Different dream of Kalpi...

Is becoming memsaab only thing she wants to do??

Somewhere I feel... show focuses on dream of domestic worker's to make her daughter memsaahib...
But so far, it has been all messed up.. Kalpi is strong and fighter... but I am wondering .. could show also focus one something like pressure of parents..

Probably something like... Kalpi has different dream or views of working, like become a teacher or dancer ... but as she got slap from kamla in childhood for dancing with manda.. she has supress her wishes and dreams under the shell of Kamla's s dream... and is only focusing on that hiding or ignoring her aspiration.. because more than anything, i think she could also be fantastic teacher.. like she used to act with paakhi, but again this wishes has been sealed.. because neetu had scolded kalpi for bossing paakhi...These could be psychological issues of childhood as well...!! Because becoming memsaab... is not to difficult, through any profession..
So far CVs aren't even clear... in which field of kalpi.. construction seems to be field of architecture... which surely not easy everyday work...

No tv show has focused on indian education so far... like this one does... like kalpi likes to study... then why be happy only with graduation??? why not do masters and also phd.. this would make much more and deeper sense... and it would be encouraging for other serial..

Maybe as the story unfolded more
They will show Kalpi pov on her career and if she is happy with it

I love to see that maybe she wants something different out of life but she was never able to even think about it coz of her mother's dream maybe after she helps raghav become more humane raghav could teach her to live for herself not someone else that would be so much better and unique than stupid love triangles. I remember one of dialogues "aapne liye toh kabhi socha bhi nai maine aai tere sapne ko saach karne k liye hi toh jeeti hun main" something like this

Yup... Kalpi will teach Raghav to live for others and love others... and Raghav will teach Kalpi to think of herself as well..

Very good post!! I dislike kalpi's character for thia very reason! Being an American and looking in on the Indian culture from the outside it really seems the average child is but under tremendous stress to succeed. Much like shown in 3 idiots.

I wished kalpi would rebel against this forced way of life. She is always so introvert. I wanted to see a kalpi that has dreams and aspirations. Like becoming a dancer or teacher like you said and how she achieves those dreams and shows her parents that success is about happiness, not how

on this stage the story is very confusing ! I can't get it . Well 4 the TRP reasons cv's are now more and more focusing on raghav-kalpi's love story ! This will definitely increase the trp . But what about the main theme of EMA ?? It is not a love story at all . Even kalpi's result issue was despaired !! The result issue was very important but no one think about it . What is diz !

Umm, here I'd say because girls in twenties are married off when the show starts! But for Kalpi, regardless of the fact that I love the romance angle I would love it if they focused on her ambition.
