This song I would like to dedicate to all RagNa fans and specially to Raghav. π Shall we begin?
Tauba main pyaar karke,
Tauba main pyaar karke pachtaaya.
Maine socha ek akela, main rahoonga kitna re,
Dil kabutar ud gaya mera dekh ke tera chikna ve,
Phitte mooh, phitte mooh, phitte mooh, dil ne bura fasvaya.
Tauba main pyaar karke,
Tauba main pyaar karke pachtaaya.
Yaaron, this is not only for us but for Raghav as well. When he made that grand entry, he was all about revenge and no ladki lafda but fate would not have that. He met Kalpi, not once, not twice, but he bumped into her continuously. Then came our favourite Pune Washroom Scene in which we saw RagNa nok-jhok which ended in a sweet and caring way. However, that was only the beginning. The Alibaug trip was one that will forever remain a fan-favourite I presume with the raw care between the duo. Am I right or am I right?
Then when Raghav is finally hit by Cupid's Arrow, the idea of revenge just flies from his head and hence "Maine socha ek akela, main rahoonga kitna re". He fell head over heels in love with her and had a one hell of an amazing time trying to get her to reciprocate his feelings before Sammy stepped in and offered him some tips. Definitely "dil kabutar ud gaya mera dekh ke tera chikna ve". πππ
And then BAM! Gauri's memory comes back and so does the revenge plan and khalas, "dil ne bura fasvaaya". ππ
O toh supankha lagdi hai, jo kadi lagdi si Sita,
Apne ghar mein kaid hua toh ye samajh mein aaya re,
Main jise bulbul samjhaa tha, woh aise naag ka saaya,
Ke jinda koi na bach paaya,
Tauba main pyaar karke,
Tauba main pyaar karke pachtaaya.
Probably my most favorite part of the song in relation to Raghav Baba. πππ He got married to Pakhi thinking that she would be easy to break and in turn get his revenge. But when he brought her home and spent a few days with her he realised that whatever he thought about her was wrong. She was, for the lack of a better phrase "woh aise naag ka saaya" and trust me I know that all of us are agreeing with this phrase. Then with her over the top and extreme wish to fulfil her wifely duties we can definitely agree on the next phrase "ke jinda koi na back paaya" because I am pretty sure Raghav wants nothing more than to either strangle her or strangle himself. ππ
Ab gaali sunti hai saari, shor aisa chhaaya hai,
Usne ghar wich aake mera aisa band bajaaya,
Ke mujhpe hasta hai mera saaya,
Tauba main pyaar karke,
Tauba main pyaar karke pachtaaya.
On the contrary I believe we're the ones that are continuously cursing the, ah, woman in Raghav's house (and I don't mean Gauri). Poor Raghav, not only him but "aisa band bajaaya" to everyone that's still watching/reading/thinking of EMA. Now honestly, it's not the saayathat's laughing at Raghav. It's the fans and the good for nothing CVs. Look what they've done to the character. Spoiled him but still he has to suffer the torture.
All in all.
Tauba main pyaar karke pachtaaya.
Definitely. Had he fallen in love like a normal person and focussed only on Kalpi rather than his dumb revenge.
Lol. Now I know some of you are wondering why this song but I was sitting doing my work and humming random tunes and this just happened to be one. I wasn't even aware of what I was singing until I stopped and then two seconds later...π€£π€£π€£π€£π€£π€£π€£
This post was long overdue wasn't it? I don't even know if it is positive or just plain out stupid but either way, I felt this song fit the situation. Lol. Enjoy!
P.S.
Bashers stay out. I mean it.
