Chapter 53

RagNa Bedroom

Kalpi is talking on the phone moving from one end of the room to the other scolding the poor soul on line...making sure everything is perfect for the double wedding.

Raghav POV: Ahh...this angel...she will make sure everything is perfect around her and hide all her worries and sorrows...

Kalpi(sighing loudly closing eyes and folding hands): God...Please be with us tomorrow...and let this wedding happen without any glitches...

Raghav comes from behind holds her closer her back to his chest and whispers in her ear, "you are everyone's saving grace...with you around nothing can go bad!".

K: Raghav, you pamper me too much...don't your friends call you a wuss?

R: I have you as my wife...I don't care what the world calls me...I still win by having you by my side...

K(teary): I love you...Flowers...

R: I love...wait !what flowers

K: I have to call the florist make sure they deliver lilies for Prem & Maya's side and orchids for Tania and Rahul's side...

R(nods disapprovingly): This is me and you time...I refuse to share you with Rahul any more than I have too. Shouldn't he or Tania..or someelse be calling and prepping ...why you...

K: I don't get yours and Rahul's friendship/obsession...You both make me feel like tug of war rope...hmpp

R: It's...I don't know...fine call your florist but I shall be waiting in the cold, lonely bed without the love of my life...snuggling a cold pillow...

K: I am sure you won't regret it...Kalpi leaves from there but Raghav goes in flashback...

R POV: Regret...wow...I haven't thought about that since Kalpi became my wife...I should tell her but what if she willfully misunderstands me again...I don't know I can't lose Kalpi...

Flashback

In USA while Raghav was in college with revenge on his mind and little or less money to claim...He met Manisha Tandon. She was the daughter of a rich Indian man whose mother abandoned them when she was 1 week old and ran with her lover. Raghav knew about Manisha's dad finances and thought if he could befriend Manisha maybe he could get a job at Tandon Constructions and start his career in college itself.

Raghav was still forming a plan when he heard a frail voice calling out for help...There was one thin sickly looking girl with four guys ganging up on her and Raghav saved the girl by knocking the other guys only to find destiny gameplay...since the girl was Manisha...They became friends and through her, Raghav got the break he was looking for and by the time of graduation, he already had set his own company in US.

Raghav in this period felt that Manisha had misunderstood his friendship...his heart went out for her being motherless and all but he never felt anything more for her and their friendship ended on a bad note when all of the sudden Manisha blamed him for her father's death...Her last words still echoing in his head, "I maybe weak at this point but one day everything you own, everything you love shall be mine... I promise to return Raghav Singhania!"

Kalpi comes to their bedroom and calls out Raghav's attention who is lost in his own thoughts...Kalpi jumps on the bed and starts tickling Raghav...who then brushes off the past and endeavor his time with his beloved...

In the dark house

A sickly woman talking to a portrait...I promise I will avenge your death baba...and everything Raghav Singhania holds dear shall be ours...

Manisha talking loudly to portrait: It is entirely his fault...your suicide... you put Raghav on his feet...made him rich and this is how he repaid you... Uncle Roshan told me how Raghav took our company secrets and became competition...I didn't love him but I thought he might have the decency to marry the daughter of the man who made him capable but no...Had he married me...we wouldn't been bankrupt and you wouldn't be forced to take you own life...

I will destroy his happiness...their servant will obey my every whim to see his daughter alive and will keep giving her birth control in juice...making her believe she can never conceive...then I will enter their lives to make her feel more pathetic and drive her to suicide...then and only then my revenge will be complete...then Raghav Singhania will know what it feels like to lose a loved one ...I feel sorry for the chit but she married Raghav and that is her destiny for coming in my way...I have to take my revenge!

Character Sketch

Tandon: Hard working man who build his empire but was deceived by a foe disguised as friend, Roshan...who more or else drove him to suicide... but Mr. Tandon had hidden a letter in the portrait he knew his daughter will cherish...

Roshan: Money and Power hungry toady guy...who keeps Manisha in a leash and keeps the flame of anguish alive in her...

Manisha: Sickly constitution and emotionally broken after losing the one person who loved her unconditionally...
