Happy and proud was Vitthal on the day he got his two daughters married to the love of their lives.It had been a long wait for Daksh and Kalpi.Workacoholic that she was,Kalpi had insisted that she clear all the backlog in the company before the wedding.Daksh had agreed.But ,these days Daksh always agreed with Kalpi on any issue,teased Disha.If tomorrow Kalpi said the sky was orange,he would still shake his head.Sammy conceded that Daksh was indeed smart.Even before marrying her,he had realised that the key to a successful wedding lay in saying yes to the woman...and so the banter went on and on.
If any one had surmised that the intervening months of separation would take a toll on their long distance relationship,they could not have misjudged more.Daksh and Kalpi only grew closer with each day ,even though they were apart.They came to realise that they were indeed meant to be...how they complemented each other,they were like two parts of a whole.
There was not a single day that Daksh failed to thank his mother for that wonderful advise she had given him...to thank his stars for giving him the brains to follow it...to thank God for sending Kalpana to him.There was nothing more he wanted than to embark on his new life.He now had it all..career,family,love.Only a few fortunate people in the world would be as blessed as him
Kalpi on her part,thanked her luck.She now firmly believed that she was, in fact ,never had been unlucky.Everything that occurs in a person's life,she thought,did so with a purpose.The tragic turn of events that had taken place to put her through such turmoil was convened by the forces to bring Daksh into her life.To make her fall in love with a person who valued relationships just like her,who respected women,who put his family above all.Daksh was like her mirror image on matters of import.That was why they knew that no matter what the times ahead,they would stick together,through thick and thin.
JD constructions would now be managed by Sammy and Disha.Daksh and Kalpi would of course continue to remain on the board,but the field work was now in Sammy's hands.Vitthal had opted to stay back in India.It was a strange mix of both joy and sorrow as he lifted his daughter's dholi to see her off.Many years ago,he had thought that dream was finished.But now,it was a bigger,brighter and better dream...his daughter was starting her journey with a wonderful person,who looked upon his rajkumari like a queen and treated her as one.
Kamala had been right on that one count only..."jab woh seth ke bete ki samajh me aayega,tabtak bahooth dher ho chuki hogi" .it was true.Raghav had realised his mistake.But it had been too late,for kalpi had moved on.
As the flight took off ,Kalpi looked into Daksh' eyes and smiled.he caught her hands in his and raised it to his lips.From now on we are going to fly,sweetheart,"he said,"we will soar up in the sky together,now and forever."
"Anywhere with you,Darling,"she said,resting her head on his shoulder.
She felt she had finally come a gull circle.her life was complete.
