You are right though, that the male and female psych is different

Male usually distract themselves and avoid the emotional aspects

while women like to ruminate or think over it. Its in the nature of both genders.

Considering that Raghav tends to have a single minded approach to things, it only amplifies his tendency to avoid thinking about her. Moreover, he's fully involved in carrying out his plan where Kalpi is left alone. Let him be alone and I believe we will see him reminiscing.
