Chapter 31

Because of all the wedding arrangements Kalpi requested Raghav not to pick her up from home and after much pestering and promises of kiss, he agreed.

K POV: God, this Raghav will make me go crazy. This is what single kids are like spoilt brats...Thank god...Me and dada aren't that spoilt...I will make sure we have at least 2 kids...I don't think world can afford two egoistic and stubborn kids, Raghav and ours. God what am I thinking! It is all Raghav's fault!

R POV: 2 kisses...hehe My day is going to go awesome! Plus with the surprise, I'm in for a treat! Kalpi, what have you reduced me too...sheesh...the Great RS is pondering and enthusiastic about a kiss...well with your succulent lips, it is justified...God Kalpi!! This is all your fault...I'm fighting with myself.

Office

Kalpi is busy finishing her work; Raghav was going to be late because of some meeting and asked her to wind her work in an hour. Raghav, meanwhile, is busy making arrangements for the date perfect.

Raghav comes behind Kalpi in office and whispers in her ear, "Such focus future Mrs. SInghania, I'm impressed with your work dedication now how about some for me? " Kalpi gasps.."Aap"

Raghav,"Haan main, now let's go or I will be tempted to gather you in my arms and take you."

Kalpi gets into the car, Raghav drives but as soon as he reaches a secluded area, he stops the car and demands his kisses. Kalpi is reluctant but he convinces her, she promised and kissing on the actual location would cause her more embarrassment than this loneliness in car. They share a long passionate kiss with Kalpi in Raghav's lap; both running their arms on each other's neck and hair.

Orphanage auditorium

Raghav blindfolds Kalpi and takes her to the auditorium hall, which is decorated with lace curtains and orchids along with fairy lights. He removes the blindfold causing Kalpi to jump in excitement seeing the kids along with arrangements. Raghav takes Kalpi towards a small stage and announces,

Each year from RS constructions 15% of the profit's money would be donated to this school in Kalpana Vitthal Yadav's name. Kalpana is a woman who changed her future with her own hard work and motivation to dream like her mother does. This petite girl started out as a daughter of a house maid but changed her destiny and if you all follow her as a role model, I believe each and every one of you can change your future. She has changed my revenue by doubling it and taught me a great life lesson! To find happiness in the smallest things. Raghav hands the microphone to Kalpi.

Kalpi overwhelmed with emotions, I used to where you are standing, I'm not an orphan but I grew up in the hostel and understand the loneliness you feel but make each other your strength. I was lucky to find a mother in my teacher. She taught me many lessons along with my parents but her best advice to me was, you are the lone person that can build or break you...It is up to you which you want to pick! I will make sure to work hard so you get the maximum amount for the profit's share but you all in turn have to study hard and play harder along with learning computers! Now come give me hug!!!

The kids are cheering the young couple like they found someone to rely on, a parental figure. Raghav and Kalpi enjoy their lunch with the kids and then play water fight with them in the playground.

The wardens then took the kids for their recession as over and school was in session.

Raghav comes behind Kalpi and dries her hair with the towel. Kalpi blushes and points to kids' presence.

R: So, I'm showing them care and support. Kalpi in teasing mood too, turns and dries Raghav's hair.

R: Have you ever been dares to do something wild?

K: yes, why...

R: Then I dare you to kiss me under the towels. I know you a coward won't do it.

K: I'm the girl who stood 45 minutes on one leg for a dare, this is...she grabs his shirt and pulls him closer giving him a hard, biteful kiss on the lips.

K: Never challenge me (winks). Now let's leave, I have to get dressed for dada's haldi/mehndi. We are collaborating both functions in a day!

R: Uggh then, that Prakash will be there...I don't like him...He is

K: Amrita's cousin brother and that is all too it. So chill Mr. Caveman.

Chawl Celebrations

Prakash is yearning after Kalpi who is droned in a white and blue saree. Raghav was admiring his Kalpi who looked breath-taking. She put Haldi on both Pakhya and Amrita when Prakash asks if she could put it on him too. Kalpi ignores and moves from there but Raghav is furious with his fists all rolled up.

Raghav not wanting to create a scene stays quiet but watches Prakash like a hawk.

R POV: Why is his gaze following Kalpi so intently, Uggh I want to break his neck. Who does he think he is?

Haldi is completed and they start putting Mehndi on Amrita while all the guys are dancing and girls are irritating boys with the Mehndi smell or dancing. Rghav, Sammy, Pakhya, Prakash and Rahul dance on shaadi songs. Before Kalpi can put Mehndi Raghav drags her onto dance floor and on cue Tere Naina is playing, SaKhi join so no one objects RagNa, and soon all couples are on the floor grooving.

Prakash POV: Wth..why is her boss dancing with an employee like that? What a cheap girl but she is sexy...and in that white...she is looking bomb...All I have to do is drug her on Shaadi day and make sure all catch us in compromising position and we will be married and I will be rich!(disgusting... I feel like stabbing him right now)

Raghav while dancing pulls Kalpi close, "I don't like that guy's intentions, he is up to something."Kalpi,"I know, I feel something is up too now...It's okay, the wedding will be over in two days' time and I will steer clear".

R: You look beautiful, gorgeous...I don't have words...and I rather have you locked up in a room than be around men.

K: Possessive much?

R: Says the girl who couldn't see me dancing with another girl.

The song ended and before Prakash could jump in next song Rahul took Kalpi's hand and they grooved on Ladki kyon?(Hum Tum) . Rahul made sure Kalpi gets her mehndi done next, so Prakash didn't get a chance to dance with her.

K POV: I feel like toy form Raghav to Rahul...one my everything and one my best friend...Both equally over possessive...Thank you God for giving me such people in my life! Baba, dada, Ma, Rahul and Raghav complete my life fully!

Raghav casually drops by near Kalpi's mehndi lady and asks her to write a huge R on her hands. Kalpi is blushing but doesn't say no.
