Chapter 43
As Kalpi reached home she had butterflies in her tummy! She looked at the wall clock and decided to take a quick shower. She quickly ran to the kitchen to make herself a cup of tea and switched on the heater for a nice hot bath. Pouring herself a cup of tea, she then bit her lip and decided to make some coffee for Romeo. Putting the coffee to brew she made two veg sandwiches, gobbled up one with the tea and then ran to take a shower.
Arre kalpi first you have to take bath and then have tea! ...Kamla aai's words echoing in her ears...giggling to herself thinking if Kamla Aai comes to know how naughty she has been and imagining her expressions Kalpi stood under the shower. Running her hands over her skin she relived the moments of intimacy in the office store room with Romeo and started breathing heavily. Lathering her pufa and soaping herself she thought what would have happened if she hadnt stopped Romeo?
Would he have done it there? Isnt that something horrible to do? I mean isnt workplace meant to be like your place of worship? But then why did she get so excited thinking about it and was almost about to lose herself then? Why did the feeling of being caught make it more thrilling for her?
Oh dear! wondered Kalpi. Guess I have finally lost all my morals too! Deva please forgive me! She finished her bath and stepped out of the bathroom which was all foggy and hot. She wore a simple tshirt and pajamas and then looked in the mirror! Come on Kalpi you used to dress up for Prem then why not Romeo? After all he has always made you feel special. You rarely get to show him how special he is to you. She watched the clock once again and decided to wear something nice. She wore a lovely beige coloured saree lightly sequined at the border that she had bought few months ago for a party but never attended it. The blouse was fashionably stitched as Prem had asked her to. She loved the feel of the material as the saree was free flowing and smooth!
Raghav had left the office and was about to reach Kalpi's house when he suddenly realised that he needs to buy something for her. So on the way he picked up some lovely flowers and spotted a nursery with various plant saplings and he left the flowers just to walk into the nursery. He then asked for a rose plant and found a pot of beautiful red button roses. He was sure kalpi would love them and rushed to her house.
Meanwhile at the office:
Sammy was fiddling with the phone and getting irritated. Why is this Soumya taking ages to give me one report? How long do I have to wait? He decided to go and find out for himself. As soon as he reached closer to Soumya's desk he could hear her murmuring... Idiot, donkey, fool...saala taking advantage of my friendship. Wait till I tell Kalpi about this. Bloody bugger wants his night out with guys to go get drunk and leaves me with all this work. And there in his cave sits the great beast who hates me to the extent that he doesnt even look at me or talk to me! Kalpi goes and talks and everything is settled. I am telling you Sow...As you sow ...sow shall you reap... Dont give these people so much footage. They all will gobble you and you will no longer exist! Poor you! Look at you, no life! I agree writing programs is something I love to do! but this is like I am dead...have no life! Uhhh at this rate I am dying a virgin...and I will end up marrying some sad old man who would have enjoyed his life well and have no more capacity to fulfill my needs!
Initially Sammy was shocked to hear someone speaking loud to herself and then as he kept listening to the conversation...that amused him. 😛
Soon he cleared his throat, to let Saumya know about his presence. However, she was still oblivious to him being there and kept cribbing to herself. So he stepped closer and tapped on her shoulder from back and bent down to slowly ask her if she is ok. It was then she turned her face backwards and it brought their faces too close to each other!
Aaarrrhhh! she screamed! What..? What do you think you were doing? She pointed a pen towards him like a weapon and continued...You think I was all alone and this is your chance? No way mister...dont think I am a simple girl...I know self-defense!
Sammy was shocked initially, however on realising that he was being considered as an offender his expressions changed and he became serious. Excuse me Miss Sowmya! I believe you have become cuckoo working alone on your programs. I dont need to do any such thing and that too with someone like you! Never! I came here to ask for reports but you were busy chatting with yourself and so I came closer to tap your shoulder.
All Sowmya heard was 'someone like you...never'!
Whaaattt did you say? She screamed. Why what is wrong with me? This is even worse! So you think I am not upto your standards and that you are going to sanitise your hands as you touched me? Nooo! and she started to cry!
Sammy was lost again. He had never had to handle a crying lady before so he had no clue what to do? First of all he didnt even understand why was Sowmya crying? What am I supposed to do?
