TB : how do you think this role has worked out for you?
KV: ai aam aappy. I have never received this much airtime even in my yesteryear roles...to think that I dictate the show threeels me. When I signed on, everyone was skeptical ...but i kne that it was about Baii ke sapne...so only my dreams and feelings will be shown, no matter who the actor is...and having been Baii union prejisent, it was easy for me.
TB: prejident? Now that is new?
KV: haan..but I do not advertise, becauj the union went choupat after I took over. I had modurn pilans but these baiis were not willing. Since they did not toe my line, i clojed it. Actually, even in EMA, at one ponit, they were doing the same...all the time saying Ragna, Ragna...I put my heavy foot down. They understood what effect I would have in just that single tremor..so they separated Ragna, as per my wij . Now , whether Ragna will unite or not, depends on how viewers behave with me.
LV: this role has been wonderful. I feel like Urmila Matondkar...i alwaysknew i was better looking than her, now even my acting prowess has been highlighted. I am excited bcoz I get to wear even less clothes than her in the name of designer wear.Even if I am negative, I am getting a lot of coverage. I make posts praising myself in IF under various names just to rile up Kalpis fans, and I just love the way they react. in no time, the replies run to pages and my post always remains in the top ten. poor kalpi, no matter what she does...her posts do not get that many views or replies.this shows who rules the show.
TB: has there been any other benefit from EMA?
KV: of courj. I have been praised for my dances, especially the one I did in front of aato na...that was what saved Raghav...Heard after seeing that, they are planning to sign me for DID...But I told them, I give full commitment to one sow only...so for the moment, saurry a. But, my phans need not take tensun...i will come to DID shortly. Once caphe is hit, I will put Manda in charge and jump, saury, dance over to DID set.
LV: EMA has been beneficial. I have met wonderful people like Kamala and Punch Dead...we are now thick as thieves...these two will move heaven and earth to make things happen for me...so as long as they are with me, I will have eternal fame and glory
TB: how do you react to the backlash against you?
KV: back what? Oh you mean my back...uska kya. Agreed...even I want to show more of it...they were initially not willing...but CVs have not paid the tailor his dues...so from this week on , even I will be like KHi ..backlej
LV: people always hate the vamp...even Shahrukh had to face a lot of flak when he did Baazigar and all those bad guy roles...so you see, in a way, i Know, I am one step closer to Mannat( SRK house) my house will be next to his, cos I will be his lead lady always. You see all Gauris side with me na...my house will be called Vayu deep after a person who breathed air and brought life into my life...
