Nice post😊! And there are some elements that I agree with. But see, Kalpi could have showed that police officer his place in that station but instead she was shown to throw a couple of english words and that was it! She could have stated the law, and threatened to go to the media and what not...play dirty just like the cop was playing dirty but she did not. And when Raghav came, she seemed grateful per her expressions, but right there she could have confronted the police officer but she didnt. Being poor does not mean allowing a mere police officer who gets paid for public service walk all over you and chat bullcrap. I expected more from Kalpi there. She has a lot to say to Raghav but not to others? I wish Kalpi post leap was back. I wish the makers had made Kalpi the hero there, so Kamla could have been proud of her daughter and her education.
Kalpi was right when discussing her case with Raghav though. She is someone who has a lot to accomplish and she needs to ensure she never divert her mind from her life's reality. In that precap, the officer did not come to apologise because of what he did, instead he said, I didnt realise you had such big connection, and now please save my job because I understand not to mess with rich people or their connections, and thats bound to rile her up, but she made him take that step when she discussed about that officer in such great depth. (The garmi wali line really fired him up)-- He already knows she will always misunderstand him, so he really does not care as per him she will never understand him😆😆 I want Kalpi to say the same to him, kaash aap too would have understood me.😆😆Raghav does not understand Kalpi's plea in great depth and likewise Kalpi does not understand Raghav's plea in great depth. It is neither of their fault that one comes from a rich bg and the other from a chawl, and that is something Raghav does not understand. What is wrong with a rich man falling for a poor girl, and wants to whisk her away from all of society's taunts? ETC!!! He is on a mission to bridge the gap between them, whilst she refuses to escape from the reality of her life, and I would blame neither. Both are right in their own ways😆 and both need to put themselves in each others' shoes to really understand each other's positions.
