Raghav doesn't know that Kalpi loves him. He is also unaware of his own child. He can't be selfish though he loves her. Both Raghav and Kalpana think about each other before thinking about themselves. Both of them are ready to sacrifice themselves for each other. Raghav has owned that right to think about kalpana's future though he doesn't have her custody. He thought he will make her agree for the marriage.
