i still think its trp reason its about the target audiences its not exactly about the story...i mean look at all the shows that have high TRP ratings Saath Nibhana Saathiya, Diya Aur Baati Hum, Mahabharat, Balika Vaghu all of these are for the whole family thats why they tend to do well...shows like Madhubala, Rangrasiya, Chanchan are usually for the younger generation and mainly they tend to do OK because of the Actor/Actresses popularity and Ek mutthi asamaan falls into that category so hence why they brought in this new actress to give them a decent TRP...
