Prologue-
Kalpi- Kalpi is an 18 year old girl. She is a poor girl and loves her mother Kamla dearly, But unfortunately, Kamla doesn't love her because she's adopted. Her mother always tell her that how she's a curse to her. She is very smart in studies but needs to drop out from school because her Dad, Vitthal is sick from Tuberculosis. Kalpi always dreamt of a happy family. When she was a baby, Her biological mother sold her to Kamla for the sake of buying a gun to kill his biological father. Kamla tricked her to work at a restaurant but It turned out Kamla sold her prostitution. This made Kalpi very furious to Kamla and wants to seek revenge at any cost.
Kamla - She is a very selfish woman. She is around her early forties. She bought Kalpi when she was a baby. Because she was unable to conceive a baby. She now hates Kalpi and treats her like an animal. She told Kalpi to drop out from school as she has no money to pay for her school fees. Her main goal is to move Kalpi away from her and make her work as a prostitute at a nearby club. She is now the target of Kalpi.
Vitthal- He is a very loving father and a very kind-hearted person. He is around his early forties. He loves Kalpi very much like she's her own daughter and he's the only support Kalpi has in her life. He suffers from Tuberculosis and cannot go to work. He is unaware that his wife, Kamla forced Kalpi into prostitution. His dream is to make Kalpi successful in her life by giving her good education.
Pakhi- Pakhi is Kalpi's friend. She is a year elder than Kalpi. She met Kalpi at the club. She is also a prostitute. She had a very bad childhood. They friendship started when she first saw Kalpi crying and went there to comfort her. From that day, they became friends. She supports Kalpi and wants to get her out from the club. One day, she and Kalpi thought of a plan to escape from the club and were successful. She is Kalpi's one and only support.
Mrs. Cruz- She is the owner of The Pub where Pakhi and Kalpi are working as prostitutes. She's runs an illegal racket. She and Kamla made a deal to never let Kalpi escape from the pub. She always punishes Kalpi for not doing her job properly. She has an Italian boyfriend named Luigi. Her bodyguards are Ramesh and Suresh.
Ramesh and Suresh- They are Mrs. Cruz's bodyguards. They are hired for watching Kalpi's each and every step. But they were not successful when Kalpi and Pakhi escaped from the Pub one midnight.
Raghav-He's a very kind and sweet boy. He is 22 years old. He is in love with Kalpi. But Kalpi thinks he's just like other boys and rejected him. He proved Kalpi that he isn't like other boys and Kalpi started to develop feelings for him. He loves painting and has his own art work shop. He loves painting Kalpi's face.He promised Kalpi that one day he'll marry her. He understands Kalpi's pain and knows about her depressing past. He supports Kalpi's each and every decision.
Sammy- He is Raghav's childhood friend. He always supports Raghav and Kalpi. He is like a brother figure to Kalpi. He is in love with Pakhi and always pleases her and gives her gifts.
I made this ss very different from EMA serial. But the names of the characters are the same. Some words that occur in this ss such as "prostitute" may not be suitable for all readers. Readers prescription is adviced.
Guys, I really suck in writing ss. I hope this is understandable. This is inspired from a documentary that I watched yesterday. So I hope you like it and I'll only continue if you guys will say so.😊
