At the cafeteria..
While Kalpi was getting coffee Sunaina was sitting with Aryan's words echoing in her ears," You are not my mom so stop behaving like one... stay away from sneha ... i don't want to lose her because of you as i lost mom and dad..."
Kalpi came and sat beside her... she placed her hand on Sunaina's shoulder,"Ma'am...coffee"...she said handing over her the coffee mug..."What happened Ma'am...why are u looking so sad???...You can tell me...you'll feel better"..
Sunaina always had admired kalpana... she actually could see herself in kalpana... Kalpi was determined and focussed...she showed others that she was rude but seeing her that day with sneha brought her to a conclusion that she was very soft at heart but just acted to be stone-hearted...
Sunaina- Kalpana... sometimes somethings cannot be shared with anyone..
Kalpana- I know ma'am but sometimes its better to talk it out rather than keeping it inside us...the only thing that can happen is we hurt ourselves..
Sunaina- Sneha is not my daughter neither her brother Aryan...
Sunaina told kalpi about how Aryan an orphan boy 10 years old came into her friends i.e aryan's mom and dad's life... he filled their life with happiness and his was filled with much more...he got the parent's love he missed out on in childhood...the care he was deprieved of at the orphanage was their with him...Eight years later Aryan's mom gave birth to sneha... Aryan's family was complete... after 10 years of loneliness then he had everything in his life when that awful night arrived into their lives...
That night it their marriage anniversary and Sunaina wanted to surprise them...so she brought Aryan and sneha to her Alibaug farmhouse and they all three prepared for the party...Sunaina called them to tell that they should take another way rather than highway ... she thought that they'll be late and the preparations will be done by that time...
When the bell rang Aryan went running to the door...he was eager to meet his parents after their month long US trip but instead he saw two police inspectors standing at the door... he called his Sunaina-mom(that's what they called her earlier)... they were showed the two bodies which were found under piles of rock at the site of landslide and both of them brokedown... Sneha was just two years old...
Thereafter Aryan blamed Sunaina for his mom-dad's death...if she hadn't told them to change the route they would've been alive... Aryan took care of his little sister and he never let Sunaina meet sneha but she knew sneha needed her...not now then atleast in future... so after no. of court hearings she was allowed to meet sneha any two days of the week... To avoid meeting Sunaina , Aryan never stepped into the office...his office,his company...he used to work from home and attend only important meetings..
That accident didn't just changed Aryan and Sneha's life..Sunaina's life too changed...she used to behave like a careless teen even at 40 and after the accident she changed into a super-strict lady...with years that passed she slowly was getting back to normal...
Sunaina- (Crying)Aryan's right...i was the reason...
Kalpi- No ma'am...the landslide was the reason not you...some things are just meant to be...they are unavoidable...
Sunaina- It was...
Kalpana- Lets leave the topic ma'am...it was past and cannot be mended but atleast we can have a good present by not getting sad over the past...
Sunaina-(Wiping away her tears)If you don't mind then can I ask you something..
Kalpi- Ma'am you need not ask for permission...
Sunaina- Its bit personal..
Kalpi- Its ok ma'am..
Sunaina- I too had undergone a change in myself after the accident but eventually I realised that the change in me was doing nothing but just hurting me and the people around me...
Kalpi- Ma'am sometimes some changes do good to you as well as others..
Sunaina- You mean distancing yourself from others and creating fear in others minds is doing good to you and others...
Kalpi- If we don't trust anyone then there's no chance of trust being broken and ma'am its really hurts when someone breaks your trust...( a tear rolled down her cheek)
Sunaina-Sometimes its better to talk it out rather keeping it inside us...the only thing that can happen is we hurt ourselves...
Kalpi told her everything about her life right from childhood how she craved for her mother's love and then about Raghav and everything...
Sunaina- I am really proud of you dear... You are really one of your kind... You didn't give up even after all these hardships...
Kalpi- Actually I did but then someone made me realise how lucky I was and how trivial my hardships were...
Just then sneha came hopping and they left...
When she reached home,Kalpi got to know about Gauri's conspiracy from kamla and how kamla tried to reveal the truth and Raghav didn't believe her...She just wanted to go away from this drama ...
so next day she asked Sunaina about any job for her in the new project which was outside the city... Sunaina gave her the job of project head and from that day onwards kalpi stayed away from her family...
