Part-3
The moment Kalpi stepped out of train she felt as though the city is welcoming her with open arms. She was having a strange feeling as if her life is gonna change forever. With mixed feeling of excitement and anxiety she took hold of her suitcase and went towards exit gate of station only to be surprised to see a man wearing a chauffeur's attire holding a placard bearing her name and a lady almost equal to her age standing right besides him. She felt relieved for she now wont have to look for a cab and wander in the city to know where she has to stay.
The lady noticed Kalpana and was amazed to see her. Going by what she was told by HR department that she has stayed all alone in her life neha,the lady, thought that Kalpana would be a geek and would bore her to death. But here she was standing right before her. She was completely opposite of what she had imagined of her. Kalpana was wearing jeans n T-shirt and had a lively smile on her face which was infectious enough to bring smile on others face as well. Kalpana introduced herself and so did Neha. Neha asked her about the print out of mail which had confirmation of her appointment and which she was supposed to carry with her. After confirming that she was the same Kalpana for whom she was waiting they entered in the car. During the journey from station to home Neha explained about the work culture of Singhania Industries and also how much khadoos akdoo Raghav Singhania is.
When they reached home Kalpana was truly surprised since the house had all the basic amenities and that she has to worry about nothing since everything that she needed was there. She was really impressed with the HR department. Atleast now she had reasonable time in her hand to explore the city and learn the routes.
Well this was Raghav Singhania's style. He had always seen his father taking a lil extra care of those employees who didn't belong to the city for he knew how much difficult it is to leave the place where u had spent so much of your time and to adjust in a new place. If basic things are provided to them along with accomodation it comes as a relief to the employee and he can take care of other things.
By evening kalpi had settled down in her new house thanks to Neha who was of great help. She had expained her the route to be taken for office so that she can go alone as she was going out of city next day on an official trip and so wont be there to accompany her. Kalpi was looking at the busy roads of Mumbai when the smell of coffee caught her attention. In these few hours she has become friends with Neha who by now has started liking Kalpi and admired her strength. Inspite of staying all alone she was not like their boss who has become a Robot and lives a schedule ridden life. She knows how to live happily and to bring smile on other faces too. All her assumptions for Kalpi have proven wrong and now they are friends. Kalpi made her first friend in the city and was looking forward of making many more in days to come.
The morning brought two different shades with it while Kalpi was excited nervous happy all the emotions running in her system all together coz its her first day in city and in her new office too,Raghav was really angry. Sammy insisted on having drink with him. Due to hangover he couldnt get up in the morning and missed his work out session. The servants of the house were well aware of the outcome and therefore no ine came before him. He was angry with himself, he was arguing with himself as to how can he give himself so much of liberty, how could he deviate from his schedule. He was suppose to sleep at 11 and get up at 5 but he stayed awake till 2 and his morning schedule got disturbed. He was angry with Sammy as well but could not express to him. Those who know how Raghav Singhania is, will surely avoid meeting him today for their slightest mistake will instigate him and they will be in for a treat which they r not gonna enjoy.
Unaware of her employer's robotic life and reaction he gives if his schedule gets disturbed Kalpana entered the premises of Singhania Industries. She was looking at the building with pure amazement in her eyes. She couldn't believe her luck. She knew she had fetched a job in a very big company but had no idea that she will be working in such a big building. While walking towards her place of work and admiring it she didn't get to know that Raghav was just ahead of her. Raghav was feeling a lil relieved that somehow he managed to reach 15 mins before 10 but was also agitated with the fact that he was 15 mins late than his usual time. Both being unaware of each others presence and Kalpi about Raghav's mood were heading towards the elevator to reach their destination.
