Kalpana was always a girl with ample of self-respecting attitude within her which she prioritized even post May 9, 2014 when Raghav had lost to his mother's whims and fancies. Keeping her integrity intact, Kalpana did accept Raghav's love again but it was with the condition to remain separated for One Year more till Raghav completed his revenge. Without compromising with her self-respect Kalpana retained the rights on her love also; a love which she had come to consider her own.
Kalpana Vitthal Jadhav's journey is the portrayal of a character that could be a role model and an inspiration for other aspiring girls. It was a journey which eventually ended on the depiction of an ordinary but strong, middle-class girl who continued living and fighting for her fistful of sky, but who never let go of her dreams.
The character of Kalpana may have ended for its fans with the fateful car-accident of Raghav and Kalpana but it shall ceaselessly inspire us to live for our dreams, to fight for our rights, to respect the morals and faith which our elders instill in us, to know that you fail only when you stop trying and most importantly how to love. Kalpana Vitthal Jadhav was and still is as close a representation of a contemporary times, modern-times girl who knows how to respect her values but who also knows how to spread her wings and sly, to achieve our own fistful of sky.

When the innocent, sharp beauty- Kalpana met an astute, ingenious businessman and a person like Raghav Singhania, their romance was incessantly charged by divine light of a Full Moon. Raghav and Kalpana (RagNa) together were white fire. Their date in the park and little passionate escapade on the terrace during the engagement sequence are still play on the screens of our minds. A romantically desirous man, Raghav Singhania was a live passion. Who can forget the trial-room romance scene when Raghav makes Kalpana wear a saree, and without going overboard warms up the whole fandom along with Kalpana's heart.
Everything was hunky-dory the character of Raghav Singhania transformed once more, this time to a helpless man. Raghav Singhania was now a man in despair, because neither could he defy his mother's unjust wishes, nor could he discern her real intentions. At the hands of his own mother and his blind love for her, Raghav lost everything to her, his world- his Kalpana. Even though now a feeble character but once again it was a very good portrayal of a different shade of human emotions and traits. It continued to be so, until the day Raghav Singhania found the whole truth behind the facades in his life; and it all ended in his car-accident with Kalpana by his side.
Not just any other role, the character and role of Raghav Singhania was an icon and shall continue to be so in the history of Indian television. It was a character which was custom-made to be the first true ideal super-hero of contemporary times, but with circumstances changed to the tale of an ordinary human being, a fallen but a true hero. Raghav Singhania was, is and shall continue to be special for the fans of that character.
The ruler of our hearts Raghav Singhania shall always be, with the memories of the original Raghav; which was always meant to be.
