It was more of Kamla's dream,rather than Kalpi's.

All Kalpi ever wanted was her mother's undivided love and attention.She would be quite content with that which is reinforced by her dialogue in 1st episode after leap"Jab kucch kiya,apni aai ke liye,apne liye maine toh kabhi kucch kiya hi nahin,haan ek baar Neetu memsaab ke liye kaam bhi kiya to bhi aai ke liye.Aaj mein ek usi ka sapna hi to jee rahi hoon"

And Kamla wanted her daughter to be educated and not be a baai like she was.

With all the education that she got,she has already achieved her mother's dreams,she has a nice job and everything.

Maybe a resentful and an angry Kalpana wanting to buy off Kapoor's apartment made us feel that she should get more success and be super rich.But that was just Kalpana angry at her mother.

Maybe the show was supposed to go this way.I knew Raghav was going to marry Pakhi some day to avenge his father's death.

Sindoor scene was quite filmy and heavy duty high voltage but showed Raghav's commitment and that how much Raghav & Kalpana are hopelessly in love with each other.

EMA is about Bai ki Sapne for her daughter not about daughter's sapne. Apparently Kalpi never had any dreams of her own which CVs have shown right after leap...till Raghav came into her life she was living a robotic life chasing her mothers dreams...
