Part 12
Kalpana gasped.She pressed on the trigger again but nothing happened.The gun was empty...and Raghav knew it.'He must've also known I would try to escape' Kalpana figured out.She looked up at Raghav who stood expressionless.He took a step towards her and grabbed the gun from her and pushed it down his wide pocket.He looked at her and gritted his teeth "Trying to escape again,I see"
Kalpana gulped "I-I"
"JUST SHUT UP" he yelled.Kalpana flinched.She didn't dare look back at him "Last time I had told you,if you tried to escape,I would keep you in my room or lock you up in a room,alone...I kept you with me and also allowed you to roam freely in the mansion...but now seeing you escape again is not a good thing...from now on you can only be in the room..no more wandering around in the mansion..and I also don't want to see trying to escape again because trust me..the outcome will not be good" Kalpana took a step back,listening to the intensity of his voice.He looked at the guards "Nothing should go in or out of my room without my permission" The guards nodded.
Raghav looked back at Kalpana and held her wrist.He dragged her upstairs while she kept trying to fight him off.He was too strong for her but she didn't give up.She held the railing with one hand while he tried to pull her.Seeing her make no move to let go of the railing,he let go of her wrist and just stood there,a few feet away from her.Kalpana took that chance and tried to make a run for it.She let go of the railing and nearly began running but was caught.He caught her wrist and pulled her into his arms.Carrying a struggling Kalpana inside the room,he dumped her on the bed.Kalpana immediately stood up.Raghav took out a key and left the room.Kalpana ran to the door but it was immediately closed on her.She heard a key move into the door and gasped.He was locking her in the room.Kalpana banged on the door,Not listening to any of her pleas,Raghav left.Kalpana tried opening the door but with no luck.She began crying a little and leaned against the door on the ground.She didn't know when she fell asleep.

Kalpana woke up at 10:00 am the next morning.She was on the bed.She wondered how she got there.She looked up and saw Raghav at the door,with a guard.The guard was holding a tray of food for breakfast.Raghav gestured the guard and he put the tray on the table and left.Raghav closed the door.He took the tray and walked to her.Placing the tray on the bed next to her,he sat on the bed"Good morning Kalpi...we have to go somewhere today"
"Where" she asked curiously.
"Somewhere" he answered,not giving any details."Get ready in a couple hours because we'll be leaving around 7"
"That late?"
"Yes"
Kalpana nodded and went to the bathroom.She got ready in a light pink saree.
She finishing her breakfast and pretty much did nothing in the room.Since the door was locked,she couldn't do anything.Raghav came back around 6:50.He gestured Kalpana to follow him.Kalpana followed Raghav downstairs.Not that she had a choice.He had held her hand in a firm grip.It was difficult to get out.Outside was a motorcycle which Kalpana had never seen before.Raghav sat on the vehicle,dragging Kalpana behind him,making her sit behind him.He brought her arms around his waist and started the vehicle.Kalpana had never been a motorcycle before so she was excited.But she frowned "Raghav..shouldn't you be wearing a helmet?"
"I don't need one" came the abrupt answer from him.Kalpana rolled her eyes.Raghav began driving and Kalpana felt more excited.She held him tightly and closed her eyes feeling the wind roll on her face and hair.She opened her eyes ad frowned.On the mirror,she saw two vans following them.Kalpana tapped Raghav's shoulder "What?"
"Why are there two vans following us?" she asked.
Raghav gave a confused look and looked into his mirror.It was true.Two vans were following them.Raghav clenched his jaw.He held her hand that was holding onto him "Hold on tight" he ordered.
Kalpana did not understand at first.Only when Raghav began going over speed,she fully understood.Everything was becoming a blur.She wondered if Raghav could even see at all.Turning her head,she saw the vans weren't stopping and were on their trail.Raghav began going off road and into the forest.Kalpana gasped as she kept ducking her head at the branches.She kept herself plastered to Raghav.She was scared she would be pushed off if she didn't hold on.The ride was very bumpy.It seemed though Raghav knew his way through.The way he kept driving through the forest dodging branches and trees.It was like he knew everything about this forest.Finally the bumpy ride ended.Raghav got off the motorcycle and Kalpana followed.He looked around and mumbled "Looks like we lost them"
Kalpana looked at him confused but before she could ask,he grabbed her wrist and began walking.Kalpana remained quiet.She followed wherever he took her.He stopped before a small,old cottage.Kalpana scrunched her eyebrows and looked at him "How did you know this was here"
"Instincts" he said,not giving it much a thought.
Kalpana didn't believe him but decided not to argue.Raghav lead her inside.The door was open.There wasn't much inside.Just a few chairs,a hay bed,and a table.The table looked really heavy "Does somebody live in here"
"No" he said.Kalpana looked at him confused as how he knew this "I don't think anybody does" Kalpana nodded.She looked around and sat on the hay bed.It was very comfy.Raghav looked at her and took out his mobile from his pocket.He went outside and Kalpana followed him,making sure he didn't know "Hey,it's me..I can't come today...no it's not because of her..it was because that Yadav and his men were following us..yes I perfectly know what I am supposed to do...tomorrow should work...I am coming with her in the morning...yes it is important...I can't trust them...right..good..see you tomorrow" He cut the call and Kalpana immediately went inside and sat on the hay bed,playing with her fingers.Raghav looked at her and shoved the mobile into his pocket "Is that a cockroach on your shoulder?"
Kalpana yelped and began screaming.She got up and began flapping her arms trying to get rid of it.Raghav held Kalpana's wrist and handcuffed her to the leg of the table.Since it was heavy,there was no chance she could escape.Kalpana gasped,seeing the handcuffs on her wrist.She pulled hard but she was stuck "Where did you get the handcuffs?"
"I know someone" he answered.
"Let me go"
"No..I am going outside to look for any source of food...handcuffing you to this heavy table will make sure you don't try to escape while I am gone..I'll come in about fifteen minutes" He turned to leave but stopped hearing her question.
"Is there really a cockroach on my shoulder?"
He sighed "No" He smiled and left.
After long fifteen minutes,he finally returned with many berries.She squealed in joy seeing them.Raghav released Kalpana from the handcuffs and she ran to the berries and began eating them.Raghav smiled seeing her act like a child.She looked at him and offered him a berry.He shook his head "I already had my share on the way"
She nodded and began eating.Finally finishing,she sighed.Raghav looked at her and saw she had berry juice dripping down her lip.He felt the urge to wipe it away.Walking up to her,he wiped the juice from her lip but it had already trailed down her chin.Looking at her lip,he licked his lips.Kalpana gulped seeing him so involved in her.Leaning down,he placed his lips on her.Kalpana gasped.She had never kissed anyone before..they hadn't even kissed when they were together two years ago.Raghav thrust his tongue into her open mouth,licking the juice her mouth held.Kalpana moaned,holding Raghav's shoulder scared she would fall down.He sucked her lower lip.She returned the kiss with equal passion.Finally leaving her lips,he moved south,sucking the juice trailing down her chin to her neck and stopping it at her collar bone.Cleaning up the juice,he pressed his lips back on hers but stopped abruptly when they heard a phone ring.It was Raghav's mobile.Kalpana gasped and pulled away,unable to believe what she had done.Raghav too pulled away,and took out the phone.He went out and answered "Yeah Sam...me and Kalpana will return tomorrow afternoon...I have my reasons...keep him under control,I am the boss..okay bye" He cut the call and put it back in his pocket.He closed his eyes,remembering what had occurred a few minutes ago.He licked his lips and smiled.
