This is not to bash anyone it was just an innocent observation.
But yeah, that confession scene with Raghav and Pooki. I didn't really feel anything while watching it. It was suppose to be intense and shock galore but I watched it and didn't feel anything. No shock. No surprise. No pity. And the reason is because of the acting.
Ashish is a man who has a wealth of talent and experience as compared to his young co star who plays Pooki. Yet regardless of the experience these actors know how to hold their ground. I did not see that today. Raghav's character totally overshadowed Pooki's. It felt as though he had to put more into the scene because she just was not delivering the intensity and range of emotion which the scene demanded. I watched the scene and felt as though I was in a rehearsal room watching two persons try to make a scene work. The characters in my opinion did not connect at all. There was nothing between them. Whatever they were trying to convey didn't register on screen and it's not the actors fault. Sometimes two actors just can't compliment each other.
This was a huge confrontation scene. I think it was suppose to be one of the most important scenes of the serial and it fell short.
Now I skip to the intense scenes with Ashish and Rachna. Just like Pooki she is also young. I think she has more experience than Pooki but at the same time she is up against this actor who is much more experienced than her. Yet, when I see their scenes she is just phenomenal. Young she is, but wow. She just holds her ground. Her delivery of the dialogue is impeccable. She shifts from hurt, to anger, to despair, adapting her acting to fit into the scene as it demands it. She manages to match Ashish's intensity so that Raghav's character is not able to overshadow hers. When he shines, she equally shines. They just compliment each other and it registers on screen so while when watching Raghav and Pooki I think they are acting, when I watch Raghav and Kalpana, I think it is so real.
And this is why I hope this track wraps up soon. The acting between Raghav and Pooki looks forced and I don't wanna see that for much longer.
