DARKNESS LOOTERSWelcomes the Aasmanians of this forum to its FOURTH thread of discussion, and we hope you enjoy your time here. "Everyone suffers at least one bad betrayal in their lifetime. It's what unites us. The trick is not to let it destroy your trust in others when that happens. Don't let them take that from you." I never wanted to allow myself to fall in you with you, and yet my heart could not resist her, your warmth prevented me from saying no, your caring attitude ensured, my NO was always a YES. But could all truly be real? I kept telling you our world were too different, it was the only line of argument I could muster to keep my weak heart from acknowledging you, and yet your promises striked the right chords and my heart began to dance just for you. And when you promised to cherish me forever, I could not help but say yes. It hurts to breathe. It hurts to live. I hate him, yet I do not think I can exist without him. The breaking of the heart is never heard nor felt by outsiders, we those who have endured it, understands its real ache. Yes, he betrayed her, yes he was in control of the situation, heck he was the master of it all. But that did not mean, he too did not feel the same pain and hurt she was feeling. She healed his heart, she taught him how to smile and tonight was meant to be the happiest night of their lives, because he was going to make her his. But alas circumstances were beyond his control. His priority had changed, but would she understand his plea? Would she support his actions? Would she be able to bear the pain, he just ensure she endured? Would she be able to forget the humiliation of her family? It is often said, stab the body and it heals, but injure the heart and the wound lasts a lifetime. She sat there waiting for him to come, it was late but she knew in her heart, he would come! He must be stuck somewhere, because the excitement he had shown to make her his was one that truly won her heart. Each passing seconds felt like a lifetime- but he will come, he has to come. She kept reassuring her heart. Everyone had left the altar, but she was not going anywhere. And then came the car, and he stepped out, looking rather upset than happy, she rushed to him to yell lovingly at him for being late. When reality striked her hard. Another girl walked out of the car, sporting a bridal attire and claimed to have married him. She was flabbergasted. She kept telling herself, it was a joke, a bad joke. She approached him, begged him to tell her it was not true, but alas he confirmed her worst fear.
She stood there lost, so this was how betrayal felt like, she pondered upon. Sand turns traitor, and betrays the footstep that has passed over it; water gives back to the tell-tale surface the body that has been drowned. It was all over, her dreams, her armaan, her chahat, everything was over in a split second.
To betray you must first belong! He belonged to no-one until she came into his world and brought with her a string of relationships. And one such relationship was her father. One could never truly comprehend the pain of a father, seeing his daughter ditched at the altar. The anger inside of him was built to such a level that only killing the man who did what he did to his daughter, would suffice his hunger. And like a wounded prey, he went and found his prey. He was ready to avenge his daughter's betrayal. How dare he ditch hi daughter and then flaunt his new wife? Was he truly that fickle? Vithal was made to think, Raghav would honor his daughter till death did them part, but alas when reality came knocking, it was indigestible. Edited by _innocent_ - 11 years ago
