Aww Barkha, you have added new and realistic dimension to original EMA story. Girl your POV About EMA story being unfolded is just apt without any difference of opinion. Your Kalpi is just today's girl, having all the values, ethics, respects and love for family and most important for SELF too. She is e motional but definitely not ready to be a doormat, not even for impractical mother of hers whom she loves nd respects. RGayab in ur story too inspite of having dark past really sensible, straightforward and a true lover who instead of bending down to the newly developed twist thinks like a businessman and plans his moves. His attitude too is no nonsense and hence with honesty and integrity is able to convince his love for the step they are taking. You have shown true love and understanding where boTh have openly discussed options, outcome and moved in life.

Kalpi was all over Raghav. Her head rested on his chest, legs on his legs and her one hand around his neck. Both were sleeping comfortably. Morning rays fell on Raghav and broke his sleep. He opened her eyes and witnessed the most beautiful scene of his life. Kalpi was sleeping peacefully over him. He grinned looking at her and sofly kissed her forehead. She snuggled more into him. He was enjoying the feeling of her soft skin against his. He carressed her face and his touch broke her sleep. Few seconds later she opened her eyes. She was shocked to see herself like this. She tried to run away from him but he held her by her shoulders.

"Kalpi you cannot run away from me. He slided his hands rested them on her waist and pulled her a little. "You are beautiful in and out" He whispered in her ears and kissed her shoulder. She closed her eyes. He turned her so that she can face him. Her eyes were still closed. "Kalpi look at me please" She opened her eyes. Her shy filled eyes met his loved filled ones. "You are my wife, my life long companion I don't want you to be shy with me in any manner." Kalpi hugged him and she didn't know when the bed sheet she was using to cover herself slipped from her hand. This time she didn't even bother to pick it up.

After a while Gauri knocked the door thus breaking their hug. She ran to her bathroom and Raghav quickly wore his clothes to open the door.
"Raghav sorry to disturb you son but today is Kalpi's first rasoi so she has to make some sweet for us. Sammy together with his parents and Maya must be on their way. Did she wake up?"
"Yes Mom she is in bathroom."
"Okay tell her to come soon."

Half an hour later Kalpi came out wearing a Red Anarkali suit which was enhancing her beauty and was representing her as new bride. She came out and touched Gauri's feet for blessings. Gauri at first felt her heart melting looking at the respect she was giving to her but soon wiped away the thoughts. She blessed her and explained her the ritual.

The bell rang and Gauri went to open the door. She welcomed all four of them with great warmth. Kalpi started making Sooji ka halwa for the ritual. The chef had already made the breakfast. Raghav came out of bathroom. Being habitual of picking his clothes he headed towards his wardrobe when he saw that his clothes were lying on bed. Kalpi had already picked out clothes for him. Raghav smiled looking at clothes and felt emotional. All these years it was just he for himself but today Kalpi is there for him. He took the clothes wore them and came out.

Sammy and Maya were waiting for him. Sammy hugged Raghav and asked him naughtily "How was last night". Raghav have had enough and said "The same as it will be when you will have yours." Sammy looked at him surprisingly and laughed at him.

They all sat down and Kalpi bought the dish. Everybody tasted it and appreciated it. Kalpi was staring at Raghav. Raghav looked at her but to his surprise not just Kalpi but everyone was staring at him. He got confused and asked "What???"
"Raghav you are such a kanjoos in appreciating her." Maya said. Raghav realised all of them were glaring in anticipation. He looked at Kalpi who was looking at him nervously and said "Its really nice. Can I have more?" Kalpi was happy with this lil appreciation since she can read the trueness of words in his eyes and that was suffice for her. After breakfast Gauri and Sammy's parents gave shagun to her.

