So from all the offscreen segments today, it can clearly be seen that Maanvi is trying to bake a cake for Swamini Bua, but she clearly sucks at it. It appears to be a funny sequence, where there's a lot of scope for cute romantic nok-jhoks between VirMaan and funny moments where Jeevika and Virat secretly help Maanvi. Clearly appears as if the makers are leaving no end to get back the show on track and to salvage it.

But, since I have been watching the show from its inception, this particular sequence makes no sense to me. I'm sure everyone here remember's Jeevika's birthday sequence. Now in that very particular sequence, Maanvi forces Virat to bake a cake for Jeevika. Not just that, she gives him the instructions to do so and is guiding him on the phone, so that he can bake a cake for Jeevika just the way Maanvi has been doing so all these years, so that Jeevika can get her Mannu special birthday cake.

So all of a sudden, why does it appear as if Maanvi underwent a temporary bout of amnesia?

And then we wonder why are the TRPs of EHMMBH dipping.

Didn't this same thing also happen with kheer? Once in an episode when Jeevika and Maanvi were discussing about the sacrifices they had made for each other didn't Jeevika mentioned that the Maanvi who didn't know how to cook at all went into the kitchen and learned how to make kheer for her Di...? but then when Maanvi had to do the same and make kheer for the Vadhera family as a new bahu, she couldn't... 😕

Exactly! I wonder why is it that when it comes to cooking, Maanvi suffers from repeated temporary amnesia? This happened once earlier as well, when Maanvi is shown to be frying pakodas when Virat comes to meet her (read Turkish Tea sequence), which clearly shows that she knows how to cook. A month or so after that scene, when BG asks Maanvi to cook for the family, it appears as if she doesn't even know how to cut a cauliflower! How?! Does the kitchen cause her to lose parts of her memory? Or do the CVs expect us to believe that one day Maanvi is MasterChef India and the next day she doesn't know how to light a stove? The CVs need to stop assuming that the audience are stupid!

I won't deny that I wasn't giggling when I was watching all those segments, but the logical part of my brain kicked me in the bum, making me wonder as to why are the CVs treating the audience like brainless buffoons? *sighs* Here's hoping that this light-hearted buffoonery might bring in some much needed TRPs!

And I am quite chilled out, DW! 😆

Same reaction I had. Maybe Manu only remembers for her Di 🤣 Selective amnesia maybe 😳 Once I can understand but they've shown her cooking regress at least 3 times now.
All 3 did look cute though and I always love it when Manu hides behind Di :P

Amnesia it is! 😆

Oh goodness, I had forgotten about that earlier. This really proves that you have more brains than the CVs!

And yesterday too, when me, Preeti, you, Preetha and all were discussing about solving the mission, we had WAY better ideas than the CVs, to prove that Jaiswal was the murderer.

But they took the most stupid idea out of them all, and that is 'seeing Jaiswal's reflection in Jeevika's pupil'. 🥱

We really do have more brains than the CVs. 🤣

Hahaha yes, the two of them trying to hide behind Jeevika was adorable! Kushal couldn't even be hidden! 😆

But yes, Maanvi has always suffered from selective amnesia when it comes to her behena! The way she remembers and forgets things, uff!
