Chapter 1

The heavy stormy clouds had wrapped the whole sky firmly.The dazzling,bolt of lightning seared across the dull grey sky,followed by a fierce clap of thunder .The heavy sheets ofrain water were showering,gushing over the plain roads. Viren was looking at the window wondering at the sudden arrival of this devastating storm. The horrible storm had enfolded the whole NewYork city with its intensity,creating a great hustle & bustle around.The signals broke off and a massive destruction resulted.

Viren was supposed to go Mumbai ,India that day but all flights were cancelled .He had to prolong his journey in Newyork.

His mother had seen many girls for him and at this trip to India he was probably going to engage with one of them.He wasn't liking the all sequences.He really wanted to go India to get a way out of his hectic and tiresome routine in Newyork.

Then the words of her mother flashed in his mind.

"Beta, everything happens for a reason"

Reason ! What could be the reason behind this ? He questioned himself laying down on his bed.

On the other side Jeevika was getting hell scared of the storm. She picked up the cup of caramel coated popcorn and straightly moved to her bed.She caught up the mp3 player which was falling down,plugged in earphones and pulled blanket over her.She was eating popcorn and repeating song lyrics in a loud an d irregular pattern.Whenever jeevika used to get scared or the situation went against her she did this.

She had hung up the whole house over head but every family member had gotten used to it.
