Hi I just want to say something as I am reading all the comments on this site. I don't agree with anyone tweeting the cast with negatives. We are all upset over the way the story of EMA is going. The actors have to follow the script given to them. They are not at fault for anything. We understand that. When there are issues with the story, etc then we need to vent that anger, rightfully, at the creators, writers, producers, etc but NOT to the cast. They are actors paid to follow the script.
Secondly, the actors need to understand the feelings of the viewers. Serials cannot mess with social issues and people's emotions and then expect the fans to sit quietly. There will be reactions both positive and negative and actors need to see that as part of being a STAR and an actor. If a person cannot deal with these kinds of responses then maybe acting is not the profession for that person.
As long as people understand that the negative comments are intended for the character of the story and NOT the real life actor, then things can be cool. As someone rightly pointed out, people are not angry with Shilpa or Shrini or whoever, but at the characters in the story. Therefore, cast should not reply negatively to negative comments from fans. This sadly, actors, is the ugly part of the world of acting and glamour and glitz which you guys have chosen as your vocation. Understand that. No one said being a star comes easily. It comes with a price.
If you guys act negatively in this serial and then bag a big positive role in another serial, you will see how the fans reaction will change. I've seen lots of negative characters bag positive roles later on and the fans were very receptive to them. So please don't respond negatively to your viewers, they are the reason you guys are acting in the first place.
And to the fans, be respectful in how you speak and communicate to actors. They are human beings too and have feelings. Tweeting negative things to them is not professional or nice.
And I don't know what is going on with these comments I am reading about other actors from EMA being cold towards Rachana because the fans like her so much. Is this true? Hope not. But if it this, then Indian cinema and actors are worse than ever. They show they have neither civility nor professionalism; other actors cannot gang up against an actor because fans like them more. This shows the mediocre mentality of people. Grow up guys and behave more civilized towards your colleagues. You guys are far behind Hollywood whose actors are bigger than India's, and different Hollywood actors carry different star power and appeal in the fans' view. But that does not ruin relationships between these actors or affect them working together in film or serial. Indian actors have a lot to learn.
