Part 23
Everyday Kalpana, Raghav, and Tanya would go off for their work and meet up for dinner. They were all very busy.
On the sets of Ek Mutthi Aasman😆, Sonia and Durga were up to no good. Everyday they would irritate Kalpi and get away with it as well.
"Durga Ji please!" Kalpana said one day when Durga had been following her all around.
"I am sure you are capable enough to be the main lead, but your age is way too much to be the actual heroine" Kalpana tried her very best to explain.
Durga unfortunately took it the wrong way. "Are you making fun of me Jadhav?" she asked angrily.
She snapped her fingers and said, "Two days, and I swear I'll get you replaced."
Kalpana pressed her lips together nervously. This woman could do anything at all.
"I don't care" Kalpana said with a frown.
Meanwhile, Sonia was up to her own schemes. When no one was looking, she slipped in and puts something in Kalpi's make up.
Kalpana who was unaware of all this was just about to go get ready for the scene.
"Come on Bobby, you know I am naturally beautiful" Kalpana joked with a peer before walking off.
As soon as Kalpana applied the make up she felt her face burning a little and itchy as well.
Kalpana let out a cry of pain. "What the-"
"Guys!" she screamed. As her make-up artists came in she said, "Guys, look what just happened!" "Isn't there proper make-up here?!"
"Mam, we had no idea about this-" one of them started to say.
Kalpana faced the mirror and gasped. She didn't look so pretty. She let out a sob and covered her face with her hands.
"I look terrible!" she wailed. "Guys, what have y'all done?!" Kalpana hollered angrily.
"Drama Queen" one of them whispered and the two people started chuckling a little.
"Call the doctor" someone said urgently.
Rocky came over to Kalpana and told her to take her hands away.
His eyes widened when he saw Kalpi's condition. "Um.. you'll be fine Kalpi" he mumbled.
A few minutes later, the doctor was there and prescribed a cream for Kalpana to apply for a few days until her face was back to normal. "Skin irritation might occur sometimes" the doctor told Kalpi. "Just keep applying this."
"Well" the director said after the doctor had gone out. "We certainly can't have you shoot in this situation."
"What do you mean?" Kalpana asked, remembering what Durga had said to her earlier.
"You just need a break for a few days" the director said. "We'll manage.."
"How do we manage?!" Sonia exclaimed. "What excuse is there for the main character to be missing?!"
"What excuse is there for you to be allowed to mess with my make-up?" Kalpana yelled angrily.
"I know Sonia that you and Durga are jealous of me!"
"What rubbish.." Sonia muttered as she cast a worried look towards Durga.
"Stop arguing ladies" the director said obviously tired of all the fighting. "Kalpana, you may leave for now."
"I'll drop you off" Rocky offered to which Kalpana nodded and said, "Let's go."

By the time Kalpana got home, she realized that no one was back yet. She shrugged as Rocky led her in.
"Nice house" Rocky said looking around.
"It's Raghav's" Kalpi said automatically.
Rocky took a seat on the couch. "Well, he's a great actor that's for sure."
"The best!" Kalpana announced proudly as she took a seat as well.
"Mam would you like anything?" a person said rushing up to them.
Kalpana said, "Bring two coffees Bhaiya."
After the servant was gone, Kalpana found Rocky looking at her with a smile on his face.
"What?" she asked him in confusion.
"You looked like Mrs. Singhania when you were ordering the servant." Rocky said.
Kalpana smiled shyly. "Well, I'll soon be."
Rocky spoke up. "Also, Kalpi.. I think Sonia and Durga might have done this."
Kalpana looked up at Rocky. "You believe me?" she asked him.
"Yes, you're my friend Kalpana and I trust you" Rocky said. "But the main question is what's their problem?"
"You're too innocent Rocky" Kalpana told him and she explained to him how Durga-Sonia yearned for attention.
"Oh" Rocky said when Kalpana had finished. "I think you'll have to be extra careful at work then" Rocky said.
Kalpana nodded. "I knew they were jealous of me but I didn't think that they would stoop so low."
"I'll handle them" Rocky said angrily. "I can't believe why some women can be so selfish."
"No Rocky" Kalpana said. "I'll handle them." "No listen- they are my enemies and I know how to handle them."
"You sure?" Rocky asked. Kalpana nodded and said, "Yes."
By the time Kalpana got home, she realized that no one was back yet. She shrugged as Rocky led her in.

That night when Tanya and Raghav returned home they were shocked to see Kalpana's state.
Raghav was furious. "Name that person Kalpi, I will not spare them!"
"Durga and Sonia.." Tanya said, remembering her last conversation with Kalpi. "Yes, Kalpi say they did this to you."
Kalpana shook her head sadly. "They did do this Raghav, who else would?"
Raghav clenched his fist and noticing his anger Kalpana said, "Oh please Raghav, this is my problem and I can handle it."
"Your problem is also my problem Kalpi!" Raghav told her. "You don't worry, I'll complain against them-"
"No Raghav, why don't you understand?" Kalpana asked him a little angrily. "I'm not a baby and I can manage 4 of them if I had to."
"Kalpi.." Raghav started to say but Kalpi shook her head. "Please Raghav. Let me be strong."
"Fine" Raghav said as he sat back down. "Just take care of yourself."
Later, during dinner Raghav told Kalpi about all the times in his career up until now when there were people who had been jealous of him.
"You just have to deal with them" Raghav told Kalpi. "You'll always come across people like that."
Kalpana nodded. She grinned at Tanya. "I am learning lots from your bro."
Tanya laughed. "He's always there Kalps. If you ever need any advice."
Raghav looked at the two ladies. "Uh-oh" he mumbled as he looked from Kalpi to Tanya.
Both of them had teamed up against him.😆
That night when Tanya and Raghav returned home they were shocked to see Kalpana's state.
