Taking it from third person pov, it's true that Kalpi's being too harsh... but from Kalpana's pov, it's different. It's still proving difficult for her to understand the truth and accept it. She knows somewhere that Raghav wasn't at fault, but she has her inhibitions which are preventing her from admitting it... and the reactions that prove that she still loves Raghav are still hard to deal with...

Yes, she is wrong in doing so, but she is not being cruel or heartless, she has just suffered enough to take another such highly demanding change in her situations easily. Now that she is beginning to accept it, she is also taking some wrong steps, but sure enf she realizes her mistake...
