Part 15 updated:
On her way to cafeteria she stops at Paakhi's cabin and sees Paakhi smiling like silly staring at her computer screen! She finds her face funny and smiles. She approaches her and asks her if she wants something to drink when she realises that Paakhi has not even noticed her in the cabin. She is lost in her dreamland! She snaps her fingers in front of her face and breaks her thoughts and asks her for coffee again! Paakhi is like chal naa dono saath mein cafeteria chalte hain.
They both leave and Raghav sees this from his cabin. He is irritated that he is unable to corner Kalpi alone in the office!!
However once they both reach caf, paakhi realizes that she left her phone in the cabin. She tells Kalpi I will be back and returns. The moment Raghav sees Paakhi returning alone he almost jumps from his seat and rushes to the cafeteria.
He looks out for Kalpi and finds her slender figure near the vending machine. He looks around no one's there as the break time is over! He goes behind her very very close. And bends his head towards her right shoulder to see what she is doing. The hot chocolate was pouring in cup and Kalpi was hoding the cup. Suddenly she felt warm breath on her shoulder and she froze! Am I dreaming? She slowly turns her head and finds Raghav so close that her legs giveaway and her knees become wobbly and she loses balance but Raghav comes closer and holds her by her waist. Her full body was resting on Raghav but her hands still holding the cup.
Raghav says very sweetly to her, 'Will you make a cup of coffee for me?' Without realising what she is doing she presses the coffee button without changing the cup and they both keep staring each other. She looked at his face so close to hers, it was this close yesterday when she had... she moved her eyes towards his lips! No wonder he called her a madhumakkhi the bite was really nasty she thought! It must be hurting.
Isss...Ouch! The coffee spilled out of the cup and overflowed burning Kalpi's hand! Raghav was quick to grab her hand and take out a kerchief and blowing cool air over her hand wiping away the coffee. He pulled her to a nearby sink and poured cold water on her hand. All this while Kalpi admired Raghav! She had hurt him yesterday but Raghav could not see her hurt. Her pain was visible on his face! He washed her hands and wiped them so caringly and lovingly. He scolded her for being careless. She stood there without any expression! All his love had made her pain go numb! She couldn't feel anything but Raghav's fine touch!
A small smile at the end of mouth appeared when Raghav was scolding her. Raghav was too busy in treating Kalpi that he had hardly noticed someone entering the cafteria!
Tumhaara dhyaan kaha rehta hai. Zyaada jal raha hai kya? Come I will apply burnol tum theek feel karogi. Doctor ko bulaun kya?
Kya hua Sir??? Paakhi asked surprised to see so much concern from Raghav's end towards Kalpi! He looked up at her irritated and then replied, Ms Jadhav ne apnaa haath jalaaliya hai! And leaves from there. Kalpi turns to see him going and smiles!
Paakhi asks her ye RS ko Kya hua? Achaanak itna caring kyun? Tumhaara haath to theek hai na? Hmmm...replied Kalpi. Chal break time khatam ho gaya hai!
Kalpi thinks she is feeling very nice and wants to share her feelings with her Aai. She tries calling her aai when she hears some men attacking her aai and Gauri.
She screams on the phone and Raghav comes and she tells him, tears flowing from her eyes...my aai is in danger. Together they go to find her aai. He asks sammy to track Kamla's phone and comes to know that they are in a nearby locality.
Kamla fights the goons to save Tai and asks her to run away. She manages to keep the goons busy by putting dust in their eyes! Tai runs off to safety. However Kamla while running falls to the ground and a car screeches to halt. Out jumps Raghav and Kalpi and the goons run off from there.
Kamla runs after taai but they don't find her! Kamla tells Raghav about the lady whom she found 20 years ago and how her life is in danger and they should go to the police station. They are about to enter the police station when Raghav gets a call. HE excuses him for a minute and Kalpi says we will go and file the FIR and you can join us later! Raghav agrees and both Kamla n Kalpi go in.
Kamla narrates her story and the hawaldar is least interested and asks her to leave as she does not have any identification for the lady. Kamla requests him and tells him that the lady belongs to a well to do family when the hawaldar looks at suspiciously and asks what she does. She tells him about being a Bai and he laughs at her. He tells her that he doubts if she herself has tried to harm the lady to possess her wealth!
Kalpi scolds the hawaldar on talking to her mom so badly. The hawaldar is just about to say something when Raghav enters and scolds him for being so rude to the ladies. He sits and asks for the commissioner. He himself dials the phone and talks to the commissioner. The hawaldar is petrified and agrees to file the complaint. As the process is going on Raghav moves out. Kamla n Kalpi move out when Kalpi starts searching for her phone. She comes back to take her phone when she hears the people in the chowki talking about her.
Bai ki kismat toh chamak gayi. Apni beti ko lagaa diya kisi ameerzaade ke peeche aur uska rubaab dikhaa rahi hai!!!
Kalpi is hurt and gets emotional. She takes her phone and leaves. The words of the constables constantly ringing in her ears wrenched her heart! They were right she was just a Kaamwaali baai's daughter. She too has not achieved anything in her life. A failure, she got the job too on her moms recommendation. Afterall Raghav is her boss! How could she even think of it! She does not have any right to fall in Love!
Throught the way to home Kalpi did not speak a word. Raghav kept glancing at her. Once he dropped them home and Kamla treated him with chai biscuit he left to see Kalpi sitting near bappa with tears in her eyes!
He walks upto her and consoles her. Its okay Kalpi, ur mom is fine and I am sure they will find her friend too! Please stop worrying and please don't cry!
Kalpi looks at Raghav and thanks him for his help and support. Sir I think you should leave. An employee should not be taking too many favours from their boss! Its your greatness to have helped us so much. Good night!
A sense of disappointment, surprise, confusion and shock washes over Raghav. He is like 'What did you say Kalpi? Boss? That's it? I am just your boss, is it?
Yes Sir! Aap mere boss hain aur main aapki employee hun. Bas isse zyaada hamaare beech aur kuch nahi ho sakta! Today I was reminded the difference between us.
I don't want people to think or talk bad about my Aai. I don't want them to think I want to take advantage of you, like the constables at the police station had said.
I am sorry to even think of crossing my line. Please leave me on my own Sir. Thanks for everything you have done for me and my family!
Raghav tells Kalpi, please pick up an axe and hit it on my chest rather than say such bitter words! Kalpi is shocked at his reply! She turns to look at him. His eyes all watery and he looked like a child whose candy has just been snatched. She wanted to console him but she controlled herself.
He croaked, Please don't do this to me Kalpi, I agree people say many things but we cant stop living because they say things. Why do you give them so much importance?
I wish you could understand how much I love you Kalpi! Saying so, he left the chawl.
Kalpi felt a pang in her chest as if something broke inside her heart! She wanted to run after him hug him from behind and tell him how much she loved him but it was not right. It is better for her and him that they stay separate and this does not continue!
Will Kalpi really leave Raghav? Will Raghav be able to convince her again? Will Prem be able to take advantage of this separation? Please stay tuned to know further...
