Kalpana just sat all alone on the seashore, lost in thoughts. She was in a big dilemma. She could see everything she'd ever valued in front of her, challenging each other. Choosing between them was like choosing one of your hands as the more important one.
On one hand, there was Raghav's love and his constant insistence on getting his reply. On the other hand, her mother's dream and the pride her mother has in her. On one hand, she's finally someone's first priority, on the other, she might completely lose her mother's love. On one hand, she does love Raghav, on the other; she also has the urge to prove herself, to show the world that she's not just a poor girl living in a chawl, to create her own identity. She can't just be the poor girl who became rich by marrying a rich man. She can't be just the girlfriend, or wife of Raghav Singhania. She had to be a different, independent person.
Thinking everything thoroughly, considering every possibility, forcing herself to choose what is more important, she finally reached a decision.
