Chapter 51

Drive to Hall

Kalpi decided for their plan to work instead of hiring a bus to go to the location they should go via car and according to her plan...Tania's parents insisted that Ajay and Tania travel together while Rahul escorts them to the venue...

Rahul was initially reluctant but agreed when Kalpi and Tania's folk insisted that if Tania got a hint that this is all a plan...she will run away from it all...leaving Rahul little or no choice in the matter...He did though kindly(cough cough) warned Ajay for behaving properly...with Kalpi snickering behind...

Tania was disappointed to share a ride with Ajay but her parents convinced her this way...they will get to know Rahul better and will deem if he is worthy...

Car Ride

So Rahul, Kalpi, Tania's parents, and Kamla sat in one car while grumpy Raghav, Gauri, Prem Tania, Ajay and equally grumpy Vitthal sat in the other car...Amrita, Pakya, Sammy, Paakhi, Aryan and Maya came via the third car...

It was in the car when Kamla realized there was something familiar about Tania's mother (Priya) and after inquiring they found out that Priya's mother was the woman who gave Kamla the power to dream ...she like Kamla made Priya study but because of poverty they made Priya wed Tania's dad (Karan). Priya who had graduated with a degree made Karan follow his dreams and she would work days and he would work nights for them to complete their education by the time they became parents to Tania...they wanted to give her everything so they focused on their careers rather than for her and regretted they missed out on so much...By the end of the story everyone was moved to tears and Kamla encouraged them to tell this story to Tania who would be proud to have parents like her and would understand their reasons like Kalpi forgave her for her mistakes...

Kalpi decided to lighten the mood with purposing a game of Antakshri for the rest of the journey...

Mehndi hall

Gauri Ma had taken care of the clothing synchronization previously and guys had to wear their favorite color stoles while girls had to wear their guy's favorite color dupattas...Tania has a choice to wear electric blue(Rahul's choice) or parrot green (Ajay's choice)...

Like all the previous weddings...both the bride and groom wanted to start and finish the rituals as fast as possible for their honeymoon to start...

Maya was dressed in green and yellow lehngha while Paakhi, Tania, Amrita and Kalpi wore similar red blouse and blue lehnga with their significant others favorite color dupattas...while the men wore white kurta pajama with their favorite color scarfs...

The girls were inside the hall and the guys came in with Prem dancing all the way on wedding type beats...

Raghav pulled Kalpi on the dance floor making her dance with him before Rahul could impede but Rahul was awestruck seeing Tania who had worn electric blue dupatta making Rahul feel at the top of the world...he fumbled as he or rather when equally fumbled Tania were dragged on the dance floor by Sammy who warned them by saying "Be Safe Kids!" making both blush!

Paakhi hit Sammy on the shoulder to which he cheekily grinned and whisked Paakhi on the dance floor...

Amrita was busy stuffing appiizers in her tummy and Pakya was busy fulfilling his pregnant wife's tantrums...while Kamla and Vitthal were observing and snickering at the love around the place...

Prem was staring at Maya and her mehndi...it was like they both were talking though their eyes...

Gauri had tears in her eyes seeing so much happiness around the place and no vibe of negativity...

After a lot of dancing Gauri persuaded all the girls/married women to put henna on ...

Kalpi and Raghav were reliving moments of their own mehndi and were laughing at the follies they conducted before their wedding and how stubborn and head strong they were...

Sammy was pushing making Paakhi eat dinner and admiring her henna when he leaned forth, "don't you think Aryan needs a baby sister to play with?" making Paakhi blush...

Prem and Maya took this as an opportunity and ran towards the rooftop for some alone/make out time

Tania who was surrounded by both Ajay and Rahul tried to keep conversation flowing...Rahul was already mad that Ajay spend time with Tania in the car tried to divert Tania's attention like an enthusiastic puppy who wanted to please her while Ajay tried bar minimum and was more busy checking out other girls...

T POV: Here is Rahul whose all attention and focus is on me...I will speak to mom and dad...they have to say yes to Rahul...I ...I I love him...I love Rahul...but do I trust him...

As if God answered her query...A hot and barely dressed girl approached Rahul ..

Girl: OMG, you the famous documentary director...I love your work and I must admit you look way hotter in person than your pictures...

R(gulping): Umm...Miss...can't you see I am busy...thank you for appreciating my work but please refrain such comments...the love of my life doesn't like to share...

Tania(shocked but happy screams: I love you Rahul Malhotra...stunning the whole room!

Rahul(shocked to the core) smiles and hugs Tania and screams if possible more loudly I love you to Tania...with every fiber/cell in my body...and kneels on the ground...I don't if this is the most Bollywoodic proposal but will you Tania take me to be your always loyal and super hot n handsome husband?

Kalpi pinches the DJ to play the song...Mujhsey Shaadi Karogi?...

Tania replies Yes...

Her parents act to seem stern but question Tania is her happiness with Rahul and does she trust him whole heartedly...to which she replies Yes and they agree to give RaNia their blessings...

Ajay who acts sad and insists that all will be forgiven if Tania introduces him to the hot girl who was flirting with Rahul...which she more than happily does...

They newly betrothed couple is enjoying compliments and wishes...when Tania asks Rahul did he do in wedding ceremonies before she came into his life...

Rahul: I would do what Ajay is doing...going after my flowers...being the main bee...

Tania who has a cake piece nearby smashed it in Rahul face...go swim and die in this cake frosting hmppp...

Rahul with all the cake and shock carries Tania to room ...throws her on the bed and assures her that his past was past...but his present and future is Tania...Mrs. Malhotra...and the cake frosting ending up in their stomachs through all the kissing, nibbling and licking...

Precap: Wedding with more celebration...but is this the happiness before the storm