Raghav asked Kalpi to get ready for its time they should leave for office. Gauri didn't want Kalpi to go. She knew Kalpi is a self made girl amd won't like to sit at home. Thats what she will exactly do to trouble her. "Raghav Kalpi won't go with you." Raghav looked at her confusingly when she continued "What I mean to say is I am not yet well and I don't trust Kapoors what if they try to harm me again. Also I want to tell her all the customs and traditions of Singhania. Please let her be with me for a few days." She looked at him in such an affectionate way that both Raghav and Kalpi couldn't refuse her. Raghav left for office while Kalpi stayed at home. "Now you see Kalpi. Its not just a matter of few days. I won't allow you to go to office at all" Gauri thought to herself.

Raghav settled down in his chair when Sammy and Maya joined him in his cabin.
"Raghav where is Kalpi" Maya asked.
"Well Maya she is at home.You know Mom is not fine so she is at home to take care of her."
"Okay...waise Raghav I am really happy for both of you. Finally atleast Gauri Aunty accepted your marriage."
"Really!! Is it so?" Maya and Sammy looked at him in a puzzled manner.
"Raghav what are you saying she did all the post marriage rituals with so much of love."
"Maya it was just an act put up by her, she has not accepted my marriage yet." Raghav said with sore tone.
"Raghav you are doubting your mother!" Sammy asked shockingly.
"No Sammy I am sure of it."
"How can you be so sure?" Sammy asked
"Sammy you have witnessed my journey till yet. From last 20 years I have been staying all alone. The kind of people I have met has taught me two things : one to discriminate between good and bad intentions and two no person can change in around 360 degrees overnight. Sammy I have seen the rage in her eyes against Kapoors. Mom met me after 2 decades and instead of cherishing the moments we had spent together and being happy that after a long time we are together again she told me to marry Pakhi to avenge Kapoors. I have clearly noticed the the firmness the determination in her voice. She was full of praises for Kalpi and her family but when I told her about my relation with Kalpi she without even giving our relation a thought said she is a chawl girl and not fit for becoming Singhania. Too much sweetness leaves a sour taste. When I saw her in chawl I expected her to scold me, slap me but instead she supported my decision. Not only that with all enthusiasm she carried out all the rituals of post marriage. Sammy , Maya if she would have chosen the obvious way to put up her act I might have fallen I guess but her extra sweetness was the biggest loophole in her act."
"Raghav still whatever you said has loose ends. It may be that on not finding you in home she realised the depth of your love."
"Maya I am a business man before choosing a project I check its feasibility from each angle. To confirm my cent percent doubt on her I intentionally asked Kalpi to come with me to office before her. I knew it will be sudden and if she hasn't accepted our marriage she would think something to stop her from going. I noticed her change of expression and it said it all."
"No Raghav I guess you are thinking too much of this easy acceptance by your mom. What will she get on keeping Bhabhi at home"
"Sammy for a girl like Kalpi her self respect is of supreme importance. She has made her carreer in order to maintain her self respect and to raise it as well in the society. To live equally. What better way Mom can find to ruin our relation than crushing her self respect by not allowing her to pursue her career." Raghav said while clenching his fist in anger.
Sammy and Maya were looking at Raghav in shock. He interpreted all her actions so well. "If a mother can understand the unspoken words of her child the same applies to the child too" Raghav said. "I'll make her undertand the depth of our relation"


Sammy changed the topic. He didn't want to go into it further. He said "Raghav though its not problematic but I guess we will loose the project whose meeting is going to be held tomorrow. With the sudden turn of events in the recent days we are not left with sufficient time to prepare for it. And you know our loss is only one person's gain."

After thinking for a while Raghav said "Sammy back out from the project. I am no more interested in doing it. And make sure you back out tomorrow only when the meeting is about to start."
"Raghav our loosing out this project won't hit our market share nor our market value but definitely our backing out will look highly unprofessional"
"Don't state the obvious Sammy but do as I say. Nothing of that sort will happen." Raghav said with an assuring tone thus making Sammy all the more curious to know what's exactly going on in his mind.

