Part 9

"Nice trick Kalpi" said Raghav.Kalpana gasped knowing he had found out.

"But how" she asked whispering.

"I saw you slip the phone into Sam's pocket...what were you doing with my phone" Raghav took a dangerous step towards her making her step back "Who did you call?"

"I-I didn't call anybody.You can even check your call history" Raghav looked at his phone's call history and it was empty.Kalpana patted herself on the back mentally remembering she had erased the call history so he wouldn't know.Raghav looked back up at Kalpana and nodded.Kalpana took that as a sign that she can leave and left.

Kalpana let out a sigh of relief and sat on her bed.It was 11:30.She was tired so she decided to take a nap.When she woke up it was 2:20.Kalpana stood up and stretched.She saw her door open as she had forgotten to close it.She headed towards the door to close it but stopped when she heard Raghav's voice.He was talking to someone on the phone "Yeah..I am heading there...I know what to do...I know after all I am the best" He smirked.He cut the call and put it in his pocket.Raghav bent down and held a brief case.Kalpana narrowed her eyes trying to figure out what could be in it.

"Can I come?" asked Kalpana appearing suddenly in Raghav's way.

Raghav sighed and finally nodded."But if I find you trying to escape,there will be many consequences" Kalpana nodded and followed him to his car.Raghav placed the brief case in the back seat.Kalpana was about to sit in the back with brief case "Sit up front" he commanded.Kalpana glared at him and made a face and finally sat in the front.

Raghav drove to a destination unknown to Kalpana.She wondered why she even asked to go.'Because I got curious' thought Kalpana answering her question.Raghav stopped the car in front of a dark house.It was small in height but wide in length.When she and Raghav came in,there were two people standing.One woman and one man.The woman came up to Raghav while the man went up to Kalpana.They gestured them to raise their hands.Raghav rolled his eyes knowing this was coming.He gestured Kalpana to put her hands up.Kalpana not knowing what to do did as she was told.Raghav gestured the man and the woman to switch spots.They switched making the man be in front of Raghav and the woman be in front of Kalpana.The woman checked Kalpana making sure she didn't have any sort of weapons while the man did the same to Raghav.The woman released Kalpana while the man took a gun away from Raghav.Kalpana rolled her eyes knowing he would've had one.The man and woman let them go through.Raghav held Kalpana's wrist in a firm hold as he walked to his destination.A man was sitting on a leather chair tapping his fingers on the table.He had dark shades on with a white jacket on.In front of him was a large,black,square-shaped table with two leather chairs across.Raghav sat on one while Kalpana sat on the other one.The man removed his shades and raised an eyebrow."Let's down to business" the man said.

Raghav nodded.He opened the brief case.It was full of bombs.Kalpana breathed in trying to scream out loud.Raghav remained calm and flipped the brief case towards the man showing it to him.He pushed the case towards him.The man caught the case and closed it.He smirked.He gestured his man who had a case of money to shut it.He closed it.Two men pointed their
guns at Raghav and Kalpana's head.Kalpana held her arm rest tightly scared to see the guns."Unfair,are we" said Raghav leaning back on his chair.'How can he be so calm' thought Kalpana.Raghav leaned forward towards the table.The men pointed their guns more towards Raghav but he held out a hand gesturing them to be calm.Raghav took hold of the paper weight and stared at it for a moment.He threw it on the guard who pointed the gun at Kalpana,knocking his senses out.He grabbed the gun from the other man and pushed him away.The man who had Raghav's brief case stood up from his seat pulling out a gun and pointing it at Raghav.Raghav remained sitting on his seat.The man pulled the trigger but Raghav lowered his chair making the bullet hit the chair.Raghav pointed his gun at the man and shot the brief case out of his hand.'Perfect shot' thought Kalpana.Suddenly the room was filled with sirens.Police sirens.The police was coming.Raghav glanced at Kalpana and immediately took his brief case and the case with the money.He held Kalpana's hand and dragged her out.The police came in immediately after they left.The people inside were caught.

Kalpana tried pulling her hand out of Raghav's grasp but he was too strong.She was about to yell but was stopped by his hand.Raghav threw the two brief cases inside his car trunk and pushed Kalpana in the back seat.Raghav started the car and raced out.The police was behind him.They were chasing him.Raghav raised the speed."Stop the vehicle Panther" yelled an inspector from his van.Raghav didn't listen neither did he look back.He could see everything from his mirror.Kalpana heard a gun shot but was sure it didn't hit them.

"Raghav..he said to stop.He's even shooting at us" yelled Kalpana,over the loud sirens,wanting him to stop so they didn't have an accident.Overall she didn't even wear her seat belt but neither did he.

"Do you think I want to listen" said Raghav gritting his teeth.

He raised the speed faster if it was possible.He obviously didn't know where he was going.He drove through a narrow passage between small shops but the police kept him in eye view.Raghav managed to destroy some shops with his crazy driving.Suddenly he turned and drove into the forest.The police followed.Raghav zig zagged through the forest and finally managed to lose them.He drove through the forest and surprisingly made their way to the mansion.Kalpana kept breathing in and out.Seeing this state of hers,he asked her in a concerned voice "Are you okay?"

Kalpana lost her temper "WHAT THE HELL WERE YOU DOING?WE COULD'VE DIED OUT THERE!THE..THE POLICE WAS BEHIND US AND YOU KEPT DRIVING.THEY KEPT TELLING YOU TO STOP THEN WHY DIDN'T YOU?"

Raghav remained calm "I do what I want to..you better learn that Kalpana" with that said he exited the car and opened her side.He held her elbow and dragged her inside the mansion.He only let go when he saw the guards were at every exit.He glanced at her and made his way to his room,fishing out his phone and dialing a number.Kalpana watched as he disappeared in his room and sighed.She made her way to her room and locked the door.She was so tired from the rough trip they had just encountered.'I should have stayed here' thought Kalpana.It was night when they had come back.It was very dark outside.Kalpana looked at the time.It was 11:30.She suddenly heard a tap on her window.Kalpana raised her eyebrows in surprise.She walked to her window and opened it.She looked around and spotted Pakhi.Kalpana rubbed her eyes to make sure she wasn't dreaming.She opened her eyes and saw Pakhi still there.Kalpana grinned from happiness to see her best friend.Pakhi smiled.She had a rope with her and a car in the forest.Pakhi threw the rope high up enough for Kalpana to reach.Kalpana grabbed it and tied it to the bed.The bed weighed a lot so it would be a miracle if it moved an inch.Kalpana climbed down the rope and finally landed on the ground.Pakhi hugged her tightly and Kalpana hugged her back "Thank you so much for coming Pakhi" thanked Kalpana.They parted and Pakhi smiled "That's what a best friend does Kalpi but I still can't believe Raghav is Panther and he was the one who kidnapped you" "I can't believe it either.He was so caring back then but now he is just so violent..a criminal" "Anyways Kalpi..come on lets go before he finds out".Kalpana nodded.Kalpana and Pakhi sat in the car. "Pakhi why didn't you bring any police with you" "I wanted to but they didn't want to come because they thought Panther was too dangerous..some police they are".Kalpana nodded in agreement.Pakhi started the car but suddenly they heard a gun shot.They didn't have to look behind them to know who it was.It was Panther.He had found out...
