Viren really got a chance today to show himself as a character, in those three very different relationships. One as a son, one as a brother and finally a husband.
Virat is in trouble, all he wants to do is help him but without Virat's cooperation what is Viren to do? The frustration he brings was perfect, as he is not just annoyed at what is happening, as he cannot understand it but also that Virat will not give him an inch. That burst of anger was just right for a brother. It as almost to say, if you won't help yourself, how do you expect me to help.
Tara I totally thought Swamini will move back and not bless her 'son' but no she didn't do that at all. Was it at dig at him? Most likely. To go and fight the truth. Viren as always fought what is right, (which is how they ended up here) today in Swamini's eyes he isn't. All she does is wish for the truth to prevail not for Viren to directly win. However, his words to Dadaji just proved how much faith he has on his brother. He knows he cannot do something like this.
Finally, him as the husband. He has always been known as a caring, loving husband. Yet today they finally showed another side to him! His breakdown was just right as it could not be done with anyone else. As a brother and son he has to be strong, but as a husband he can seek solace with his wife. I think I missed the phasi bit but I loved how he used his voice when talking about him as well. How when he said he's only a mere lawyer not God, if Virat doesn't help him. How is he suppose to defend him. Then the hug, a quiet tender moment between a husband and a wife. Where the wife is trying to console her husband only to let out a devastating fact.
Yup...he did...nd all in one epi...definitely fab!
Sumwhere at one point...eventhough the virika scene was very nice...the brothers relationship dominated..in every bit...whether its talking to virat...dadaji..majistrate..or even Jeevikaa!
