Part 19
Kalpana sat on the bed away from Panther,glaring
at him,while he was enjoying his food "Take a
picture..it'll last longer" he said all of a sudden.
Kalpana frowned at him "I would but I don't have
any sort of device in my hand right now"
Panther chuckled "Now you know how I feel"
"You deserve to be here..I don't.In fact it's
because of you I am stuck here"
Panther nodded "I don't regret it at all" He put
the empty tray on the floor "So what do you
want to do?"
"Wait for someone to come" Kalpana said
standing up and going up to the bars.She looked
around and sighed when she didn't see anyone.
Panther followed her and stood directly behind
her and leaned towards her.He whispered "Let's
do something together" Kalpana pursed her
lips.Turning around she stomped on his foot hard
"Oww" yelped Panther.
"And this is what I think of you and your idea"
Kalpana said turning to go to the bed.
"And I thought you wanted to know about the
niece" Kalpana stopped.The secret of the niece
caught her attention really well.She turned
towards Panther "I do"
Panther smiled at her and took a step towards
her.She took one back.He took another step
forward and she took another behind.She finally
hit the wall.She looked at him curiously.Panther
caged her between her arms and gazed into her
eyes.They could feel each other's body
heat.Kalpana gulped,feeling her heart go
wild.Panther leaned towards her so their faces
were inches apart "The niece..she is very
beautiful" he said slowly trailing a finger down
her cheek "her hair is as dark as the night and
gives a wonderful scent" he caressed her hair
"her eyes are the most beautiful with the most
beautiful shade of light..they express whatever
she is thinking,whatever she is feeling...if you by
any chance tell her a secret,her eyes could tell
someone else even if she didn't want to" he
caressed her closed eyes "her heart is so pure
and innocent that you would just want to keep
her for yourself and never let her go" he kissed
her cheeks.Taking a deep breath,he glanced at
the clock hung outside the cell.Reluctantly letting
Kalpana go,he took a step back and looked
away.He said in a straight voice"She doesn't
know anything of her past and has a decent
job" Kalpana opened her eyes,hearing his voice
farther than before.
Kalpana opened her mouth to say something but
was immediately interrupted "Kalpana!"
"Dad" Kalpana whispered.
"There you are" said the General,as he picked
up the keys from the floor and unlocked the
cell.Kalpana exited the cell and the General
locked it up again "What were you doing in
there?" the General asked.
"She gave me company in this cell when I asked
her" Panther said.
The General nodded "Let's go"
"Wait dad" stopped Kalpana "Where is all the
security"
"S-security?"
"Sir we are here" said a constable,followed by
the rest.
"Where were you?..you were supposed to be
here for the night" questioned Kalpana.
"Uh...we were on break"
"For an hour?" she questioned further "I know
because I was here for that hour"
The constable gulped and looked down "Sorry
Ma'am"
The General nodded "It was an honest
mistake,just make sure you don't do it again"
he looked at Kalpana "I'll wait for you in the car"
Kalpana nodded.The General left.
"So Kalpana" started off Panther "When's the
next time you are going to come and give me
company?"
"Not even in your dreams" she shot at him.
"You don't even want to know what happens in
my dream..nor will you be able to hear it and
nor will I be able to say it" Kalpana widened her
eyes in curiosity but she decided not to waste
her time on him.Glancing at him for the last
time,she left.Panther sighed as he watched her
leave "You will be mine one day Kalpi and that
day isn't far...then I'll fulfill my dreams with you"
he smirked.

Panther's words kept echoing in her mind which
he spoke about the niece.She sighed 'Why can't
I get him out of my mind?'.Kalpana lied down on
her bed getting ready to sleep.A cool wind
passed through her making her shiver.She got up
and closed the window.She scrunched her
eyes.It wasn't closing properly.She pulled it up
and noticed there was a folded paper.She
picked it up and closed the window.Sitting on
her bed,Kalpana unfolded it.It read:
You will be mine one day and that day will come
soon.We are meant to be.I hope after tomorrow
when you find out the truth you won't mind that I
kept it from you.I just want to tell you that after
all that we've been through,I love you and
always did.

Kalpana gulped.'Who is this MRS?Should I tell
dad?Maybe I shouldn't..this MRS probably
threw it to the wrong window' Throwing the letter
in the garbage bin beside her night stand,Kalpana
lied down on her bed and fell asleep.

The next morning when Kalpana arrived to the
police station,she was immediately surprised by
the riot.The cells were full of criminals but the
constables and inspectors were going all over
the placeThe General seemed worried "What
happened?" Kalpana said out loud,capturing
everybody's attention.
"P-Panther escaped w-with his gang l-last
night" revealed one inspector
Kalpana gasped "What"
"If we find a way to officially capture him and
his gang,we will officially capture everyone from
the underworld"
Everybody got back to their questioning to one
another while Kalpana just gazed on.She went to
Panther's cell.It was empty as if he was never
there.She recalled the previous night.He had
been quite mysterious but yet cool and
calm.Kalpana clenched her fist "How do you
manage to escape and get your way every
time?"
She looked around as if looking for an answer
but sighed.Suddenly her eyes caught a folded
piece of paper,lying on the bed.Grabbing it she
opened it.It had an address on it and a small
note underneath
To Kalpana,
If you want to get me and my gang
under your control,come to the address written
above ALONE at 5 pm.We will be there.I promise
you won't regret it.

Kalpana looked up from the piece of paper and
pressed her lips together "I will come"