Raghav Sammy and Maya were busy in discussing something when they saw Pakhi entering in her cabin. Raghav was annoyed seeing her here.
"What is she doing here?" Maya asked
"She is bonded Maya and if we break the bond we have to compensate her" Sammy replied.
"Bond!!What sort of bond??"
"Maya in order to set Raghav and Kalpi's love story I had planned it." Sammy said and narrated the entire story.
"Now what?" Maya asked
"Sammy give her her transfer letter for Manglore office."
"Raghav..."
"Sammy no where it was written in the bond that the company cannot transfer the employee."
Sammy smirked and Raghav and Maya too.

Pakhi was thinking on how to get back Raghav in her life when someone came to her cabin. Her thoughts got disturbed on hearing a knock on the door. She gestured him to come in.

Ramu (I know how much you all love this character) came in and said "Madam ye Sammy Sir ne diya hai kaha hai urgent hai"
Pakhi took the envelope and asked him to leave.

Pakhi opened the envelope its had her transfer letter. She was shocked. She was not only transferred but her department too was changed and now she was to report in HR department of Manglore. She just couldn't take it anymore. Out of anger she stormed out of her cabin and went to Raghav's cabin without knocking.

"Raghav whats this?? You have transferred me to Manglore and also changed my department from Marketing to HR."
Raghav was startled to hear about change in department as he has only told Sammy to make transfer orders. He smiled inwardly and said coolly "Miss Kapoor go back and knock the door. This is Singhania Industries and not Kapoor." Pakhi gritted her teeth and when she saw him looking straight into her eyes with no intentiom to budge she went outside knocked the door, waited for him to let her come in and when he signalled her she came into the cabin.

"So what are you here for Miss Kapoor??" Raghav asked as if not knowing her purpose to be her. He turned his chair towards the wall.
Pakhi tried to control herself and said " Raghav what is this" Before she can complete Raghav said "Its Sir for you Miss Kapoor". She took a deep breath and said "Sir, what is transfer for and a sudden change in my department? May I ask you why?"
"Miss Kapoor as the owner of the company I am not accountable to give you any explanation. You have to follow what has been instructed to you."
" Raghav...Sir I have signed 6 months bond with this company"
"I agree Miss Kapoor but that does not restrict the company from giving you transfer as well as change in department. It just bonds you and the company for 6months."
"You know I don't want to take transfer I cannot stay alone."
"Miss Kapoor your personal phobias are your problems not of company"
"I know why you are doing this so that you can give this position to your wife right!"
"Miss Kapoor you may leave" Raghav said smiling inwardly "You are such a dumb Pakhi. You can't even figure out the reason behind this." He thought.
"Pakhi barged out of his cabin. She came to hers and after a while again went to his cabin. She was fuming.
After Raghav gestured her to come in. She came in and said in a loud tone "Heres it my resignation letter and tell me the amount to be paid as compensation for breach of bond."
Sammy answered straightly 7lacs. Pakhi looked at him in anger. She didn't expect an immediate response. She placed her cheque book on table and signed one cheque in favour of Singhania Industries. Sammy took hold of her cheque and asked her to complete the formalities.

After Pakhi left Raghav said "Sammy whats the compensatory amount to be paid for last minute back out from the project."
"Around 5lacs." Sammy said. Raghav pointed towards the cheque and Sammy was surprised. "Raghav ye..."
"Get the cheque cleared Sammy as soon as possible. Before Pakhi reaches Kapoor house. Pay 5lacs as compensation and deposit remaining 2lacs in the account maintained for CSR Activities." Sammy smirked and so did Raghav.

After completing all the formalities as usual before going to her own house she went to her Kamla Ma. This time it was not out of love or affection but a well planned strategy chalked out by her on her own. She didn't want Kamla Ma to meet Kalpi and loose her hold on Kamla Maa. She knows at the end Kalpi is her daughter and if she not meets her Kamla Maa regularly then slowly she will start accepting Raghav & Kalpi's marriage. She cannot allow any one not even Pakya and Kalpi's baba to brainwash her.

