So I hear that we have lots of mixed feelings about the past episode. Don't worry, this isn't a post that's going to defend anything or be super heavy with analysis. I am too tired for that.
I know people are super into Kalpi being ignored by Raghav but I truly felt bad for her. I mean, she was ready to talk na? Why didn't Sammy just let her talk? Why make things more complicated? I don't understand humans sometimes. When things are actually so simple, why make things way more complicated by bringing up more problems because you think that will make things better? It was very obvious from the way Kalpi kept on calling him that she wanted to clear the air. Wasn't that what Raghav needed? Why did Sammy tell him to push her? (Yeah yeah, you're going to say that it's because he wants her to realize Raghav's importance. But that's the thing! She does. She knows how important he is already) I mean, what if, knowing Kalpi's previous reservations about Raghav, she gets very upset and ends up doing something that will backfire at their plan? This track is actually making me sort of anxious - and for very different reasons. But am I the only one who's actually not enjoying this anymore? It's not that humorous to me.
And wow, 30 day challenge already over? Like what? It barely started two weeks ago in the show 😕 Plus I wanted them to show more of how capable she is. I liked that track because it showed a lot of potential. What happened there?
Anyways, so because I am actually very annoyed at what happened today, I am going to write a scenario that may or may not happen (most likely won't happen). Either way, it's more like fanfiction than anything. Before you read this, Please don't throw tomatoes at me for this. Because I know some of you will be upset at me after reading this - And that's completely fine but consider yourself warned.
It starts from the time where Raghav goes in his office and Kalpi was still standing by her desk. Here goes:
Kalpi sat down, and gulped down her tears. She was not going to cry her eyes out for a boss who seemed to stop caring at all. She took deep breaths to calm herself down. No Kalpi! He has a right to be mad at you. Besides, you wanted it to stay professional right? So, this is the best way it could go about. Let it go. She shook her head to clear it and turned to her computer. She will have to have to give an answer to this situation today itself since it was her last day. She opened a document, and got to work.
Raghav seemed restless, and had to physically stop himself from looking into her direction. Not only did she look delightful in that outfit, her eyes were calling out to him. He could see the pain he had caused by his words and for a sec, his resolved weakened. He mentally cursed Sammy for coming in between and stopping him from going to her because he just couldn't see her hurt. Not only that, his heart was beating really fast due to the anticipation of it all.
He fisted his hand and turned to go towards her when Sammy came in front of him again. He saw Sammy nod his head in a 'no' and turned away again. How was he going to work like this? It was her that's supposed to be feeling distracted, not him. Why was this all reverse? She seemed to be working fine, as if nothing had happened. It was almost closing time and she didn't turn his way at all. Was she mad at him? Was she hurt more than he anticipated? She didn't even turn when he came out to go for lunch. She just looked in their direction briefly and went back to work. Even when Sammy asked her if she had lunch yet, she politely told him that she had some work to finish and she could not have lunch yet. Of course, since he was giving her attitude, he couldn't say anything to her. So he just kept mum. Now it was all wrong! It was making him so anxious.
He jumped when he realized that there was a knock on the door. He looked up to see it was Kalpi and indicated for her to come in. He looked to the clock and noted that it was about the closing time. She had come to give him the answer to his question before. He took a deep breath. For some reason, his heart was thudding and it was not a good thing even though Sammy had assured him that the answer would be yes. He took a deep breath to prepare himself for her again and turned towards her.
"So, Ms. Jadhav. What's your answer? Are you going to stay or resign today?"
Without saying anything to Raghav, she came forward and kept two envelopes.
Raghav looked at her confused. Why were there two envelopes?
"Sir, I appreciate everything that you've done for me and my family. I have wronged you sometimes but I had my reasons. I still stand by those reasons, even though my approach was wrong. Either way, I just wanted you to know that. These are two letters. One is an apology letter, which I have been trying to directly communicate with you for. That didn't work so well. So that's why the letter. The other one is my resignation letter. After a lot of thought, I have decided that it's better if I don't work here anymore. Thank you so very much for this opportunity, but I think it's better if I leave and pursue my dream elsewhere."
Raghav was too dumbfounded to say anything. He just sat there completely shocked as he saw her open the door and exit, without waiting for his reply.
Yes, his heart was right from the very beginning, he shouldn't have pushed her too far.
Good thing is that I don't think something like this would happen in EMA. If it does happen, I am sure that it would be a build up to a confession or some sort of highly emotional scene between RagNa. I am pretty sure of that. So, this was just a little drama piece until you wait for that moment when they do express their feelings to each other. So, don't take this seriously. It's just for fun because I was a little annoyed with Sammy today. Don't hate me 😆
