, Prince Raghvendra'- she said mockingly.

Raghav knew he had angered his beloved. He promised her to meet at afternoon and now sun is setting at the east and darkness is engulfing.

I am sorry you have to wait but I was helpless. A citizen needed my help and I can't abandon my duty, Princess' - Raghav defends.

If you have to choose between your duty and me, whom do you choose? if fight will be between my Raghav and Prince raghvendra, who will win?' - She asked him worriedly.

It will be always my duty whom I choose and Prince Raghvendra always wins over your Raghav' - he answered truthfully.

She looked into his eyes to catch a glimpse of mischief. But no the words he uttered he meant it.

I hate you Prince Raghvendra' - she threw the present which she made by herself and left the place in anger.

Raghav had to persuade her lot to forgive him.

Flashback - end

Today, she knows what he meant then. Being a prince/princess is not about living in luxury but sometimes they have to sacrifice their own happiness, own joy for their state and for their duty. She is duty bound to Amravati. She is not just Kalpana anymore but princess of Amravati and one of the keys of hidden secret.

The secret is in danger otherwise the birth of protector does not make any sense. A protector is not born in last 2000 years. Why this secret needs a protector now when it did not need a protector till now? She had heard from her foster father that a protector will be born as promised by sun god if the secret will be in danger but he also said that till now no one had been born or marked as protector? Is she imagining things?

Her mind is racing nonstop. She is not able to find her answer and her approval to marriage with King Raghvendra is not bringing any peace to her mind. She is going to marry an already married man. Though it is not uncommon in royal families but in Amravati, man can't take more than one wife and she always wanted to marry a man who will be only her. But it is her misfortune that her life never goes according to her plans.

King Raghvendra comes to camp of queen pakhi. His wife aka queen accompanied him to the army camp.

Queen Pakhi is a very fair tall curvy lady with dark brown long hair and a pretty face. But if you see her closely, her jaw line is little masculine making her little less attractive.

King Raghavendra sits for dinner with queen pakhi. Pakhi sees her husband intently and she can see the contentment on his face.

Pakhi - So, princess of Amravati agreed to marry you'

Raghav looks at her in surprise.

Pakhi pours drink in his glass - Oh, please don't give me that look. I am the one who suggested you to attack Amravati so you can get your revenge. But I knew you wanted her more than the revenge. Princess of Amravati accepted to marry you'

King Raghvendra sips the drink - always well informed. That is what I like about you, my queen'

Next morning,

King raghvendra comes to temporary prison and he sees sleeping kalpana. He can see only her eyes but can sense her discomfort being tied up. He used to care about her slightest discomfort but not anymore. He jerks her and she wakes up and finds him staring her.

King Raghvendra bends over her and unties her hand and leg. She stands up after a little struggle. he does not help her and she does not ask for his help. She tries to pull clothes from her mouth but he holds her hand and taking her another hand, he ties her hands again. He holds her shoulder and drags her like a prisoner.

I can walk on my own' - She screams.

I am treating you as a prisoner' - he whispers in her ears.

He leads to her in his chariot and make her sit near him. His chariot leading a large army of soldiers of Amarpur enters into gate of Amravati. Guards of the gate bow their head seeing their princess captive. Charioteer drives the chariot through the main road of Amravati and Kalpana can see disappointment and rush of anger in her people's eyes. They know that their princess is getting married to a married person. She bows her head as she failed as a princess and as an army chief. But sometimes we have to lose small fights to win big battles

Chariot with some guards crosses the entrance of palace. Raghav steps does from chariot and drags Kalpana out from the chariot angering two people who are seeing them from an enclosed opaque glass encased balcony.

Raghav enters into main gate of palace and moves toward the residential part and encounters a closed door. He orders the guard who is guarding that door to open the door and the guard helplessly looks at Kalpana.

Kalpana - please untie my hand, your highness. I am the only one who is capable to open the door.'

King Raghvendra does not listen to her and tries to forcefully open the door but door does not open a bit.

Kalpana - you are wasting your energy, your higness. This palace only recognises my touch. This part of Amravati can't be conquered by anyone.

King Raghvendra - Your palace will also learn to obey me like you, Kalpana'

Kalpana is about to say something when door opens and a girl and a small boy appear from the door.

The girl sternly says - That day will never come, King Raghvendra. Palace of Amravati will be loyal to only its owner and you are not owner but an invader. Princess Kalpana may be weak but doors of this palace are still strong'

Raghav looks at the fierce and proud girl who is replica of Kalpana and the boy who looks small but body posture is saying that he is well trained in war fare.

The girl then turns to Kalpana - Why did you agree to marry a person who is responsible for deaths of Amravati soldiers. It would have been better if you accepted death than agreeing to marry him'. She glances to Raghav with hatred in her eyes.
