Though Zee did a great job by giving us our RagNa they thought they are the rulers!!! And that everything they throw at us in the name of entertainment will be accepted by us, 'The Viewers'!
By introducing Ashna and a great story concept they started off with pomp! They could not wait for a leap and immediately brought in the grown up characters!!
The child artists were really endearing! Most of the shows cash in on the popularity gained by child artists! They could have shown Kalpi struggle at her hostel and how Pooki was pampered at Singhania mansion!
They could have Kalpi's bonding with new people at her school and hostel. And a little bit of Raghav struggling abroad!
They could have easily shown this upto 7-8 months.
Once the grown up characters were introduced they were again in a hurry to get them involved in each other's affairs!!!!
What about the title Zee??? Its no use coming up with great concepts you need to stick to that concept too!!! Nobody had expected it to be a romance serial. People actually wanted to see a maid daughter's struggle to her success!
Anyway they did start the romance and now they hurried the confession and the marriage and the so called infamous and overdramatic and overhyped so called twist!!!!
It does take a serial sometime to gain popularity especially at a time slot like 7pm competing with established successful serials on a rival channel they should have promoted the show well! They did not!
Neither did they promote the grown up characters. They did not make much into news segments which most new serials try to do by giving interviews of their actors etc.
Still EMA managed to grab the eyeballs solely due to RagNa mind you RagNa and not VitLa!
No one said the other casts were not good! Infact all of them was loved by us! Vitthal was the best father, Samy the best friend, Pakya the best bro and Neetu the cutest vamp, Paakhi the silly beauty but still she was sweet and nice!
But again the channel forgot and thought that if there are fans they will watch any crap and screwed the script so horrendously that the concept of this show went to the drains!
The characters were loosely created...Kamla and Gauri were two loose characters in this serial! Horribly went wrong and could not connect with the audience!
Worst was when they declared that they wanted to change the leads due to low trps resulted due to lack of chemistry between leads or inefficient acting skills of the leads??! It was them who had said that Actors are not responsible for TRP's when it was rising, however during the show's downfall it surely became the actors' fault and now they thought roping in popular actress like Asha could save the day!
Poor Asha, took the worst or most incorrect decision of her life by coming in this serial! But to come to think of it, did she not hear about EMA or know the story before jumping at this offer? I mean any popular actor like her who would be careful to accept the next venture after her first popular stint with Balaji but she did a great mistake in taking up this show. Her association with this show brought only hatred for her though she did not deserve it! Instead the CV's/ PH and the channel did! Only hope, she had appointed someone to choose what is good for her professionally!
Its not wrong to replace a certain character and try to please the audience. It has been many a times before in many of the popular serials like Kasamh se, SNS, and many more to name!
However the story then in those serials helped them achieve this feat! But here the new leads failed to notice that EMA storyline sucked!!!
Anyways Karma can never be ignored or forgotten. What goes around comes around! So EMA makers deserve this unceremonious and unglorified end as they never gave our RagNa a dignified and an appropriate ending!
Once bitten twice shy, so will DJ creations be careful with their creatives selection next time? OR will channel Zee be careful not to hurt the viewers next time!!!??? Well well I am sure shy to watch a DJ creations serial again! Too much to take any more!
Whatever it is I am Elated, Excited and Thrilled to know that EMA has been replaced by a new show!!!! Yesss! We have shown the channel the fan power and the viewer's choice! Dont u dare underestimate us Zee!
And would like to thank all the social medium sites including India forums that helped us express our views, our disappointment and frustrations against the channel and the PH and enabled us to see this day! Justice finally met!