"Kamla Maa..." She was busy in kitchen when she heard her Pakhi baby's voice. She immediately came out. Pakhi hugged her and said in a polite tone "How are you? I know you must be alone so I came here. I know you need support since no one is standing with you. But don't worry Kamla Maa I am always there for you." Kamla had tears in her eyes to hear such soothing words. She thought "I have brought up both the girls. One broke my trust to marry her love and she though had a heart break still has come to me to give me support.Theres so much of difference between them" Pakhi thought "Its so easy to fool you. You cant even differentiate between real and fake." She smiled wickedly which went unnoticed by Kamla. Blinded by her love she could not read her eyes which spoke her intentions at that very moment.

Pakya came after a while and saw Pakhi's car parked at the chawl. He shook his head in disgust and knew she must be busy in filling his Aai's mind against Kalpi. He went upstairs and said "Aai I am back. Give me tea and something to eat. I am hungry." Kamla said "Pakya see Pakhi has come. After so much has happened still she came to meet me. Won't you greet her?"
"Aai I said I am hungry will you give something or should I go out find something for myself." Pakya replied in a tone reflecting his anger and dislike for Pakhis presence.
He stood there folding his arms across his chest and staired at Pakhi waiting for her to leave.

Seeing the aggression in his eyes Pakhi took her bag and left the chawl.

Sahil Kapoor barged into his house. His eyes expressing his anger and his appearance showing his restlessness. "Sahil what happened why are you so disturbed and annoyed?"
"Ask your daughter? Where is Pakhi?" Sahil almost shouted at her.
"Whats wrong with you Sahil and what has Pooka done that made you so angry on your dear daughter" Neetu asked nervously
"Neetu, Pakhi has resigned from Singhania industries and also paid the compensation amounting to 7Lacs."
"What???" Neetu was shocked. Spending lacs on your ownself was acceptable to her but giving it to someone and that too 7 Lacs was highly unacceptable to her.
"Yes Neetu without consulting us she resigned. And here we were thinking that she will unknowingly help us in knowing what Raghav is planning for tomorrows meeting. She ruined our plan." Sahil yelled on Neetu for Pakhi's stupidity. "We had an opportunity to sneak into Singhania's working via Pakhi in this 6months but she finished it all in few hours and on the top of it she reisgned paying money. Whatta girl!! Aapna hi nuksaan kara kar resign kiya"

Pakhi entered in the home. Sahil was about to grill her but Neetu stopped him in the mid. She went to Pakhi and asked with utmost sweetness that she can put in her voice "Pooka meri rasmalai beta ye 7lac ka kya chakkar hai" Pakhi asked "Neetu how come you know about this 7Lacs". "Pakhi your dad told me that you gave Singhania Industries 7Lacs." "Neetu I resigned from the company." "But why muffin mera matlab hai bachha you were doing so well na" " Raghav transferred me to his Mangalore Office and that too in HR department. You know I can't stay alone."

Sahil laughed out loudly catching Pakhi and Neetu's attention. "What is wrong with you Sahil?" "Dad are you okay?" "Pakhi you were tricked by him and you easily fell for it." Neetu and Pakhi looked at each other and then at Sahil. They were too confused to understand what he meant. "Pakhi theres no branch of Singhania Industries at Manglore" Neetu and Pakhi were shell shocked. They couldn't believe their ears. "He wanted YOU to resign so that its YOU who has to pay the compensation. He made though a small in amount but a profit out of your resignation."

Pakhi was shattered. She never thought Raghav will fool her like this. "Pakhi if you had shown a lil patience we could have worked out a solution" Sahil said. Neetu was so frustrated on hearing this she blurted out what she was suppose to keep a secret "Pakhi if you had used your brains then atleast we would have got to know what Raghav has prepared for tomorrows meeting. We could have used the information in our favour" She immediately realised what she had said and before she can cover up her mistake Pakhi while wiping her tears said "They have not prepared anything as such for the meeting since past few days they were busy in the events that turned up lately." She left for her room.
Neetu and Sahil smiled looking at each other after listening to what Pakhi said. They were sure of their victory. And also now Pakhi was on their side.
