I know Raghav behaved too rudely but you know how pigheaded he can get when Kapoor's are involved, so don't think much. He'll come around in a day or two, please don't be mad at him so much said Sammy. Kalpi sat silently without bothering to reply as she knew how much ever Sammy may like her at the end of the day his loyalty lies with Khadoos err... Raghav Singhania. If you are done with defending your friend can we get back to work she asked finally. Work?? What work?? Sammy asked perplexed. Don't tell me you folks have given up on the bid without even fighting she added. You must be kidding?? Right, lest you won't make such silly remarks knowing well that our presentation is stolen he replied sounding slightly annoyed. Check this presentation Kalpi said passing him a laptop with her designs. Kalpi I don't need to see your presentation; your designs are pretty good, I'd safely say better than the one we selected for bid...then why my proposal was rejected she asked cutting him in between. Sammy remained silent for a moment before replying; Singhania Industries was never interested in bidding for this project, it was a last minute call. Though your designs are good your choice of building materials is pretty unusual which didn't go with the available financial templates we had and given the lack of time for preparing a detailed financial proposal... we went with the next best proposal as that suited the estimates, he said. Oh, now as we lost those designs how about making presentation with my proposal asked Kalpi

Kalpi, are you for real?? He asked looking genuinely exasperated. It will easily take 3-4 days to prepare detailed financial presentation; we hardly have 3 hours time assuming we are allotted the last slot...don't tell me you have hidden some magical powers to finish the work in matter of seconds, he said sounding irritated. Not magical powers...I have detailed financial presentation for my designs, if you like to check... she said handing him the printouts. Next half an hour passed in silence as Sammy buried himself in those numbers...finance was always his forte. Mean while Kalpi typed her resignation letter and took the printouts as she decided against sending it via mail. Impressed was a tiny word to say Kalpi rendered him speechless. He could see that presentation was not a last minute one but made with utmost precision investing many days. Though he always believed in Kalpi's intelligence, hard work & genuineness this presentation simply blow him off guard. This is BRILLIANT Kalpana; he congratulated a tense looking Kalpi taking her in a bear hug. Though Kalpi was baffled initially she returned the favour with a beaming face.

Now time to get back to work Miss.Jadhav would you like to have coffee or tea before plunging neck deep into those designs he grinned before calling the peon. Next one hour passed away in whiff as they both worked towards fine tuning the presentation templates. They finished the work around half past one in the noon. Their presentation was slotted at 3.30 pm. They decided against lunch given the lack of time and settled for sandwiches on their way to venue. When they are just about to start ...as you gonna rock the day would you like to do some extra makeup asked Sammy. It took good one minute for Kalpi to understand his words. Sammy sir...she stammered unable to form a sentence smiling profusely. But Raghav Sir...I'll take care of him you just concentrate on presentation Sammy said cutting her midway.

Sammy tried best to ease out Kalpi's tension as it is her first time facing such a big audience. And he knew more than audience she is worried about Raghav's reaction. He messaged Maya to call Raghav quoting some protocol issues which he can't deny. Sammy dearly wants Raghav to watch Kalpana giving presentation. Sammy directly went to the conference room asking Kalpi to wait in the cafeteria as they have some more time in hand. Soon Raghav joined him; Sammy could sense his raging anger & drunken state hidden between stone face effectively covered to great extent with mouth freshener. Finally when Singhania Industries was called for presentation Kalpi walked in with head held high. Entire Kapoor clan including Pakhi were shocked to see her in the conference room; Raghav was equally surprised ... he wasn't expecting her to face him after morning incident. He knew he went little over board knowing well she won't back stab him; but he lost his cool with Prem presenting their proposal which he left with Kalpi & seeing her with Prem the other day added to his fury too.

Kalpi won the entire conference room not just her designs equally with her persona. Her designs were novel, simple & eccentric so are her choice of materials. She opted for locally available materials which reflected in the finances. Raghav was simply blown away. He already knew they won the bid. With his experience he could see her going to places with right amount of guidance & he wants him to be that ONE person she relies for guidance. As expected board unanimously voted for Singhania Industries proposal thanks to Kalpana's novel & cost effective designs! The day ended on a high note for Raghav Singhania with Kalpi turning his guardian angel...she not just salvaged his reputation in front of Kapoor's but got a promising yet profitable project for the company; he is sure the project will be a breakthrough in the industry.

Though Raghav was busy taking congratulatory wishes from everyone his eyes are fixed on Kalpi's form. Looking at her expressions he for sure know she has something up her sleeves, may be resignation?? In no time conference room turned empty and Raghav Kalpi walked towards each other to congratulate the other one. They exchanged wishes followed by an awkward silence, Raghav could read the hurt in her eyes. Finally Raghav's dreaded moment came with Kalpi handing over her resignation letter. Thank you for every thing sir, now I QUIT, she said and left without bothering to wait for his answer
