Finally it's time to bid adieu to Mrs. Kalpana Jadhav Singhania (for me the show ended on May 9th with RagNa dream marriage)...don't know if I would be able to do it after a while; my journey with her started with the promo, revealing good looking petite diva, killingly hawttt, ambitious yet vulnerable with pain and anguish seeping from eyes who left me with countless moments to treasure and cherish. Kalpana...living to the true meaning of her name she is indeed a beautiful dream which breaks with the blink of the eye; she is a dream which Raghav Singhania had in his eyes, a dream viewers wanted to watch fulfilling but dreams never lasts forever only remain as beautiful memories.
What is so special of Kalpi, a girl next door...simple, sharp, naive, no nonsense lady with impeccable belief in hard work, arrogant, hardly socializes, intimidating, cynic, insecure, introvert and many attributes we all hate, with the audacity to speak against anyone standing for self respect; yet sensible with deep rooted care and concern for all!! Do these qualities really make her unique from the crowd?? May or may not be BUT she is stunningly HUMAN not at all conventional TV show HEROINE; she is rather a human being like all of us with SHADES we encounter in our lives, the girl we all get connected to She is a DEFINITIVE character with depth, elegance, innocence, poignant, insecurity laced with undying confidence and strength in a truly realistic fashion. She is an ordinary girl with amazing strength that spills out as natural imbibed QUALITY AND NOT AS EXPRESSION, enabling many ordinary girls/women to identify with her (lately she is reduced to a mere furniture) Her emotionally distant behaviour and aloofness get on our nerves but it makes her even more attractive and enigmatic for Raghav Singhania !!
Rachana Parulkar you will be remembered and cherished forever as Kalpana, no less than immortal, you have breathed life into the role and carved a niche with underrated, controlled, in-depth, intricate interpretation with timeless, exemplary & colossal performance. The way your fabulous body language was unveiled...Mesmerizing Eyes, sarcasm, diction, confident gait, the tilt of the head, the hesitant laugh, the frown on the brow, painful looks, Innocence is truly amazing, you are JUST too perfect in delivering subtle nuances with finesse. Kalpana's character did lost direction at places but you still maintained the elegance with natural performance...Kalpana is never under done nor overplayed...EVEN A GLIMPSE IS JUST PERFECT.
Thank You Rachana Parulkar for immortalizing Kalpana in our hearts; I wish you all the very best for your future endeavors and hope you'll never fail to allure us with your phenomenal acting and colossal performance. Stay Blessed...!!
