Chapter 23:
Raghav carried Kalpi into the house showering her cheek with kisses. Once Raghav set her down Kalpi ran into the living room and sat down on the sofa and began kissing it. " My house, my sofa , and ( blowing a kiss a Raghav) my Raghav. "
Raghav came and sat beside Kalpi. Before Kalpi could react he tackled her on the sofa and started kissing her like mad.
Kalpi " mmm Raghav" Kalpi pushed him off . " what r u doing ? You are acting like a man on fire ... A man who needs to have water put on his fire of desire ". Kalpi said wiggling her eyebrows up and down.
Kalpi " by the way why am I getting this keemti gift of kisses without any misses. "
Raghav " a kiss for every hour that you were away from me"
Kalpi just hugged Raghav in a tight bear hug and kissed him crazily " I missed u to my stud muffin of love"
Raghav " I ain't your stud muffin of love just yet... Wait until I get you alone this weekend at our farmhouse . I will show this stud muffin's love !!!"
Kalpi blushed and gently slapped Raghav " Gandha bandha "
Just then Kalpi's phone rang and it was Vihaan .
Kalpi " hello sir"
Vihaan " hi Kalpi I just wanted to remind you that tommorrow is the look tests for the models to be the face of Mehta beauty line."
Kalpi " don't worry sir I will Be there on time."
Vihaan " ok see u then."
As soon as Kalpi hung up her phone rang again with a private number " hello". But no one answered all she could hear was breathing on the other end " hello who's calling". But no one answered and before she could say hello again the caller hung up.
Kalpi just frowned and looked at the phone.
Meanwhile on the other end Vihaan gave an evil laugh " and now begins phase one of mission Kalpi!!!"
The next day Kalpi went to work for the look tests of all the models to find the right model for metas beauty line.
Vihaan was instructing the photographer and telling the models to give their best poses.
Kalpi " how's it going sir anyone seem promising yet?"
Vihaan " no Kalpi!! Mehta was clear he wanted a fresh look but some of these models look so tired... What to do yaar?"
Kalpi " sir I used to do a little modelling in university do u want me to give these models some pointers"
Vihaan " please Kalpi. That would be great we need to have our model found today Mehta wants to start the launch ASAP"
Kalpi went and started showing the models the type of poses and age toned some of their makeup. As Kalpi was doing the poses the photographer took pictures of her.
At the end of all the tests and when the last model left Vihaan and Kalpi sat down to go through the pictures and find their fresh face. As Kalpi reached for the first set of pics Vihaan raached for the same pile and his hand brushed hers. Kalpi didn't like that and quickly pulled her hand away.
Vihaan " sorry I didn't know you were going for the same pile"
Kalpi " it's ok sir "
Vihaan thinking to himself " there will come one day when you will put your hand in mine on your own and I won't have to find ways to touch you" with that thought he smirked and gave Kalpi a long look.
Vihaan picked the second pile of pics and asked " any pics that interest u"
Kalpi " not yet sir"
Just then the photographer came " sir have a look at these pics sir . I think this is the face you are looking for!!"
Vihaan took the pictures from the photographers hands and gave a wide smile " by God man you are right this is the face that we are looking for. "
Kalpi looked at Vihaan " really sir you found the right face"
Vihaan " yes have a look" and he passed the photos to Kalpi.
Kalpi took one look at them and got shocked . " no sir oh no sir"
Kalpi out the photos on the table revealing her face. It was the photos the photographer had taken of her.
Vihaan "
No Kalpi u r the face we have been looking for"
Kalpi " but sir I m not a model I only did some modelling and I don't want to wear skimpy clothes I m married"
Vihaan " don't worry you won't have to dress provacatively it's mostly head shots as the beauty line Is creams, lipsticks, etc.."
Kalpi " I have to discuss it with my husband sir,"
Just the Kalpi 's phone rang showing a private number. Kalpi picked up the phone and let out a series of hellos but it was just heavy breathing and then a hang up.
Vihaan " who was that Kalpi"
Kalpi " it was a wrong number"
Vihaan laughed inwardly thinking how he had paid his butler to ring Kalpi.
Outward he nodded and said " well you are the face so please ask your husband"
Kalpi just gave in and nodded.
That night when Kalpi got home she told Raghav and Raghav just laughed.
Raghav " I knew u were gorgeous and today even a beauty line wants this gorgeous face as the face of their products. Why not go for it"
Kalpi just tackled Raghav and gave him the longest kiss ever " thank you my stud muffin thank you "
Kalpi gabbed her phone and called Vihaan " hi sir "
Vihaan " yes ms gorgeous face!!! Bolo Kalpi ."
Kalpi " sir my husband said yes "
Vihaan " great I will let mr. Mehta know we have our face"
Just then Raghav geabbed Kalpi from behind and buy her neck. Kalpi yelped and slapped Raghav .
Vihaan clenched his fist wanting to slap Raghav " Kalpi what happened"
Kalpi trying to avoid Raghavs attacks on her neck said " nothing sir. I gotta go. Bye" and quickly hung up the phone.
Kalpi turned around and said " what are you doing? You just embarrassed me while I was on the phone with my boss"
Raghav looked at her innocently and said " what I wanted something sweet. I happened to see a Kalpi pie so I took a bite... and yummy yum yum it was just right"
Just then kalpis phone rang and again it was the private caller,
Raghav " who was that ?"
Kalpi " I don't know but I m getting worried someone keeps crank calling me"
On the other side Vihaan was laughing " that's right Kalpi fall for this trap so that attention is diverted from me. When the time is right I will take you far far away and nobody will know it was me " and he laughed wickedly.
