Kalpana walked in & sat on a chair in front of him.
K : So as u know Sammy is coming over here on Gauri aunty's orders to patch up between us.
R : Yes I do ... So what's the plan of action ?
K : (nodding her head with disgust) As expected !! ... Raghav I hope u know that even u r a part of this fake marriage & not me alone. Coz its always me who makes plans.
Little did she know that he had gotten to much in character & had now begun to assume her as his real wife. Wo bhi utna hi hairaan tha Jitna ki wo yeh baat jaankar hoti... Ab kya karein ??
R : Why should I worry when my wifey is there with me !Btw... I haven't ever told u but I feel that Sammy is becoming doubtful abt our relation .
K : Oo ...in that case we will have to be all the more careful. K ... Now listen...
B4 she could complete, the doorbell rang. Raghav quickly got off his recliner
R : How come he's come so early ? I had given him so much of work !!
K : But what can 1 do now ??
Both of them walked to the living room to open the door. It wasn't Sammy , but Gauri & Paakhi. They looked at each other with fret & then back to them. As this time everything was a surprise with no chances of pre-planning. & adding to that surprise was
P : Bhai ... Guess what , who's here !!
Paakhi & Gauri distanced each other to make way for some1. Raghav & Kalpana's eyes lowered to see a petite body frame of almost 2 & a half feet. It was a little girl with big black glasses with an attire far more mature than her age.
R : (almost immediately) Shit !!
It was audible only to K who looked back at him with questioning eyes.
R : (in her ear) Ull soon know
P : Bhabhi ...meet Malhar ! She's Sammy's niece. She was having a holiday in school & thus Sammy told me to get her here.
R POV : So this is Sammy's weapon. Aaj toh sach pakda hi jaayega !!
He was pulled out of his thoughts when
M : (forwarding her hand ) Good evening Mr. Singhaniya ! Long time ...no see .
R : (shaking hands) Umm... Yeah !!
M : (frowning) What kind of an answer was that ? It's only coz of this behavior of urs that the company loses its deals . It was such a casual approach of urs. Whenever a person greets u, u shud reply in an appropriate manner. U...
P : (interrupting her) It's fine malhar ... Y don't u meet Kalpana bhabhi !
M : Ofcourse ...I shouldn't be wasting time on ppl who lack etiquettes.
Raghav made an irritated face while she Turned to Kalpana
M : Hello Mrs Singhaniya !!
K : (with a tone she uses during her meetings, but with a small smile) Hello Malhar ! Pleasure meeting u.
Her eyes twinkled slightly while she shook hands with k. Then looking at Raghav
M : Learn somethin from her Mr. Singhaniya.
There Paakhi & Gauri were finding it hard to control their laughter. As Malhar was the only girl who cud manage to get onto Raghav's nerves anytime & anywhere. This wasn't at all New to them. Maybe ever since she had said her first words, there were always taunts for Raghav.
She walked in , her head held up straight as she sat on the sofa & crossed her legs.
M : Mr. Singhaniya ...isn't there a thing called mehemaannawazi in ur dictio...
& there she was served with a glass of juice by Kalpana even b4 completing her words.
M : (raising an eyebrow) Hmm... Impressive !!
When Kalpana was returning to the kitchen Raghav followed her. Once they were in the kitchen
K : Who is this Malhar ??
R : She is the limit of how irritating a person can be. The perfect words which describe her are "lecture queen". She's always like lecture lecture leecture ...
K : Raghav ... I didn't ask how is she ...I asked who is she ? & please tell me things which are useful
R : She is Sammy's niece from Delhi . A wonder girl I must say !! Too matured for her age & smartness isn't a mention. We gotta be careful of her. I am pretty sure that detective Sammy has got her as an assistant for his case called Raghav-Kalpana ki shaadi.
K : Hmmm...I see !! Do a thing ...stay in ur room for sometime ... Actually go & have a bath ,till I manage the things over here.
R : What are u upto ?
K : If Malhar is Sammy's trump card then its high time she becomes ours.
R : Malhar is no normal kid, tougher & irritating than any nutcase which wud ever exist in the world.
K : Weren't u the 1 who said that y do u need to worry when ur wifey is here ! Now see the magic of this wifey !!(winking at him as she left the kitchen with some snacks)
Hai ...maar hi daalogi kya ? Things had definitely changed a lot between the 2 in those 3 months. Only difference being 1 had realised it but was running from acceptance whereas the other was not even close to it. After her brother & father's death she avoided making relations & hence the delay maybe.
Raghav followed his captain's orders & went for a bath. The scene which he witnessed after exiting the washroom made him regret underestimating Kalpana & her abilities. She was sitting on his bed with Gauri & Paakhi doing some female talk. But that wasnt his matter of observation. What left him shellshocked was when Malhar came running to her & almost sat on her lap.
M : Kalpana Di ...can I please take these !
Kalpana smiled at her as she caressed Malhar's hair lovingly
K : Ofcrs dear !!
M : Oh thank u, I wanted these shades(paints) since a very long time. & these one's I don't get in Delhi.
He cudnt believe his eyes. He cudnt believe that Malhar was actually behaving like a normal kid. But his attention was soon diverted as thoughts begun to get wings. He saw Kalpana kiss Malhar on her forehead after some sweet talks that took place between them. His thoughts again going haywire as he imagined Kalpana kissing their daughter in a similar way. With he later kissing them both & getting them in his arms. An anti-family Raghav was thinking about having his own family !!
He snapped out of his thoughts when he heard Malhar speak
M : Mr. Singhaniya...u dont deserve Kalpana Di even a bit !!
B4 anybody cud react on that Kalpana spoke
K : No Malhar ...u shudnt say so ! That's not the way classy girls speak . He's a very nice husband.
M : I'm sorry Mr. Singhaniya !
Again Raghav was in shock. Did Kalpana actually defend their marriage ? But G & P were more than happy when she did that. They felt that now everything was alright between the 2.
Just then Sammy entered.
