I think so. Else how did the new guy know Anu's address. Also when Ayesha was telling Nikhil the truth she sounded scared so maybe she may later say that Anu was not Ananya but she was Anuradha and she had threatened her to tell whatever she had said.

It seems logical. I mean, can we honestly trust any "good" "savior" "hero" character in this show? Everyone who had those qualities in the past, ended up being negative! So yeah, Anurhada's father probably was the one who sent this guy. He seemed so suspicious along the way...
